This BP seems like a return to the diorama era of jabba palace and chalmun cantina from potf2

Following this style of hard card deco they could create a batle pack of Toshe station, repacking Biggs from TAC, making a kitbash from a Luke with binoculars and creating Camie and Fixer to complete the group.

But I prefer some day they built these medium dioramas with plastic for the floor and card for the scenario
like the potf2 halves of dueling Ben Kenobi, Vader and Jedi Luke.

I only collect OT, and not all figures, but I wish I would have the plupart.

I donīt collect from eps I, ii, iii, so I hope Hasbro focuses on OT for 2009.

Power of the Jedi / Re: Best POTJ Fig?

Bespin Han Solo, Bespin guard, Luke x wing, sandtrooper, imperial officer, Bespin escape Leia
300 Fett

The first vintage style wave set especific improvements for many characters like Chewbacca, because his sculpt is taller than ever, for the stormie, now passed into many variations, but I think in sometime, they will update this into a high detailed armor and suit sculpt, the part of the suit needs to be completed in black in the hip section.

The boba fett and luke were shorter than expected but nice.

The vintage style vader was repacked several times, now its time to update this toy with a sebastian shaw head and removable helmet.

Obi wan was great, probably legacy for 2009 will have bendable knees.

They could make a new votc Yoda with complete pants, based on vintage Yoda.

Picked up today TLC Han Solo B.D.1

I read the comic book for TFU, is cool. But I detected one incongruence: Bail Organa is hold prisoner by Vader and the Emperor Palpatine on the unfinished DS1, during the final battle between Starkiller, Vader and Palpy. Why if Bail escapes, he could hold his title as king of Alderaan? If sucha a complot have been detected, The Emperor hasnīt waited 2 years to invade Alderaan or make it destroyed.

The battles between Kota, Shaak Ti, Galen Marek, Vader save the tension of the tale. But I still focus on that incongruence. Bail must not have been captured on DS1, they must invented other rebel character.

Picked Darth Vader BD 8, great sculpt!

I found 2 variants for the evo Vader on legacy collection, these come with black RA-7 leg. One f this Vaders was very burnt on his face, like Ep III Vader, the other has more shade than the original Vader with the astromech parts, This Vader was a bit tan, but could pass as pale.

I think the first Vader in legacy BD 8, depicted pale is the most accurated of them.

Hello comunity, I thought in the possibility for Sideshow to make the conversion from 12 inches to 3 3/4 scale in action figures. I would buy them if they make em someday. For example, we always wanted a stormie with a highly detailed armor, this could be achieved by following the scale and the proportions.

This could be done, because Gentle Giant did the same with the minibust line to the bust up line, only changing clay for plastic.

Sideshow has talented sculptors, and if in that scale, they canīt recreate the whole cloths, they could build the action figures like Hasbro does. Sideshow must focus on capes and robes for these smaller action figures.

12" Figures / Re: Sideshow 12" Stormtrooper Commander

Itīs time for Sideshow to update the stormie to a removable helmet version.
I hope they do the same for a ROTJ Vader.

Evo Vader is updated with the 2 pieces mask and helmet from legacy.
Potf2 removable vader helmet has a well depicted face and head.

It would be a challenge for Hasbro to make an evo Vader with plastic cape and robe.

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: A suitable name for Yodaīspecies: Elftein

To David and Reid, Hi both of you, I didnīt pretend to set the authority of an EU category, only discuss the influences that would be considered in such a name. The joke prevents the dialogue. If all of us are adults we can share opinions from the influence of culture in sw universe moderately and without sarcasm.

Neither I pretended to motivate your anger, if you meditate this, Lucas and Keshner commented in esb dvd that Yoda was a kind creature of the woods, and this was related to Nordic myths.

The joke seems void, useless, I have expected a commentary based on experience.

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Oola figure
« on: November 8, 2008, 08:03 PM »
And how about a repack of this Oola from 1997, in a single Legacy blister?

It would reduce a 10 $ action  figure into a 7 $ one.

She would be repacked the same way, with Salacious crumb.
