Other Toy Lines / Godzilla

Ok, I don't really need another thing to collect, especially at $70+ each, but the upcoming Bandai SH Monster Arts Godzilla figures are beyond awesome.  I've been a Godzilla fan since I was about 5 years old (so much so that I'm thinking about getting a tattoo of him on my leg.  The only other "geeky" thing I'd consider would be Batman.  Not Star Wars, not GI Joe, not a sports team logo - but I digress).

Upcoming monsters include Mechogodzilla and SpaceGodzilla.  I'd love to get them all, but like I said, $70 each is tough to swallow (especially with Marvel Legends making a comeback after a hiatus).  Maybe I'll grab Gojira only and Gigan (my favorite monster other than the big G) if they make him.

Available first at Walmart this Fall, then other retailers (similar to wave 15 last year with Kmart).

Good wave for Super Friends fanatics.  I'm definitely grabbing BT, Toyman and Boomerang.  Still thinking about the three Super Friend stereotype heroes.

Watto's Junk Yard / The Walking Dead

Anyone catch The Walking Dead?  Fantastic first episode that had everything anyone could ask for - drama, emotion, hot chicks, gore and zombies (the best looking ones I've seen, especially for a TV series).

Hopefully this gets picked up for a second season, 6 episodes isn't enough.

Should this show get it's own thread?  Granted, it's not for everyone, but my guess is it'll get enough interest here.

Hall of Justice / DCUC wave 20 - Collect and Connect Fan's Choice

Apparently in the latest Toyfare, it was stated that the next Fan's Choice (see Question and Raven) will be for the Collect and Connect figure for wave 20.

Choices are:
Blockbuster
Nekron
Girder
King Shark
Wildebeest
Shaggy Man

My guess is Nekron is going to run away with this, him being so prominent lately.  I want him, but he makes more since in the upcoming Green Lantern Classics line.  I'm leaning towards either Girder (Flash is seriously lacking in villians in this line) or King Shark.

Wave 16 is up for pre-order at various e-tailers.

Rumored line up is (credit to toymania via fwoosh):

new riddler

If true, that's a pretty heavy Bats wave.  Only six figures instead of the usual seven and I read only one variant.  

New Riddler is probably the Super Powers leotard version.  Should make Dan happy.

Anyone else looking forward to The Pacific, the "sequel" to Band of Brothers?  Starts this Sunday.  I specifically subscribed to HBO just for this mini-series.  If it's half as good as BoB, we're in for a treat (I fully expect it to be just as good if not better).

Looks good.  I'm down for the bounty hunter, but will be passing on the table.  Hopefully the price isn't up there with the troopers, Vader and the like and is priced more like the Imperial officers, Lando, etc.
