Well, I haven't had an update in a while, and school has consumed most of my time during the week and on weekends, but I have four new customs to show everyone.

IMPERIAL INQUISITOR- A while back Gregorbian posted a 12 inch custom of his, and I wanted to do a 3 3/4 inch version of him.

YURBACCA, WOOKIE TRAVELER- Simple custom repaint/outfit of RotS "Final 12" Wookie for Yakface's Yakfinities Challenge.

JEDI MASTER ARDEN GOARD, ORDER 66 FUGITIVE- Rather simple repaint of Pilot Obi Wan. I didn't have an extra lightsaber, so I had to give him Obi Wan's.

SARGEANT RETALID, IMPERIAL TRAINING OFFICER- Head of the Imperial Academy's field training division, Sgt. Retalid is a former ARC Trooper with heavy experience in ground-based combat.

Well, I hope you all like them. LMK what you think, all comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking.

EDIT- I was downloading some avatars and had it set to 100x100 pixels as max upload size... ::)

Toy Reviews / Re: New JD Review: Death Star Gunner

Nice review as always Jesse. The way I got the holster to look normal is to cut it off with an X-Acto and glue it on the other side of his belt. That way, it fits with the handle facing normal.

Just got it today! :)

Thanks everyone at JD with these giveaways, they're really great.

Yeah, say if someone like me (def. not me, although I have a Rebel mercenary in the works) gets picked as the winner, there's no way that they'll be able to do that many Rebels. No money, no time, lol...

Ridiculous.

That whole site is ridiculous. I only really post in the customs and the TSC Forums there anyways, but there was a thread questioning the moderators about why they lock/delete threads they don't agree with in Wuher's. Of course, it was locked after 16 replies by Dave Myatt, saying:

You know, you are all missing a point here: This isn't "America" this is a forum...a forum about Star Wars toys. And it's one you don't own, pay for, or make the rules for (same applies for me) so if you don't like it, no one is forcing you to stay.

So, unless you are asking us to close your account for you because you don't want to post here any more and don't want to continue to be a part of the Rebelscum community, you should just sit back and enjoy the forum.

There is no "dictatorship" here. Matter of fact that is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. You'll be much happier when you come to realize this is a Star Wars collector's forum, not a country under the fist of a tyrannical leader. You choose to be here, and if you post comments like that maybe you need to ask yourself why you continue to post here.

There is no reason for us to keep a thread like this continuing.
There is no way complaining about the rules that you agreed to when you signed up to this forum will have them changed or disregarded.

If we don't like it, don't join? WTF? Ever think that somebody joins for the community, not the stupid little tightass rules they have over there? If we post comments voicing our own opinions about the moderator's actions, we shouldn't post at all anymore?

So, I attempted to bring back the topic, saying that we should be allowed to voice our own opinions about the going-ons in the forums.

It was re-locked after two replies by good 'ol Dave Myatt again.

you're right. This one will be locked too.

Darth_Nirvana : First off, the thread was locked, not deleted. Same thing with the Medicom thread in the 12" forum. locked, not deleted. You see, someone started spamming that forum right after the thread was locked, and in doing so, pushed it back to another page.

As stated before, no one is forcing you to be a part of this forum community, you do it of your own free will, so you know what that means. As stated before, this discussion is counter productive, and has no place, so we'll not continue discussing it.

Now, I did make the mistake of putting "Deleted" instead of "Locked" in the title, which was a simple mistake.

I don't know why he thinks its counter-productive, and how does it "have no place" in a forum that's labeled as "Your Star Wars fan and collector community. We serve all kinds here!"?

I'm just a little bit annoyed right now.  >:(

Here's the last figure of the week:

He's looking a little light on accesories, but I do like the addition of the BAR. Not my favorite of the figs this week though.

Thank you Dressel Rebel, Clone Commander, and Stormtripper for your comments. They really help.

Here's a custom thrown together from spare parts, inspired by Jedistyle's latest great bounty hunters/mercenaries.

Null Arc Trooper N-6, or Kom'rk during the Clone Wars, was responsible to reporting in General Grievous' position on Utapau. Later in the Clone Wars, however, he began to lost faith in the Republic. When Order 66 came through, luckily he wasn't forced to cut down one of the Jedi, but he defected from the Empire shortly after the Jedi Purge. Taking the first name A'den, Mando'a for 'merciless', he stopped his age acceleration with an illegal drug and he moved to an apartment in the heart of Coruscant.

Constructing a lightsaber but not accepting the Jedi teachings that usually follow construction of the ancient weapon, A'den carried it at all times with his Jedi-esque robes with stolen Imperial armor gauntlets and boots. Usually taking odd bounties or offering his services as a mercenary, A'den lived a very succesful life until he was killed in action on one of his commisions.

I'm not sure if Kom'rk was even available with an open backstory, but he was the only one I hadn't heard of. These pics don't really do him justice, I'll have to take some outside tomorrow.

Well, I hope you like him. LMK what you think. Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I'll probably just buy the meat just cause they're selling a meat action figure.

Wow, thanks for the three in-depth reviews guys!

CC1- Thanks for all the compliments on my HALO Jumper. A couple days ago, I decided that I wanted to do a new version that would look better and more appealing to me. So, I took him apart and never got a chance to redo him until this weeked. Here are some WIP shots, the finished custom should be up later today:

Outrider- Thanks. I'll take a camo fig into consideration, although I'll have to get some camo colors to do this. Maybe in my next update you'll see one. ;)

Incom- Yeah, I'll be redoing these two when I get around to finding 2 more Sandies and DS Gunners, so I'll tone down the black. The kama is just a cotton T-Shirt, I really like the ribbed look of the fabric. Thanks for the comment on the backstories as well, I like when a backstory is added because it kind of adds a little bit of character to the custom.

Now, for today's update (I haven't updated in over 10 days! Yikes!), I don't have much to show. School has been pretty time-consuming, and the only days I really have for productive customizing are on the weekends...

Jedi Master Ruhk Isrut was placed in charge of the 3rd Air Detachment, the legion in charge of air drops, or most notoriously the elite HALO Jumpers. Nearly fearless, he is an excellent tactition and swordsmaster, and often leads the HALO Jumpers from jump to extraction.

Private Neros (CT-5837, Beta Squad, D Platoon, F Unit, 2nd Battalion, 78th Infantry):

CT-4832, stationed on Endor at the height on the Clone Wars, met his fate at the hands of a remotely detonated CIS mine. When bent over to check his boot straps, he triggered the deadly explosion, severing his legs, right hand, and burning his face in the process. Later in the battle, when he tried to crawl away, a Battle Droid spotted him and shot him in the chest.

Well, I hope you like them. LMK what you think. Thanks for looking.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Battle of Naboo Wave
« on: September 29, 2006, 11:29 PM »
I haven't seen hide nor hair of this wave locally yet...  Hell the first Endor Figures are still not in most collector's hands in my area.  This is a real drought situation out here again...  It was ok for a while with the Tatooine Wave but we're back to most WM's being baren of figures or clogged with the Epic Battles crappola.   >:(

*sigh* I've noticed that as well. It's really starting to get ridiculous, I haven't seen anything other than Tat. remnants and GB waves for a little over a month.

Glad to hear that it's not my area though. :) I hope that it'll get better for the repacks wave.

toywiz.com has the case up for 79$

Toywiz is such a joke. Look at the prices for the individual figures. $19.99 for a Galactic Marine. Can you say scalping?

Wow, just saw the pics for Wave 1 and am verrry impressed. Definitely buying multiples of Mace and Galactic Marines as well as the Airborne Trooper.

Definitely thinking Galactic Marine is the best of the wave, the paint on that one is superb. Looks to be super articulated as well.

Can't wait til January, that's when the first wave of TSC hit in my area.
