Keep in mind that not all of us can incorporate a special scene like Brent's or Daigo-Bah's- if we do, the landscape would look too overcrowded. Some of us should just focus on making a plain landscape box with a few shrubs or something.

Just a thought.

DN,
I think that is a very good and very important point!
Thanks Brent, but Daigo-Bah's right too- I guess now we're just seeing what they could look like and when we really get started on final production we'll have to worry about overcrowding and clashing.  :)
By the way, remember that Ryan's instruction on these is that they won't be used in the final dio, but are just tests for final look.  So at this stage people can really combine any elements they want without worrying about clashing.

You know what, the more I look at Roron's plant the more I like it. I'm sure with some paint and some added foliage around it that would look pretty nice, kind of Felucia-ish.

Patreek that was pretty disgusting.

You do good camo customs, why does that one above only have tube though?

He has two, one's connected to his helmet and the other is connected to his drop pack. Thanks for the compliment too.

Thanks Darth_Anton.

Epsilon Squad trained with a fellow Imperial Commando Squad before they were deployed to dispatch Master Orden on Qilura. They had the exact same armor except for olive green shoulder and shin plates. Given the call sign Kilo, they were unfortunately forced to go planetside along with a Spec Forces HALO Jumper after Ep Squad's heavy gunner and leader were KIA.

Pfc. Karr, Kilo Squad- Given the chore of lugging the BlasTech 53-H Heavy Blaster Launcher, he wears a Scout Trooper helmet to shield his face from the muzzle flash on his high-explosive blaster. He also carries a standard military pack loaded with extra power packs for his rifle.

Pfc. Aven, Kilo Squad- the squad's radio man, his weapon of choice is dual E-11 Blasters.

That's the first two- just have to locate some more Sandies and DSGs and Squad 2 will be complete. :)

Well, I hope you like them. LMK what you think. Thanks for looking.

I'll have to hit up my WalMarts more often, I guess...

Mainly for the Rebel Troopers, everything's great custom fodder except for the torso...

The chest box and hoses are from the ATAT Driver on the original. I had to make some cosmetic paint details on the original. I also reworked the hose system- on jubjubjedi's clone concept, there was one hose going to his pack and one connecting to his helmet. So, I tried to stay true to that and change one of the hoses to a different material- some plastic thing I had lying around.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. This was a really fun custom to do and overall I'm really satisfied with the result. Here's Version 2 with some pics taken outside:

I think that he's a little bit better. Well, LMK what you think. All comments are appreciated. Thanks for looking.

I don't especially like the camo smock on the German guy, I would have much preffered a gray green uniform.

I'll still buy those two American D-Day troops, along with the Parade Dress German...that is, if they show up at the Robinson WalMart, which they probably won't...I'll have to go up to Beaver probably.

Inspired by jubjubjedi's HALO clone concept drawing, I wondered what an Imperial version of the same type trooper would look like:

The parts list is quite extenisve, basically a combination of Sandtrooper, ATAT Driver, Scout Trooper, styrene, and BBi accesories.

I tried to keep some of jubjub's original design aspects, like the two vertical stabalizers on his backs as well as a harness of some sorts.

The only thing that I'm not too satisfied with is how his breathing hoses connect to his helmet. It just didn't turn out the way I wanted it too.

Well, LMK what you think. All comments are appeciated. Thanks for looking.

As promised, here's the new head on Prine:

I didn't really like the suspenders on Samek, so I replaced them with pouches:

Well, the Sandtrooper in the ANH Tin is a plain VOTC Sandie...look at the updated Hasbro pics on their site.

Thanks for the in-depth critique Straxus.  :)

Some of you might recall my Imperial Trench Trooper:
Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, the Empire began invovled in a series of large-scale battles in backwater planets that targeted Rebel outposts and listening posts. Supposed to be just a sweep-in-and-out skirmish, the Rebels usually ended up knowing they were on their way and bringing up a battallion to support the Rebel troops. One such battle was the Battle of Dantooine, in the upper poles of the planet in the swampy grasslands.

Soon after the battle escalated, it evolved into a bloody stalemate between 2 miles of open no-man's land, where blaster fire and artillery shells slagged the merciless terrain. Thus, the Empire found themselves dug in in a system of fortified trenches, where they stayed for almost a full month, until an Imperial Star Destroyer showed up and decimated the Rebel fleet.

The Empire's frontline troops wore a green-gray jumpsuit with armor on their forearms and shins, a shrapnel-protected tactical vest, as well as a utility belt with a carry-all pouch, a canteen, and a trench shovel.

Here is Version 2...completely different, but same concept uniform/backstory:

*******************************
General Prine and Captain Samek were in charge of the task force assigned to elinate Master Orden. Stationed on the Imperial Navy Cruiser the Swift Vengeance, they gave the orders of Squads Epsilon and Foxtrot.

General Prine

Looking at these pics, I'll have to swap out the head on Prine to a more clean one...hmm...

Well, I hope you like them. LMK what you think. Thanks for looking.

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Re: i just need some help

My Count Dooku's leg had the same problem. Unfortuneately, I didn' pick up on it until when Itriend to bend his knee the boot just snapped off. :(

I've considered writing to Hasbro but I doubt they'll do anything about it.
