Collect All 92! / Re: Chewbacca
« on: March 31, 2010, 08:11 PM »
I´ve got sandstorm Chewie (rotj) and millennium falcon Chewie (BMF) both variations desirable to configure this character
Something I keep in mind for future re uses is the need of a detailed paint job on fingers and nails. This mold would need to be extremeley accurate to profit its sculpt.

In what Chewie evolved was in shape, the application of shades in the paintjob and realistic bandolier.

medium vehicles like x wing and tie fighter hold the scale, the at at should be bigger, however its detailed sculpt is amazing.
In prequel ships ultra vehicles have depicted them with colorful designs.

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Questions for Hasbro?
« on: March 27, 2010, 02:46 PM »
Hey Hasbro, have you got plans to release the AT-PT from Rogue Squadron Video Games?
This uni personal vehicle also appeared on Force Commander video game

I think it could be a transition between a mini rig and a walker.

LEGO / Re: LEGO 2010
« on: March 24, 2010, 05:49 PM »
Lego is evolving in depiction of head styles (the snowtroopers are very accurate, they seem their Kubricks counterpart)
Wampa and speeder bikes are  a nice advance in sculpt too

Lego is profiting the surface of their action figures to paint the differential uniforms, robes, shirts that create a style.

Good work
 :)

The Vintage Collection / Re: Hasbro Q&A Sessions

more humans from Ot yerka, Wuher, Evazan, perhaps hoth troopers, like the deck officer who talk to Han Solo in esb.
The jabba goons from a new hope special edition are a nice project too. I think Hasbro will be releasing them in separate waves, like as in the case of the imperial dignitaries, which colectors wanted to see in this vintage line.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Ever get in a fight?
« on: March 18, 2010, 01:53 AM »
I fought a lot in high school agaist the bullies I think it was natural cause they were very agressive and counted with the support of some teachers

With martial arts I solved that problem, gained confidence. Then as an adult I fought less times, but I consider man is always at risk of getting into a fight, no matter age, social condition, place.

When the incident arrives better to calm down and don´t forget to avoid demands that the response must be in proportion to the agression.

and take anti depressants if they are recommended.

Medicom has shown a nice evolution in depicting and sculpting classic SW characters

medicom head sculpts are the finest on this 12 inches scale.

Kubricks / Re: 400% C-3PO
« on: March 14, 2010, 11:58 PM »
It is an advance in sculpting these Kubricks (lego style) figure

not a equivalence, only a similarity

It only lack a new detailed sculpt of legs and these action figures would get better definition.

Toy Reviews / Re: New JD Review: Sandtrooper
« on: March 11, 2010, 04:45 PM »
This sandtrooper needs grey or black dots on stomach like the votc stormie, however a nice figure.

Perhaps the grey lines on his mouth should be a bit clearer to contrast with the dark ones.

I think nobody feels confident before a fight is he or she isn´t prepared for it. I mean is convinient to know self defense, be trained in a martial art (karate, kung fu, jiujitsu, muay thai, krav maga)

If you learn martial arts you are not a bully, only you are trying to prserve your well-being and of course adapting to another culture, way of perceiving life, etc.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Karate Kid
« on: March 2, 2010, 11:52 PM »
The success of this movie was its argument as a bildungroman or learning novel, the skill is the martial art which lets the hero grow.
The music was incredible with songs like "cruel summer", "moment of truth", "you´re the best"

parts I and II were the best.
