Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Rise of the Empire carries on!

Already commented at GalacticArchives: outstanding figure and an original take on the sniper gun. Welcome back in the game!

Thanks for the nice comments Anton and Deanna. Hope to see some of your Jedi soon, then, Deanna  :) It's always nice to hear someone say "hey, that's a cool idea, I'll have to try that."  :)

The only thing we have close to this dream is the Star Wars Custom Gallery. Too bad very few customizers know about this site.

One more added to my favourites! Thanks, Phruby!

Great! You know, I think you can make more than a couple of soldiers. On Rebelscum there's a neat little piece of info, which says that with all the vintage ewok figures, one could make 2048 different combinations with all of those hoods, satchels, bows, spears, etc.

You could also put the figure in boiling water. The vest becomes really soft than and will be easy to slide off. Especially if you popped out the underarms of the guy.

I thought I'd give you a quick glance at a special RepCom I've been working on: RC-J1406, a specially trained Commando, whose main job it is to hunt down Jedi. His cortosis alloy armour comes in handy at the job  ;)

He looks like a member from Omega Squad, I know, but I actually based this figure loosely on a Japanese character named Jin Roh. I'll add a wash and some dry brushing of course, as well as other details.

Here at SirSteve's Guide you can click on the marine to get a really good pic of him.

And our very own JD has a helmetless pic of him over here.

Im very pleased with how this one looks, except for his rifle, that is. I think its gonna be a huge hit and Im afraid Im gonna have to patient before I order him off eBay (my main supplier of figs)

Great add-on to the farmboy, BrentS. Also nice to see the wip picture. The finished version looks so much different with that paint job. Very good  8)

PS: your wookiees are awesome, but I already said that at Yakface  ;)

Ok, well, here's my two cents:

First up, Marine no.1, which actually was my first custom ever:

Second, logically, Marine no.2, this time he's got a removable helmet:

And last, a third version with an alternative chest armour, to make it more movie accurate:

Hope they're a bit of help to you  :)

I get it, you'd like to see pictures of customized Marines, right? Not the real thing, but the ones we made?

Officers? Like using insignias as the Snowtrooper next to General Veers has?

Vintage Kenner / Re: Latest vintage acquisition

My latest add-ons are 2 Lando Calrissians (General Pilot), a Luke Skywalker (Stormtrooper Disguise) and a Death Star Gunner. All loose, but in very good condition.

Saw your post at Yakface as well, BrentS. This really sucks and what a mess! Then again, that which does not kill us, makes us stronger, right? Good luck with getting the project running again!
