I was not trying to lecture and I was not referring to you specifically, either.

Right, we know that.  But things have been known to either change or be incorrect.  The report on RS is NOT an official announcement therefore I take it with a grain of salt.

You must admit, a commemorative tin with four figures and fancy packaging sounds too good to be true at $25 retail.

Maybe it's supposed to be $25 cost and a $49.99 retail?

I know that it could change or be incorrect, but how accurate has Rebel Scum's rumor list been this year? Almost their entire rumor list has been confirmed.

It says in the article that there will be four figures in a tin. Please, read it before you complain.

35
Trust me, Anton, if you were not a completist, you would be wanting a lot more.  ;)

36
There will be Tins for all six movies.

"there will be tin sets for all six films."

37
Actually, there are four figures in these packs.

"will come with four figures displayed in two packs".

Considering that Hasbro is already releasing many old sculpts in the DVD Commemorative Three Packs, I think that these tin sets will probably have mostly repacks, but good ones. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there were some new sculpts, either. Remember the rumored Luke in Bespin fatigues and other Vintage-style figures for this year? Those could easily be put into this Tin sets.

These are going to retail for about twenty five dollars.

Are you sure you didn't miss it?

Does anyone have the latest issue of Lee's Toy Review? Someone from that other site is claiming that the Dagobah X-Wing is in that magazine and it comes with the creature that "ate" R2-D2 and Dagobah Luke from 2004, and other things.

I am sure he is lying, but if anybody could confirm this, that would be great.

We are getting two figures for twenty dollars (without tax and shipping, of course, but I doubt it will come to fifteen dollars per figure unless you want expensive shipping).

I don't know why we all have to complain about the articulation in the figures this year. By quality, I am assuming that articulation is what you are referring to, because the detail has been nothing but great on all of the figures this year.

Regardless, why is articulation such a huge issue? I do not mean to get off topic here, but I just want to know. For main characters and troopers I want a lot of articulation, but for other characters, a lot of it really isn't necessary.

Well, I think it is plausible. Regardless, I do not see how articulation is such a huge issue with figures like this. If a main character, depending upon the costume, is not given a lot of articulation in a new sculpt or a trooper, then I will be mad. I do not really set up dioramas, and if I did, I wouldn't really be angry about certain figures not being able to sit at the cantina. Momaw Nadon and Hem Dazon certainly did not.

For those of you complaining about articulation, I look at it this way.

Hasbro was expecting the line to end in very much the same way it had after Return of the Jedi. Why invest more time and money into something that you expect to fail? Therefore, Hasbro designed these figures with failure in mind.

I'm totally diggin' the use of the VOTC body for the Sandtrooper...this'll be the best version yet.

We have known about this for a while now, haven't we?

On the Chinese Star Wars site, a few guys posted pictures of the Tatooine wave. I checked Ebay and some stores have them in stock.
