I agree that its been a long process, but this is the first time they have mentioned a specific time frame - I think they're just securing everything with their 'retail partner' before they give us a solid confirmation.  But stating that they want to deliver these both next year indicates to me that the exclusive is already designed and ready to go.  It can take a year or more to plan and produce an exclusive, so if they're shooting for a 2012 release, I'm guessing everything is tooled and the packaging is done.  Maybe we'll even luck out and see a sneak preview at NYCC!

Anyone else see the Hasbro Q&A today?  Echo Base asked about Kneesaa and Chukha-Trok, and apparently they are coming in an exclusive for 2012...

I wanted to revive this thread, because its my vintage collecting focus.  I have all the Ewoks characters, but I am still working on my Droids collection.  I'm after Kea Moll and the Fromms, and I collect loose so hopefully I'll find them one of these years, lol.

Bastilla was my most wanted KOTOR figure as well, so I am happy we are getting her.  I'd really like to see Atris too - which can be repainted / retooled to create a Jocasta Nu!  T3-M4 would be more a unique droid release, far more interesting than another OT or PT droid repaint...

Just for the record, I might be one of the strongest supporters of Ewoks in the known universe, lol - so I want to see them all made - look at my avatar!  ;)  I was just trying to be helpful in pointing out that Lumat has been confirmed, not to mention, Hasbro wont even allow us to create our own 2-pack scenerios in these contests - they mentioned that in 2009.  I was trying to ensure that if we vote Lumat/Wompus into the top ten, Hasbro wont simply remove it after receiving it...

I dont think TFUII was as interesting because the story had already been told, but didnt Hasbro already confirm TFUII figures for 2012 via the Q&A?  As I recall, they mentioned it as well as TOR when discussing video game figures for 2012...

If Lumat wasnt already confirmed, I'd vote for him, or any other ewok for that matter.  Hasbro confirmed him in the Q&A that was sent out during SDCC - expect a 2012 release.

I dont mind the changes, seeing as the originals are on DVD as well as the most recent updates to the films.  What I do mind is that everything is on Blu-Ray, as someone who hasnt upgraded yet, lol.  I really hope all the deleted scenes and updates will be online so we can at least view them, because I'm not buying this set nor upgrading to a Blu-Ray player at this point...

I totally agree, Logray could have used a little something extra, and instead we got a spear...blah.  I was actually hoping for an alternate head from the Ewok movies, where he sports a beard of sorts:

That blue C3PO is actually not from the Comics Spain company, its a bootleg that used a similar mold, but was made in Poland, crazy huh?  I'm not sure what they were thinking when they were painting those, haha.

Yes, the Blurrgs were what they rode on Ryloth, they also made an appearance in one of the Ewok movies, as well as video games!
