wow.. all of your mandalorians customs are all top notch and your female Mando is no exception.  She looks great.  I'm impressed with how well the padme base worked for this figure.  The mods you did look top of the line. I like how you added the kama/skirt to her.  You paint job really puts this figure over the top for me.  The colors for her are perfect.

wow.. the clown head really transforms the Ephant Mon figure. He looks great and I like background info you created for Shrumpel Thichna.  He would fit in very well with the rest of Jabba's goons.

I also really like your Ty-Ri Docosto.  The hannibal head works great for a young jedi.

Chewie,  Your vehicle customs are just as impressive as your figure customs.  The AC-AC looks great and I like how you coverted the Joe vehicle into something that fits really nicely in the SW universe.  What did you use for the aft section of the AC-AC in the place where the raisable turrent use to be??

Darth Slothus looks great MP.  The paint apps are top notch.  I wouldn't want to run into him in a dark alley.

I always like the idea of the Blackhole (shadow) troopers when they appeared in the Marvel Comics and then in Dark Horse's Crimson Empire.  And when Hasbro released photos of  the upcoming shadow stormtrooper figure, I just I couldn't wait and had to make my own version of it.  This custom was done using one of the Evo Sandtroopers. I also included a pic of the figure from hasbro's card art.  Let me know what you think.  Thanks!

I'm working on some fanfic battle droids and I can't decide which part combination I like better and need some help.  The basic idea for these figures is that the Seperatist Army created these Droid Commando's to better deal with the Clone Commando's and the Jedi.  The have better armor and self contained processors.  So far  I have decided to use the B.A.T. v5 lower torso and Overkill's arms.  But I can't decide on which upper torso to use.  Let me know what body configuration you guys like better.

Droid Commando Mk1 (with Overkill Torso)

Droid Commando Mk2 (with B.A.T. v5 Torso)

Wow Chewie!  PROTARR THE GLADIATOR looks great.  The LOTR figure worked great for him.  He looks like he can cause quite abit of damage in the arena.

Gregorbian, the figures look pretty good.  You did a great job incorporating G.I. parts into your figures.  The ball joint on the SA Imperial Commander improves that figure 10 fold.  Your mandalorians are off to a good start and can't wait to see them finished.

wow.. that prototype turned out great and does open up a lot of possibilities for the old POTF2 figures.

And having a kit with a few ball socket sizes would work out the best.  Eventhough if not every head would fit perfectly, it wouldn't be that hard to mod the socket of the individual head to fit which ever neck post size  was the closest fit.

Forgive my ignorance, what line is this from?

She is from the DTC (Direct to Consumer) G.I. Joe Figure Line that can be found on the Hasbrotoyshop website (And can now be found at TRU's).  She is part of a Comicbook 3 pack.

Chewie, its amazing how fast your PN skills have improved in a year and its great to see that transition through out the course of your PN's.  The new shot look great and have a nice crisp look to them.  Your remakes of the older chapters can be seen as "Special Editions" of the older ones kinda like what was done with SW.   :)

The new  Rykrof custom is a great improvement on the original custom.  I was never a big fan of how hasbro posed the Lt. Faytonni figure.  The color contrast of the brown and blue really makes this one stand out.  The incorporation of the Lt. Faytonni arms and legs work well with the Madine torso and makes this a great and unique custom.

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Re: gorilla glue?
« on: April 4, 2006, 09:05 PM »
For most of my customs I have used Krazy glue and have had success with it for the most part.  The only thing that really doesn't hold up when I mod neck posts.

Recently I have been using this superglue by loctite that is specificly for plastics and comes with an activator that is applied first to ensure a strong bond.

I have also heard of a 2 part expoxy called plasti-weld that is suppose to create a really strong bond.

I'm up for this challenge as well.  I vote for Gladiators.  The posibilities are endless.
