I pulled the trigger, shipping was only $8.79 for a grand total of $258.79 shipped.  I called Toy Tokyo as I thought there was a 10% coupon, no luck.

The individual in the internet department advised me that there are no coupons and he would have to check and see if there are any more of the 300% Fetts in as Toy Tokyo only got a few  :o.  That being the case, I guess it's a bit of a gamble if my order will be filled.  We shall see.

Peace,

DBK

In case anyone is interested...

Kubricks/Be@rbricks 400% Bounty Hunter Boba Fett IN STOCK!

In-stock at ToyTokyo for $250.00 plus shipping!

Not too bad a price and it's already in the USA so shipping shouldn't be too bad.  I really considered it, but I just don't have an extra $300 to drop right now.   :(

Just a question, even if people are able to make a good custom of the Han and Luke Stormie where will they get the helmet from.

If you pop a head of the stormtrooper is it hollow and does it come off with no damage?

Simon,

You could be right as I am color blind.  However, I did call in my youngest boy who is an absolute spot on variant identifier with the vintage line and could not see a difference in color between the bespin Luke and Luke stormie.

The lil guy is nine now, when he was sick he would tell me the difference in moustaches of rebel commanders and eyebrows of imperial commanders within 5 seconds of looking at them.

Peace,

DBK

I think the colors of the Stormie Luke and Bespin Luke are slightly different shades. What do you guys think?

Also I think the hair is different between the Earlybird/Cared Luke and Bespin/Stormie Luke.

Brian,

I could not agree with you on that more!

Coke.  Especially with Jack Daniels mixed with it!

My commuter is a 1998 Ford Mustang.  This month we purchased an 05 Jeep Cherokee.  Man, Daimer (Mercedes) has really turned around Chrysler in my opinion.

The Cherokee handles like a luxury car and the ride is fantabulous.  Although I dread having a car payment again, with a wife, 13 yr. old and 12 yr. old boy, and a six month old puppy I dont have too many oprtions.

Reliability and peace of mind (6 yr. bumper to bumper warranty) it is worth it for us.

Peace,

DBK

nilito / yujon,

I may have missed this earlier.  Did you pieces come saled with in the plastic bag and box?  If so, can you or did you look closely to see how the bags were sealed and if they are different at all?

I would be very interested to know.

Got my Luke and Han Stormtrooper in the mail today  ;D

Luke - the head is different than the early bird but looks identical to the Bespin Luke.  Let me know if you know of any difference.

Han - the eyebrows and hair color look darker than the bespin and regular Han to me.  Can anyone with this figures confirm this?

With all the talk of fakes I am a bit sceptical to open mine.  I am not sure why as I have absolutely no plans on selling these.

Peace,

DBK

Brent,

You and I had the same luck with this box.  Well I bit the bullet and bought the chases for:

1) Han - $69.00 shipped - ebay
2) Luke - $56.50 shipped - Dr. Toungue
3) Vader - $86.99 shipped - Someone overseas had this for an $84.99 BIN with $7.00 shipping.  I emailed asking if I BIN the seller would cover the shipping.  The seller agreed and I just paid $2.00 for registered mail.

Glad to get these out of the way and I am really looking forward to getting these in the mail!

Intersting point on the market being flooded with customs especially the Han.  Are we certain that there is absolutely no difference in the Han and the Han stormtrooper head?

Regards,

Matt

It is kind of ironic that just yesterday I was counting the number of Lukes made to see if they had caught pace with the number of Hans made in this line.  With the ceremonial Luke (TRU), Jedi Luke (5), looks like Luke takes the crown by far.

I am not going to be so quick to judge Medicom just yet about rehashes since they have the best modern line going (imo).  I collect no Hasbro product now so I do not have the same frustration with rehashes as most here.

Let's face it coming off a STELLAR series 4, just about anything Medicom could do would be a let down.  I still can hardly wait to get my chase Luke and Han in the mail and still need to solidify my Vader chase.

I just spent a few moments looking at my Kubrick collection and all I can say is wow!

Best Regards,

DBK

Adam,

Good looking out, again.  I just ordered me one.  Tracking ebaY is to much of a headache for me to save a few bucks.

This is the perfect option for me just to get the purchase over with.

No all thats left for me from this series is the chase Vader.  Any magic on that one Adam?

Thanks again,

DBK

49.99 from Dr. Tongues Toys. Some of the KW guys have used him before with
no problems, and I have shot a few emails back and forth with him and he replied
to them all fast and very helpful.

I figured so after looking at the archive.  I was taking a breather at work when I typed it so I was a little distracted and did not have the time to browse through the archive.

Ultimately, I was trying to be part of the solution and volunteer rather than just bring up something with no solution.

Regards,

DBK

Jeff and Scott have already taken most/all the pictures for those already Matt (which have been included in their cool Kubrick features here in the past).  So I'm pretty sure those are the ones we're going to go with at this point, since they're already using our consistently styled backdrops and everything...

Thanks for volunteering to help out though!  If Jeff's missing any specific Kubrick shots, I'm sure he'll give you a holler though, to put those new photographic skills of yours to good use!  ;)

To all:

I posted this in the feedback seciton but figure this would be better directed here so it does not get overlooked.

Thoughts?

JediDefender.com (imo) has the best thread talking about Star Wars Kubricks hands down on the internet.  I know in the past JediMac posted all of the series figures with chases and pictures.

Can someone post an updated version in the other collectibles thread,  lock the thread, and make it a sticky as a reference point?

Same with other Medicom offerings?

I am trying to find images of the new chase Vader and an image of the 1st and 2nd Vinyl Fetts.  Time consuming to say the least.

Please don't bash me with see what a little searching can do etc.  This is a feedback thread and something like this would benefit all Star Wars Medicom / Kubrick Collectors that come across this site.

Thank you for considering.
