I know it is doubtful, but maybe the bubble will encase the whole card or there is a second piece to the card that will enclose the bubble and even out the corners to give it a more rectangular shape.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Your Dream Wave
« on: July 15, 2006, 03:09 PM »
My dream wave? Hmm... That would be 10 super articulated figures at $.01 each. Deluxe figures at $.10 each. And vehicles at $.50 each! ;D But I guess I could settle for the following:

SA Clone Wars Mace Windu
SA ATOC Clone Trooper
SA Zuckuss
SA Ellorrs Madak
SA Pondo Babba
SA Bespin Guard with different head sculpts
SA Kyle Katarn
SA Mara Jade
SA Death Star Trooper
SA Imperial Officer with different head sculpts

SA Storm Trooper with Imperial Transport
SA AT-ST Driver with AT-ST

SA Hoth Storm Trooper with E-Blaster
SA BARC Trooper with BARC Speeder

I wasn't collecting during the Clone Wars line. Had other priorities at the time, but I really liked where Hasbro was going with some of these figures for the most part other than the animated figures.

Anakin ~ was a turd
ARC Trooper ~ good idea poorly executed
Yoda ~ decent figure could of been better
Obi Wan ~ was pop a.k.a. piece of poop
Durge ~ great details, cool design too steroid induced though for me
Asajj ~ awesome details & design, but the head doesn't look right
Mace ~ love this one! leave the arm guards off and IMHO this is a great Mace
Kit ~ terrific sculpt, love the muscle detail & the primal vibe I get from it
Clone ~ SA and I just love this era of clone helmets wish I had more of them
Saesee ~ another great sculpt, don't care for the armor pieces though

Even the figures I don't care for had detail to the sculpts. I really think this line was the beginning of the high detail sculpting.

I think the EU items success will depend on 2 things, detail of sculpts and articulation. If the figures look good and have articulation for playability, they will sell.

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Who wants resculpts?
« on: July 13, 2006, 05:39 PM »
I pretty much have to agree with every figure that has been listed so far. I also would like to see a few other resculpts besides what has been listed. I would like to add the following:

Pondo Baba (IMHO the head never looked right plus need it SA)
Saelt-Marae (better sculpt and SA)
Captain Piett (the head was okay, but put it on a newer imperial body)
Ree-Yees (always like this figure even the vintage, just make him SA)
Orrimaarko (make him SA and I got tons of custom fodder goodness)
Admiral Motti (see Captain Piett above)
BoShek (give him SA treatment)
Ellorrs Madak (with SA this would be another great custom fodder figure)
Tessek (SA with soft goods cape & skirt piece)

BUMP! Prices negotiable. I will also be open to trades for Star Wars figures, even ones not on my want list.

I will have to pass. I don't have an AT-AT, but I find the flip visor Biker Scout rather lame. I think a removable helmet would of been a much better choice. Why oh why would a helmet such as the Biker Scout's helmet have a flip visor? ::)

The next closest Walmart is filled with just two figures as well. They have nothing but Poggle and Sun Fac. It just stinks. I have never seen any of the Corusant wave or anything at these two stores. I gotta drive 25+ miles to get to a Walmart with any newer figures. :'(

My closest Walmart has nothing but Derlin and Veers. It is all they have had for like the past month. There is like 15 or so of each of them!

Saga Collection '06 / Where to get cases?
« on: July 3, 2006, 08:47 AM »
Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place to buy cases of figures online?

I know I haven't posted any customs yet, but I really like this idea since I getting ready to start working on my own Security Force for my own planet that I came up with. I finally got all the parts I needed to make members of the planet's Security Force and now I also got a few plain white clones to customize into my own legion. My planet's name is Oktooween and the clones stationed there will have a black/orange paint scheme. The Security Force figures will be based off the Cloud Car Pilot figure with Madine arms, a different helmet, and a few add ons here and there.

I like the idea of a SA Bossk as well. I dunno why, but I have always liked this character. Plus it may mean a SA version of my favorite bounty hunter, Zuckuss. I just hope I can get a re-release of the SA Boba Fett. I missed out on that one and would really like to have a couple.
