Thats the best Kashyyyk Scout clone that I've ever seen.  From a fellow camo-nut to another thats one sweet camo job!!!!!!

I gotta do this.  Thanks for sharing that one especially

As I mentioned over at the other site this is my favorite of yours to date.  Its simple but do not take that the wrong way.  It feels very star warsy.  I can imagine this on the plains of Naboo hunting Gungan dissidents or maybe patrolling Dagobah for an escape pod.

I love your stuff.

No that head is from the potf2 DS Trooper.  retooled and reworked.  I did add the soft strap in the back.  HTe head is relatively a total retool of that 10 year old sculpt.  I sended off the chin strap, etc.

HEre's another I just completed for my Rise of the Empire line.  THis Fleet Security Trooper is an early Imperial from the first years of the galactic Empire.  Its also in my custom's thread but I thought that it fit the profile of this month's project so I posted it here as well.  Let me know,

Star Wars Action Figures / OUTRIDER"S Customs UPDATE 6/22
« on: June 23, 2006, 12:15 AM »
HEllo again.
I was finally able to finish the last of my imperial trooper style figures for the Rise of the Empire series that I'm working on.

This one is called Fleet Security-Rise of the Empire.  Obviously I've used the vintage Death Squad Commander figure as my inspiration.  Its basically an upated version of that awesome vintage figure with some twists.  This figure is my personal fave from the ROTE line due to its likeness of my all time fave vintage figure.

I hope that you like it and please let me know what you think.

As always its your feedback for better or worse that keep me going.  Thanks for all of the input.

Those stickers are custom decals and they're not nearly as glossy as they may appear in the pics.  They were freshly allpied at the time of the pics and now they're a dull matte finish.

The color scheme was al my idea.  As I stated before my goal was to not be influenced by other commando patterns that have been posted around the net.  I gotta check out HALO one of these days.  Honestly I tried to make an original squad.

This was a fun set to make.  Thanks for checking them out

Yes they fit,
buts it takes some effort.  I like them because when you do finally get them into the scorch socket they are nice and tight fitting.  I believe that its worth the effort

Nope,
just #41 legs on these guys.  Personally I don't like the gunner figure or any parts of him.  I prefer to use the #41 articulation.

Never even played it.  I have no idea what the halo dudes look like but thats definitely what people are saying.  I tried to steer clear of any star wars influences and patterns.  Naturally I guess I made it look like something else.  Thank you for the compliments from what I gather Halo soldiers look pretty cool.  To be reminded of them is a compliment.   ;D

Those pesky commando figures are finally completed and here's some finished pics for you all.  By the way the decals were freshly applied at the time of the photo shoot and they're not nearly as shiny as the appear in these pics.  They look weathered now.

This was a fun project and I hope that you enjoy the final product.  Please let me know what you think....

I like the idea of concentrating on just Jango personally.  Perhaps we could allow for any Jango outfit such as his apartment garb from the Obi Wan encounter.  I agree that my life just isn't complete till we get an SA Jango from Hasbro but I know that some awesome Jango creations will more than compensate.

Count me in for a Jango offering if given the chance.
