Hey Hasbro! / Re: Expansion of the Clone Wars Line
« on: May 29, 2006, 09:18 AM »
-Foul Moudama Jedi Starfighter

I'd love to see what that would look like.

Olander, I have to say that your suggestions are rather bland. There are too many Jedi in there that some may never have heard of. I'd love some of them, like Quinlan Vos, Bultar Swan, K'Kruhk, Tsui Choi, and Nejaa Halcyon, but the Clone Wars weren't all about the Jedi. I like the idea of a Morgukai three-pack, though I would rather get a basic version before the three-pack style figures.
For the Padawans of the Padawan Pack, I say that Hasbro should make 3 more Jedi Knight three-packs, and just have nameless people that look like those particular Padawans. And to make the 8 into a nine, add in a blue male Twi'lek that looks like General Norcuna. I think that quite a few of the characters on your list could get made if Hasbro were to do a Clone Wars line based on the end of the war, with stuff like the Outer Rim Seiges.

HunterofthePegs, your line-up sounds really good. It has a nice mix of characters, but it seems to lean toward the Republic too much. Perhap add in a new Magna Guard, a SA Assajj Ventress, an Unmasked Durge, a new, SA Battle Droid, and a Morgukai Warrior. And along with Boss, how about a plain white/grey commando and a Blue Episode Three style ARC trooper. The Vehicles sound great, but I think we need an At-Te, a Fighter Tank, or the Kashyyyk Pod Walker added in. A V-Wing would also be nice, as would an ARC 170 repaint instead of the Gunship.

You can always mail me four of them.

You're quite welcome. I hope you enjoyed yourself.

In other news, I picked up a Commander Cody and another Utapau Trooper at Kohls today. It's really funny with those Utapau troopers. I couldn't find one, and in one week I have 5. It's crazy.

This was very, very good, Justin. The updated effects are awesome. The only problem I had was with Sidious, and the Vulture Fighters over Theed. The Vultures looked kind of silly since there wings were on backwards. Sidious, especially when he is with Maul, looks like he is standing under an air vent, since his robe is all flowing and stuff. I thought the Episode 1 and Revenge of the Sith Sidious in the original version worked much better.

Now for the good stuff...
I really enjoyed the new, darker mood of the pictures. I also liked how the story wasn't changed too much. The part with the Gungan battle was good, even though it was rather short. I thought that was missing from the original.

  Keep up the great work.

That was awesome. I was hooked since you posted your interpretation of the
LOE scene, and so far your photo-novel has not dissapointed me one bit. This installment was nice and balanced with talking and action. I can't wait to see those clone troopers in action. Keep up the great work!

Watto's Junk Yard / How to contact the Official Star Wars site?
« on: May 23, 2006, 09:09 PM »
Okay, first off, I have absolutely no idea if this is where I should post this, but it seemed like an "other stuff" kind of post.

Does anyone know the e-mail adress for StarWars.com, because I need to ask them about a few things, but I cannot seemto find an adress to contact them at. Thank you for your time.

I didn't know that they had color pictures in 1864.  ;D

On topic though, that looks like a lot of fun. I had a friend back when I lived in New York who was really into this sort of stuff, and I always thought it would be cool to do.

I always open my stuff, so the more rare something is, the more pleasure I get from tearing it out of the package.

Hey Hasbro! / Re: "Spider" Grievous
« on: May 19, 2006, 08:11 PM »
I'll concur with the others...

SA Grievous with the right torso articulation would be quite able to pull off the spider-walk.  Grievous is one of those characters you just want that ONE ultimate version of.  One that has pop-off hands for his fight with Obi, has a cloth robe with saber hilt pockets, super articulated that blows away any other SA figure...  Even if it's a Deluxe figure, I'll pay it to get it.

Grievous and Jango Fett are two really snubbed figures for GOOD quality figures...  And both deserve SA deluxe type treatment (tons of accessories, etc.).

All he would need for the pop-off hands would be wrist articulation, unless you want one with scorch marks on his wrists. I think an SA Greivous would be hard for Hasbro, but still doable.
