Other Collectibles / Re: Sideshow's 1/4 Statues

WOW! Vader really is impressive although I'm undecided on wether or not I prefer him to Han.... There was one slight problem though he was to tall to fit on the shelf! DOH! So I've had to move my Sideshows on to the my Gentle giant shelf and vice versa.

I'm undecided on Obi-Wan, although he does look veyr cool dueling with Vader I probably wouldnt display them this way anyway. From the pics I've seen his face looks excellent but other than that theres not alot to him.
Perhaps someone could post some detailed pics on here when theres arrives so I can decide wether or not to take the plunge and grab one on Ebay, will probably wait until the initial rush is over though like I have with the other 3 and get him at better price probably expect to get it at around £100 like I did Han and Luke.
Not too sure about Leia either I can see me being able to grab her at under £100 like I did Luke as I can't see her being all that popular.
Definately taking the plunge with Greivous my budget has already gone well over £1000 (around $1800) but I've got to have him what ever happens.

Various sorts of Model kits such as SW ships, Koto kits, Airoplanes, Tanks, Cars etc.
Model Railway trains etc.
And the things I have a great interest in such as the Gentle Giant and Sideshow stuff, Marvel, SW etc.
Basiclly a Models and Collectibles shop, were just waiting for the all long boring stuff with the lease etc for the property.
I've just bought a full set of Boba Fett Armour and a jump suit etc just got to wait for it to get built and shipped now. Looking out for a mannequin now to display it on and then thats me finished with the display pieces.
Buying stuff at wholesale prices should help me with my personal collection anyay ;D

Added a couple more of these to my collection now, The trade Federation Droid and a mini Vader, The Trade Federation Droid is excellent, much better than the fett but its made in a different style to the Fett, The vader isnt really very detailed or anything and has been painted but it was very cheap so thought it was worth grabbing.

i've found some pics of the others and info on the others:

Even in the midst of a Star Wars summer, fans can look forward to a flurry of exciting new snow globes now available for shoppers eager to get into the holiday spirit a few months early. With lights, sounds, and other cool features, this relatively new category in the field of Star Wars collectibles takes a giant leap forward with these exceptionally well-crafted additions to a growing hobby. Of course, most of these are not designed specifically for the holidays -- these can be successfully displayed year-round at home, in the office, or wherever a bit of Star Wars flair is needed.

Rawcliffe Darth Vader Snow Globe
Look into the eyes of Darth Vader and discover the fate of the former Jedi Knight! This innovative new snow globe features the dueling figures of Anakin and Obi-Wan behind the eyes of Vader's iconic helmet, the top part of which can be removed for better viewing. The sculpting and finish on Vader's helmet truly make this a striking piece to behold, paired with a breathing sound effect with lights that modulate to its rhythm. The tormented mind of the Dark Lord is revealed in this artful sculpture that measures over nine inches tall and will easily be the most intimidating display in your Darth Vader or snow globe

Rawcliffe's Yoda vs. Sidious Snow Globe
The climactic battle between Yoda and Darth Sidious is effectively captured in this great new snow globe which pairs great sculpting with clashing saber sound effects. The venerable Jedi Master has it out with the Sith Lord Sidious atop a floating senate pod. Surrounding the battle is a striking base that recreates the Coruscant cityscape in amazing detail. With a globe nearly four inches in diameter, the sizable base really enhances the presence of this piece in any display setting, expanding the width to nearly eight inches!

Rawcliffe Mini Snow Globes
Yoda, the droids, and Darth Vader are all featured in a cool set of new mini globes that come alive with a quick shake -- R2-D2 and C-3PO appear to be suddenly caught in a Tatooine sandstorm while Vader becomes engulfed in an eruption of Mustafar embers. Yoda stands pensively on Dagobah, while a Forceful flurry of gold and emerald glitter "surrounds and penetrates" the space around him. All three globes are mounted on finely sculpted bases that feature the characters' setting and Star Wars logo.

Kurt Adler Santa Yoda Snow Globe
Ralph McQuarrie's classic image of Yoda in Santa outfit has been transformed into a wonderful new snow globe which features festive Star Wars holiday scenes on a sculpted base. Classic wind up music box movement plays "Let it Snow" while a delicately sculpted Yoda peers out from a snow-filled globe. Measuring nearly six inches tall, this is the very first holiday-themed Star Wars snow globe ever produced, and will likely not be the last. Get this first in a possible series now while you still can!

I wa quite disapointed with the lack of detail to leia and luke but was happy with the rest of it. There was a few of them made, there was one of the ROTS final duel which has a removable vader helmet which when on you can see the duel through vaders eyes when removed its just a regular globe, I was tempted to get that one too but opted for the ANH one... perhap the wrong decison after viewing it close up.
Theres another of Sidous and yoda battling in the senate chamber and some smaller single character ones.

The miniatures game thing, not really into that stuff myself but I liked the look of it. Hoping to add Vader soon, just go to find one at a reasonable price.
