Hello comunity, I thought in the possibility for Sideshow to make the conversion from 12 inches to 3 3/4 scale in action figures. I would buy them if they make em someday. For example, we always wanted a stormie with a highly detailed armor, this could be achieved by following the scale and the proportions.

This could be done, because Gentle Giant did the same with the minibust line to the bust up line, only changing clay for plastic.

Sideshow has talented sculptors, and if in that scale, they can´t recreate the whole cloths, they could build the action figures like Hasbro does. Sideshow must focus on capes and robes for these smaller action figures.

It´s time for Sideshow to update the stormie to a removable helmet version.
I hope they do the same for a ROTJ Vader.

Evo Vader is updated with the 2 pieces mask and helmet from legacy.
Potf2 removable vader helmet has a well depicted face and head.

It would be a challenge for Hasbro to make an evo Vader with plastic cape and robe.

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: A suitable name for Yoda´species: Elftein
« on: November 8, 2008, 08:18 PM »
To David and Reid, Hi both of you, I didn´t pretend to set the authority of an EU category, only discuss the influences that would be considered in such a name. The joke prevents the dialogue. If all of us are adults we can share opinions from the influence of culture in sw universe moderately and without sarcasm.

Neither I pretended to motivate your anger, if you meditate this, Lucas and Keshner commented in esb dvd that Yoda was a kind creature of the woods, and this was related to Nordic myths.

The joke seems void, useless, I have expected a commentary based on experience.

Hey Hasbro! / Re: Oola figure
« on: November 8, 2008, 08:03 PM »
And how about a repack of this Oola from 1997, in a single Legacy blister?

It would reduce a 10 $ action  figure into a 7 $ one.

She would be repacked the same way, with Salacious crumb.

The same body for grey shadow stormie (from tfu 2 troopers with emperor) the blackhole or black stormie needs a removable helmet version.

I think the shadow biker scout and hoth biker scout could be re-released in a legacy saga legends wave.

The Luke and Deena packs is one of the best comic packs
only a detail. Deena is wearing a lieutenant uniform, but in the comic she is depicted with a technician uniform.

Vintage Kenner / Action Figures with incorrect gun
« on: November 4, 2008, 11:29 PM »
Sometimes auctions offer an action figure in a wrong card or with an incorrect weapon. In the 80´s I picked a vintage stormtrooper with a jawa blaster. This gun always sliced from his hand.

Did you buy accidentaly when you were children an action figure (vintage) with an incorrect weapon?

Vintage Kenner / Re: Mini-Rigs
« on: November 4, 2008, 11:20 PM »
I have a few mlc3, cap2, int4, isp6, mtv7; I wish I could buy the rest someday.

Imagine what will happen if Hasbro relaunches this series but updated, for example, new mini rigs with their proper pilot or driver, and with sculpted pannels or computers, paint on the outside, etc, all of this instead of decals (stickers) :)

The Prequel Trilogy / A suitable name for Yoda´species: Elftein
« on: November 2, 2008, 12:39 PM »
Hi this is a proposal for the Yoda species name, yet unknown in the star wars universe. Yoda in esb acted like an elf from the woods. Elfs are spiritual kind, gentle and wise creatures. Besides, Lucas and Keshner told that Yoda expression was caught upon Albert Einstein eyes, a wise scientist who also devoted time for the arts like music. I blend both influences and this is no joke guys, I created this name for that race, highly important for star wars galaxy: Elftein

Do you agree? This is with all respect and care.

What other names would you propose and how do you define the race of Yoda according to the influences that created this character?

May the Force be with you

The Legacy Collection / Re: Target Jabba's Palace Rancor with Luke

The new photo of Jabba´s Rancor looks great. Hasbro has done a nice paint job. We see several tones, shades, and appreciate a detailed texture on the monster skin.

Like this 3po all following versions of the protocol droid must feature painted eyes, or glowing effect like potf2 jawas.

One thing this figure must has had was a painted belt around her waist

In accurate pics of rebel uniforms, they had a belt for their pants and another as utility belt with holster.

The Legacy Collection / Re: TLC "Scramble on Yavin" Battle Pack

Now I have remembered which is that transport from Hoth. It´s the vehicle we saw in wotc minis from TFU expansion set, "Rebel troop cart".

This vehicle should arrive on shelves, with a pilot and seats for 4 action figures, or it must be the vehicle for a battle pack called "Hoth Rebel Hangar".
