Sounds like a lot of people are doing the slight warp on the chest plate. If I had an additional stormy, I'd warp one and leave the other, just to add a little more variation to the bodies. The mouth-piece things look much better after your touchup, Matt...

Dang, I shoulda ordered another.

I hear ya! A 3rd one is calling me.....and thanks, its amazing what a little extra black paint does for the  mouth and speaker thingees....

I am really happy with this one...now, if we could just get a Biker scout and/or Snow trooper

Love my stormies..If I could, i would order more.....

with my two, I did the 'heat & bend' action on the chest armor, to get it nice and snug and touched up the helmets just a tad - took 10 minutes for each and I love em

Well, I put my BMF together today, and I have but one thing to say,

"impressive....most impressive"

Hasbro has truly done an incredible job with this one - I have been smiling ear to ear all day!

Nice pics! Wow....I never made the front page before - very cool, thanks. Just wished I had focused my 2-1b shot now!!! :)

The Kashyyyk Clone  is still a super cool fig, but the height issue bugs - I will need to see how I can somehow make him a tad taller...

Here's my two cents:

Scale is a bit of an issue this round!

Finally scored the concept Snowtrooper from wave 6 - two of my favs this year:

I've heard about a lot of delayed/missed orders from EE this year.  Normally they aren't that bad.

I guess their move to Texas had a bigger effect on their business than folks were expecting...

Whoa, where in TX? I live there?

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: What is wrong with Target?
« on: October 4, 2007, 09:54 PM »
At my local Super Target, there has been no new stock for 6 weeks or longer. When I do see 'new figs' they have already been released at Walmart or TRU.

To date, they have not had anything beyond TAC wave 3.

Vintage Yakface is AWESOME!!!! Oh, man, that is great. Let me know if you do side jobs?

Heres another pic, this one of Smuggler Lando versus that 'awful' Vintage Lando that everyone puts down these days! This does illustrate what the "Vintage" line offered in terms of quality!

That's pretty good.

Now do one of the new 4-LOM and the VOTC-3PO.

Oh, Man, I do not have a loose version of the Votc anymore - that is my least fav version of that character! Sorry!

27
Is it so wrong to expect quality, consistent sculpts and paint jobs, even if from a $7 toy?

28
Just don't buy it.....problem solved.

No doubt! Well, I have my Amazon package sitting on my doorstep since Sat and I just realized it late last night - I opened my Han with Torture Rack, and as an overall set, he is pretty amazing. This particual Han will never leave the rack, so the body quality does matter to me. The on thing that does bug: the fugly paint job on the head. The white paint used for the eyes and teeth have some slop, and it looks generally bad.

Wow!  Even though I've seen the new 4-LOM in person and I've been lobbying for this resculpt for years, seeing the contrast between the POTF2 version and the new 30AC version is astonishing.  So are the knees and ankles articulated on the new 4-LOM?

Yes, they are ball jointed, so they bend and turn!  He is SA in almost every way. My only gripe: to accomplish this they had to sacrified protocol arm detail! I am in the process of customizing mine!

You gotta love it! The new 4Lom is cool, but he will be way more accurate looking when I get done - I will post pics of that when I am done!
