Other Toy Lines / Re: Diecast: Dinky-Matchbox-Hot Wheels

Nice Dale, I'd hate to think of what that set you back :-X

Going back to Hot Wheels (spawn of evil that it is), I want to reiterate a point that Treasure Hunts have to be more common now than they've ever been.  In the space of eight days I found six THs:

Nissan Skyline
Dairy Delivery
'69 Pontiac GTO x2
Corvette C6R x2, one on the long card and one on the short card.

I'm not suggesting these have become common, but I really haven't changed my shopping strategy at all this year.  In previous years I'd found maybe 4-5 TH in about 5 years or so.  But I've found 21 or so this year :o  Still no Mega Thrust  ::) or tooned Camaro for me to find.  I think I missed the Camaro but the Mega  ::) hasn't shown up north yet.

The Batmobile has started showing here now, in cases with the GTO TH.

End of fat, smelly, sweat-pant clad report.

DAAAAAAMN! Where do you get all this luck? Does no one up there collect these things? I had a good run a few months ago but have been striking out lately. I did manage to find 2 GTO's (long & short) last month and a Mega Thrust the other morning, all regulars. Up until this last find I was about to just sell everything off and forget about HW's this year but i'm hoping to complete a regular set now...

are they usually seen in comic shops? or places like target and TRU

Strictly comic shops. They are import pieces so you won't find them at a normal retail store...

Well looking at my previous post, i canceled the Emo Parker as well.

Anyway, I got the Spawn RAH in today and i am completely blown away. The box is huge to support his cape and armor. Medicom out did themselves with this one. The white lines on the costme look awesome. Possibly the coolest RAH i have. I am very happy with this purchase.

NICE! I love the look of that figure...

Well, I wouldn't go that far... ::)

Did anyone else notice that darn near all of the Sunday circulars had the Wii advertised?  That will cause a lot of frustration with consumers looking to find one...

Yeah I noticed it as well but the rumor going around is that they are going to be increasing production and availablity...

Hmm, in the states i've seen the Anime pieces go for $15-20. I've been eyeing the Transformers ones and they usually bring $20-25...

Kubricks / Re: Kubricks and Minimates

how much is the neon genesis kubricks goig for if anyone knows?

The box sets are generally cheap and can usually be had for under $10 each. The only expensive piece is the 400% (which i've been hunting), that can bring around $125...

I'd give my left nugget for:

- Toynami Futurama Mating Season Zoidberg Figure
- Shocker Toys Metalocalypse Exclusive Nathan Explosion/Murderface Figures

And Toy Tokyo will probably have a 400% Kubrick/Bearbrick of some sorts...

I also really like...... the Ewoks but they don't really have much "character" to them...

No more hot wheels for you >:(

I'm a huge Ewok lover, check the avatar!  :)  You didn't get to know much about them other than they put up a hell of a fight and can party their asses off which I totally respect.

I think she should have been quarantined in the same room with the tuberculosis guy and that way she would have contracted TB and when she got out she would have spread it to her little whorish friends like Nicole Richie and Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears and then they would all spread it to all the parasitic paparazzi who follow them around non-stop 24/7, and then they'd all eventually choke to their miserable deaths on all the blood they coughed up.  But that wouldn't be the end for them--no sir--then they'd all go to Hell, where they would roast for all eternity while Satan laughed and nobody on Earth or in Heaven gave a damn.

I couldn't have said it better myself. NICE!

1. Chewbacca - all the way back to my youth, he's been my favorite. A big faithful, loveable furball. What's not to love?

2. Lando Calrissian - put up against the wall he made a mistake but in the end he regretted it and righted his wrongs. I can relate to that...

3. Han Solo - the James Dean of the SW universe...

I also really like the Stormtroopers and the Ewoks but they don't really have much "character" to them...

I never really cared for Luke or Vader which is funny seeing as the whole damn saga is about them...
