I posted something in the rebelscum thread, so I won't repeat it here. But the way this fan club campaign went down, and Philip's unprofessional (yet typical) response, led me to delete rebelscum.com from my list of sites forever.

I wonder how much grief Dustin will actually catch now that he's over there.

I was a rebelscum member (under a different name) for nearly 5 years. In that time, I have come across Philip's "unique" way of interacting with customers and forum members. I've felt that things were shady over there for some time, but this Dustin thing was the final straw for me. The way he "ran" the campaign, then the way he handled the legitimate criticism of that campaign, was enough for me.

I foresee this place as being my new collecting home

I will never pull up rebelscum.com on my comptuers ever again.

I only have three so far. Only found three in a store despite seeing the rest of the Tatooine wave countless times in huge quantities.

I removed the pauldron from one of them, and didn't use the GooGone on it. To me, it can pass as an Endor Stormtrooper. I think the weathering present on the trooper could pass for that you'd find in a forest somewhere, such asn Endor.

I have two for my Tatooine display and want one more for my Endor display. Four army builders is all the space I have.

It's interesting that Hasbro would release an off-color airborne trooper before the one we saw on the screen.

Either way, I think the purple clones are sweet. They will look good next to the other EU Clones/Stormtroopers.

I wonder how it is possible so many people couldn't get pages to load and actually purchase the figure, only to have that figure magically sell out.

You'd think if so many people couldn't get in, that they wouldn't sell out so quickly, right?

Then again, this is Hasbro we're talking about...
