Hello, I am going to tackle the task of collecting all loose vintage figures.  Any leads would be appreciated.

I recently completed my 2002 figures, and the last three pieces I got were:

Dexter w/ insert and pipe text on an excellent card and bubble! ( thanks JediMac for hooking that up for me.)  I also scored the Super Battledroid w/out correction sticker and background from K.B. when they had their 50% off sale.

The other that I found quite difficult is the original Super Battle Droid with insert and original card back with legs separated from the abdomen example shot. I had one and traded it and have run across only one other and was unable to close the deal. I have the stickered back with insert. Sorry to get ridiculous with the multiple variations...

That same day I also picked up from K.B. Padme w/ background and mole on high cheek.
I also got a Padme w/ background and mole on low cheek that I never even seen before.

Hey Thomas, a while back I sent you an e-mail and you were going to get back on the difference on the two, I would love to hear about it.

I was just reading some not so great stuff put out by Hong Kong watchdog groups, nothing I didn't expect, underpaid uneducated workers getting screwed by the man with tons of middle men in between squeezing profits out of every figure

basically, profit is around 33% per figure for Hasbro...at $5 that means everything $3.35 is profit for Hasbro...don't forget the retailer takes and about 3 middle men take as well.  The workers are left with around $0.07 per figure between around 5 workers per figure on a line.  They are usually paid on a per figure basis and work 12-14 hours per day in July-Septemeber and then get laid off once the holiday rush is done

I am not against sweatshops per se because it is capatalism at work and everyone wants to make a buck...I think everyone should think though about how it all gets from point A at the initial extruder to Point ZZ on your shelf or wall

$9.99 - for that price I'd say yes, I would like to pick these up if I ever see them at retail.

I have mixed feelings about the color rankings.  On one hand they are cool and ad variety to the figures, on the other hand they will cause me to purchase more...

Thats probably what Hasbro want's, eh?

I have to agree with most folks here, this ship looks very nice.  Since there are so many Targets in Southern California, I might be able to actually find one.

Time will tell.
