I tried to focus on the case concept
to deliberate if some guys would want
to buy this death star folding lids, when the figures are
re released.

I pass this offer, with all respect to people who buy it.

I think the case is curious, innovative, but perhaps not
a practical case like c3po vintage collector one.


As I wrote on another post... I will look for black endor commando, tie pilot and maybe Farlander.

Lando got lots of updates, the robes, scanner, to match sandstorm scene
only I wonder how much Hasbro advanced in the details of his helmet in comparison to the saga version.

This is a Lando for inside palace, Carkoon and sandstorm.

130 $ is an average 10.83 $ per figure

But Hasbro lists single figures at 8.99 on its online shop,
so it woul cost 108 $ in total

The key of the thing is how desirable results the death star lids at 22 dollars
for collectors. Hardly the lids could become a playset, their primary function is to display.

I think the folding Death Star has come to anticipate a new rerelease of the C3PO or Vader collector cases, even this is the first Death Star case (nice), then a spherical one will challenge sculptors´job.

Qui Gon and Obi Wan seem to be re releases of Eopie and tlc young Obi versions. The visible update is Darth Maul and Sidious robes. The sith outfit with their significative layers of clothes.

Hope they bear in mind this Sidious evolution for a classic Palpatine from rotj. ::)

This X wing is not only an update for the FX or Dagobah swamp version but its coolest evolution.
In the last 6 years we are being exposed to the concept of evolution among Hasbro toys, and the ultimate
sculpt does not necessarily implies bigger size than the previous release.

The ship evolved in pieces and accesories: the first dashboard, torpedo launcher and belly compartment, not to mention the amazing paintjob. When many guys talk about display of the UBP, is a respectfully option but the tvc version is intended for playing too. ;)

Luke is perfect!! He comes with an extra belt that comes over the sash, if he had the black glove he could be Luke from Home One briefing room too. I wonder if Hasbro would correct his brown cloak instead of the Jedi robe, but no worries, it a must!
I saw a pic on wookieepedia, Luke training with the green saber wearing jedi outfit and those Ben Kenobi´s Jedi robe.

Leia is retooled guys, at least on face and torso, cause tlc torso was a bit wide, more the ponchos and scarfs from Lando and  Leia are cool  8)

Calamari pilot looks curious and Cracken in a martial actitude.

Hope some day we get a new stormtrooper, following these sculpting evolving patterns.

The first 4-LOM action figure depicting needles on the cheeks (I´d like to see a close up from dvd or blu ray to confirm that detail)

The depiction is very accurate, his body is very C3PO stylished, thin complexure.

Perhaps sandstorm figures will come with softgoods cloak scarfes, tlc Luke from sandstorm was pretty well done, the only update could be the flesh coloured right hand with the blast wound, unless Hasbro retools the Endor Capture Luke to fit this outfit.

The submarine battle showed great improvisation of mini rigs, many like sledges.

Jettser species is an aquatic turtle

Almost all non human in the spot are anphibius, it lacked some gungans.

Seems like they caught some accuracy in the underwater movements of the characters, cause when fighting, the H2O element tends to ralentize or slow action.

This UBP means a welcome evolution on the X Wing

the dashbord in sculpt targeting computer, torpedo launcher, the section for the landing gear,
looks as if the size has been profitted to the milimeter.

Moreover the paint job is superb! ;) The turbines show yellow and grey sections, the wings show more panels painted grey or red.

I supossed they would have launch a bigger X wing, perhaps later, but this ship is far enough for this year.

The diorama remembers the detail of potf2 cantina and Jabba´s palace diorama.

I picked today tvc 4 Lom at E .Wong in Lima, Perú at a price of S/.20.97  ;)
that means US$ 7.5 at current price. Normally toys in Lima from USA cost 2.5 times the States price.

Well, I´m glad with the offer cause I didn´t pick the tlc 4Lom, perhaps I gonna look for the original coin at retail.

Great depiction of both characters in the 12 inches line.

The wires of IG88 knee joints are flexible enough to vary his pose. The paintjob impressive metalized body, chrome, bronce and oxid: the worn look.

Boba Fett is also a cool evolution of this scale, specially the gauntlets... today at minimum detail.

after looking at sandtroopers´review it seems that the tvc version have improved the paintjob (in some stripes, turbines, wings) only it appears like the interior of the cockpit has less details coloured than the tlc Dagger Squadron release.

The details are pretty decent, there wasn´t time for a bigger scale yet, but decoration on this sheep is evolving.

It is an enviroment near the Yoda Hut´s concept from Sideshow. Today companies sell enviroments to configure accurate dioramas. Looks that inside the arch of the enviroment is enough room for the 2 chairs, Han y Greedo 12 inches scale. 8)

Environment, Diorama and playset, very near concepts among them. Perhaps 2012 will be the time for Hasbro 3 3/4 environments (like potf2 FX conectable bases).

The sculptors have advanced in the depiction of the articulation for BD. They included silver rings for the hip and knee joints. This detail remembers me the last interpretations of C3PO from Sideshow, the silver rings at neck base and shoulders articulation. Whereas 3 3/4 figures hardly spotted those minimum details.
