Looks like we got even more snow than you did Dale. Somewhere between 5-10 cm overnight. Roads were crappy, normal 55 minute commute took an hour 45. Blech.
It looks nice though, actually kind of surreal. Thick layer of snow everywhere, roads are all wet now as that snow has melted and we have steam rising from everything that is not still covered in snow. They expect it to all be gone by tomorrow. Your rain also appears to be headed our way. Since I work in agriculture though, this is all good in a sense. Precipitation definitely needed.
BDW, just wait until you live in it. Oh sure, it's fun for a while, but six straight months of this junk? Blech. I keep looking for a job in Australia. I've had my fill of snow, whether it's the -50 wind chills or sliding sideways down a highway at 60 mph. Give me sun and heat any day. Grass is always greener, doncha know?
