eBay refunded my money. Well, it was worth the shot I guess.

Have you had any contact with the person yet?

I sent him a message asking about the shipping dates. The listing claimed it would be delivered next week while Sideshow said they wouldn't even ship until Feb/March. I never heard back. I then checked the listing to see how many more he sold as he had 10 available. That is when I found "This listing (191475186980) has been removed, or this item is not available." I started the resolution process with Ebay. Argh. I should have known better, in fact I knew better, but still had to take a shot.

$14.29 is an appropriate price for the 6" line.

The figure is not shipping from Sideshow until Feb/March. This listing has it delivered by mid man. I might as well get those dispute forms ready.

Seems too good to be true to me. Seller has no feedback in the last 12 months either. That being said, if it's a scam you should be able to get your money back. Might be worth the risk..........

Yikes and no feedback as a seller. I will update as I get more info. I paid with PayPal so I feel somewhat safe.

Could you guys give me your opinion on this? Also, some of you might want to jump on this as well.

The Hot Toys Iron Man 3 Igor figure caught my eye. At $500+  at the Sideshow website, I never thought I would own one. I then saw the following listing:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/191475186980

I am not sure if the seller made a mistake. Maybe he meant $100 to be the opening bid? Maybe not. He has 9 more available. Maybe I am missing something? I was initially worried that the seller intended the $100 to be a deposit or something. What do you guys think? Just a really good deal?

Very mild spoilers:

The good

-To me, this movie was Superman, Superman II, Smallville, and Star Trek II The Wrath of Kahn all rolled into one.
-The actors are very good
-The story is fresh
-For the most part, the CG is very good. Almost makes you wish the prequels came a decade later

The bad

-Snyder uses digital stunt doubles - a lot. I hate that. It doesn't blend in particularly well.
-Not necessarily MOS' fault but we see yet another big city destroyed and a huge alien ship crash into skyscrapers. After Transformers 3 and The Avengers, among others, it's a bit tired.

For me, MOS was very good. Going in, because of the hype on twitter, I was expecting a masterpiece. Definitely worth seeing with an audience in a theater.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Just read this article that Latino Review is reporting that Harrison Ford is "in" for Episode 7:

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JakeLester/news/?a=74331

Cool!  I don't see how they can avoid getting Luke/Han/Leia into E7 at least, so great to here progress on getting the original actors.  Of course, I'm not sure the "Latino Review" is where I'd expect to find breaking news on Harrison Ford or Star Wars...

El Mayimbe is pretty spot on in everything he posts. Latino Review is pretty good at confirming stories before posting. They are well respected.

Star Wars Universe / Re: Star Wars Movie Spin-Offs?

I am not against stand alone movies. I am quite for them actually. But if the recent arc on the CW showed us anything, there is a TON of excitement in SW where we don't know the endgame for the characters involved. Other than Palpatine, we didn't know what was to become of Maul, Savage, Vizla, etc. It was downright exciting. No matter how creative or well written the story is for a Yoda movie, we know he is going to live. I guess that is probably true in most movies though.

Any significance to the Mando soldier with the horns on his helmet?

Filoni has mentioned in different interviews that they have been producing season six for some time now. Whether it airs is another story but they are being made at the very least.

My only complaints are that the force powers slid into superhero territory. Elevating and choking seemed go be pushing it.

My only other complaint is that this storyline could have taken up well over six episodes. Great stuff but rushed.
