It was a great show tonight, the bar is really being raised.  I enjoyed almost all of the performances.  But this Sanjaya bull**** must end.  He's downright embarassing.  If he had any kind of sense, he'd just resign and cease being everyone's favorite joke.

Phil, Chris Richardson and Blake were outstanding.

Other than your comments about Sanjaya and Phil, I completely disagree.  The show was very boring and Blake repeated his performance from last week and practically plagiarized the 311 cover of "Love song" from the 50 First Dates soundtrack.

The local gal, Haley, was also very boring in a week she could have shined with so many bland performances.  I hope Sanjaya or one of the Chris' go home.

Had to post this over here as well...

Local gal Haley Scarnato is one of Yahoo's Most Popular searches.  No doubt due to her outfit on Tuesady night, but hopefully it bodes well for her as the season continues.  Combining her range and her appearance, she may just have a chance versus LaCliche and Big-Face girl.

And to see what everyone is searching for...

I don't know about that, my friend.  Here's a picture of me from myspace page (I'm on the right). I took this picture myself. My camera was on a tripod and I am hiding the little remote control in my right hand.

Can we start a petition to STOP Josheee from posting pictures of himself??  ;D
Although that pic is very cool!  Somewhere atop the MGM Grand?

As for L.J.'s pic, I know she does not have a digital camera, only a webcamera.  So a timer or high-tech remote camera wasn't used for her pics.

Perhaps if we all pitch-in and get her a digital camera, we can get her to agree to post a pic!?

Foiled by the internet, a digital camera, and a photo posting friend!!!!

Actually it was a regular camera that was developed with a CD. Which is why the pics are grainy!!

Oi, this continues JoshEEE, SA Longhorn, and anyone else on my friends list, is that my space on mypsace???

I'm always late to the party...

I will confirm that the MySpace page posted earlier IS NOT our Lady Jaye's.  But, jeez guys, it's not that hard to find the link to her own MySpace account.  I'll leave the work up to you, but LJ herself posted the link for anyone to see over at RS.  She has a very cool site that no doubt took some time to set up.

I can confirm that neither of the pics posted are her.  The first pic is of someone who graduated in 2002, and LJ is not that young (sorry, LJ!).  And the second is a picture TAKEN BY Lady Jaye, so she couldn't possibly be in it.

I would consider myself one of her real online friends, but even I have yet to see a real photo of her face.  However, I do have other photos of her......of a more explicit kind......that I will freely share.......to the person with the highest bid!!

JUST KIDDING, L J!  I only have GI Joe pics of her to stare at all day...... :(

The story now being reported is that Ashley and her family were part of the studio audience of Fox's other show, "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"  Producers met her there, and invited her to the rehearsals of American Idol.  She "gave" such a crying performance at the rehearsals, she was then given front row seats to the actual live performance show on Tuesday night.  The producers were just waiting for the Great Sanvagina to perform to feature her.  No doubt the producers told Sanvagina to walk by her during his performance.

American Idol TV: you can't beat it!!!

One more time...

I think the performance of the night was given by Ashley the Crying Nerd-Girl.  She was fantastic!
 ;)

Ok..i'm going to need to see this....is there a video online?

Check out Idollogy.com for all the performances, which are also on YouTube.  Be sure to watch Sanvagina's performance for Ashley, the Amazing Crying Girl, who will no doubt be transferring schools after today.  ;D

Whoever the chick is after him though butchered the **** out of my favorite Stones song...  blah.  What a disgusting display.

My thoughts exactly.  I liked Gina Glockson until tonight.  AI is trying to make her the Punk Rock performer, but her version of PAINT IT BLACK just killed me.  I immediately ran to my ipod and heard the original right after her performance.  She should be voted out just for that one performance.  BLEH!

Just in my opinion, comparing someone to a chimp (especially an African-American) is very inappropriate.

I understand your statement, but with all due respect, I don't see the "chimp" reference.  To me it appears to make fun of her no-neck, big-face as a child.  The body isn't hairy like a chimp nor is the head shaped like a chimp.

But if you don't find that picture amusing, then how's this one:

At least 2 of them, Clarkson and Underwood, have already made millions, as well as having won Grammy's.  Fantasia rose to fame as the winner of the third season of American Idol in 2004 and was nominated for 4 Grammy's for her first album, which sold 240,000 copies in the first week and over 2 million to date.  Taylor Hicks, who just won last year, received a $750,000 deal to write a memoir of his life.

Furthermore, think of your favorite artists.  Not many of them struck it big after their solo release.  In fact, many fans don't even have their favorite band's albums until maybe their 3rd or 4th release, when "the hit" album comes out, and then everyone goes back and buys their early **** that they didn't know about at the time.

Of the 5 winners so far, only Ruben Studdard can be considered not "super successful" like you alleged.  Even though Ruben sold over 2 million records, he's currently engaged in a lawsuit against his godfather who stole hundreds of thousands from him.

So, let's say 4 out of 5 are "super successful" and now very rich.  That's "most".

Because of the success of Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, the other 3 winners can be considered "failures".  Clarkson didn't hit it big until her 2nd album, and Carrie has outsold all other AI winners.

Fantasia may have sold 2 millions albums (which I find hard to beleive) and been nominated for some Grammy's, too bad no one can name one of her songs.  Her career is now in Broadway, not a singing artist.  Everyone in the media always says, "Whatever happen to her?"  You pointed out the problem with Ruben Studdard.  And the last winner, Taylor Hicks, debut album bombed.  Daughtery and McPhee have had more success than Hicks, and probably always will.

So, change the count to 2 sucessful artists out of 5.  And, in terms of "millionaires", don't count on it.  Simon Cowell and AI are raking in the millions.  The winners are just a front to the entire business known as American Idol.

The business of the country scene is well established where outside songwriters provide all the material, the producers put everything together and then the singer is the final consideration.  Her songs could have just as easily gone to another singer like Faith Hill or Shania Twain.  Most people probably will not remember these singers in about 5 years time.

Shania Twain's career was made with her own music, with most if not all of her songs co-written with her husband, Mutt Lange.  Twain's first album was the typical country music album, with songs not written by her and just another cookie-cutter album.  That is the entire career of Faith Hill.  Faith is the typical country artist: pretty girl with a good voice singing songs from the Country Music songwriting factory.  I'd be surprised if Faith could tell you one musical note.

Not to sound geeky but 3PO & R2 were on the other side in the movie. Good collection, nice to see you have the RC set! Read the second RC book & you might have enough knowledge to make a RC PN! ;)

Thanx for the comments, ARTOO.

I'm not sure what you mean by saying 3PO & R2 are on the otherside since, in the movie, they are behind Padme.  Sorry for the quality, but here are two photos (note the camera is behind the ceremony, therefore, 3PO & R2 are on the right side of the screen):

with 'Preacher'

without 'Preacher'

And I am reading the second RC novel, Target Zero.  But it is no where near as entertaining as the first RC book, Hard Contact.  I would ahve finished the book a lot sooner if I actually liked it. :P

Thanx to everyone for their feedback.  Always welcomed, both positive and negative, and appreciated.  8)

Deanna Rash:  It's funny that someone will always vote for the latest chapter as the "best chapter yet!"  But I'm really glad that everyone finds their own favorite chapter in this long story.  Thanx for your feedback!

Artoo:  Thanx for the breakdown, ARTOO.  I always look forward to your comments.  You called it right in regards to the final saber duel.  More will be revealed in ACT IV - The Epilogue.  The flashback scene with young Anakin is set before TPM, as Anakin witnesses the violence of the Sand People.  Graga gets roughed-up, but is not killed or kidnapped.  I was going to show more, but felt it wasn't necesary for the main story.  These last three chapters were difficult b/c they all take place in the same place, so that's why I wanted the flashback scene.  The great articulation in these figures (Obi-Wan, Anakin, Dooku) allowed for some great poses.  I wanted to use the lighting to really add another aspect to the pics.  And I needed to address what happened to Grievous after the Windu fight.  The Clones getting killed was a fun scene to shoot!  I do have a lot of other ideas for a new PN, but I want to finish this story first.

Dressel Rebel:  Glad you liked the flashback scene - always fun to write & shoot.  And I appreciate your comments on the photos.  They are very important in a simple story like this.

212th Battalion:  Thanx and I will hopefully end on a high note!  Stay tuned...

CHEWIE:  Always appreciate your comments, CHEWIE.  I simply don't have the room for a custom set, so I do try different things to take away from the fact my sets are lacking.  It's probably why I bust my brains when writing the dialogue and shooting the pics.  This PN has been drastically different from my other PNs if only b/c of characters like SHADE and SAGEV.  The fan fic characters really allow for more freedom in the story, and do add another level of depth to the story.  And as soon as I complete & post ACT IV, I'll contact you about finally bringing this story over to Yakface.

Thanx again for all the comments, guys!  8)

I heard "a" new GNR song on the radio this morning and it sounded pretty good.  Never really paid attention to song titles for some reason though.

Where did you hear this?  Song title??
