We'll probably go this Sunday to a matinee.  Loved the first two.  Saw the second one opening night.  Because of the punk ass teenagers, I really have no desire to see this tonight, so hopefully Sunday afternoon will be a good time.

And from what I'm hearing, this one is Stifler's movie, even moreso than AP2.

Close enough, in fact I'm not entirely 100% sure how you spell it and I'm too lazy to look it up.

Your up Sarge.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Need Help Writing "Best Man" Speech
« on: August 1, 2003, 08:02 AM »
The speech you have written is a good one, Chris.  I can't really add much more to what has already been said.  When I got married last year, I was nervous as hell to what my brother was going to say.  He and I are like you and your brother - practical jokers - so the nervousness was a little justified.  He kept it simple, but did manage to sneak in a rib about my Star Wars obession, which got a laugh out of everyone.  I think your line about "To Mr. and Mrs. Sean M. Rhoads" will do the same.

Good luck and most of all, just have fun!

What was the name of the Jedi Hutt that fought Leia?

Whoah, did I just get skipped?  ;)

And you can make an argument that Muftak is from Tatooine.  He has no memory of Alzoc III and has always called Tatooine home.  Either way, I think is more of an EU question anyways.

Other Toy Lines / Re: Which is Your Favorite "Other Toy Line"?
« on: July 31, 2003, 03:29 PM »
Star Wars is and always will be #1.

The only other line I collect is Marvel Legends and certain Spiderman figs (villians and true comic heros, no scuba gear wearing or parachute Spideys)

That doesn't say that I don't look at other toy lines while I'm prerusing the aisles.  I've had serious thoughts of collecting Simpsons, MOTU, Muppets and LOTR.  But luckily I talked myself out of them.

I do, however, have an extremely large vintage GIJoe collection put away at my grandparents house.  I don't what condition they're in and I'm sure pieces are missing and / or broken, but once I have a house, I'm (hopefully) going to dig them out, clean them off and display them.  And that probably means tracking down missing weopons and parts.

Less than 4 weeks until TTT on DVD, with its ROTK sneak peeks, which will somewhat whet my appetite.  I watched the TTT sneak peek on FOTR about 15 times, and it should be no different this time around.

The Breakfast Club is my fav.

Honorable Mentions;
-Weird Science
-Fast Times
-Animal House (made in the 80s but about the 60s, so does it really count?)

Nemo is on my definite must buy list.  Excellent movie (and I don't even have kids)

JD Sports Forum! / Re: Will the Red Sox ever win the Series?
« on: July 30, 2003, 12:36 PM »
I want to see how well the Red Sox can handle the A's and Seattle's pitching in August.  That's gonna be the test to see if they can hang with the big boys in October.

Agreed, its going to make or break their season.  They have a stretch where they play the A's and M's 14 times in 15 days and then follow that up with the Jays and Yanks.
