Really nice Matt! Moving up to the big leagues are we? Does this mean you have a bounty hunter set on the way?

I believe the 1-10000 refers to the total which includes those randomly inserted in the new larger Lego sets at retail. Has anyone gotten one that way? It sure is gold on e-bay. Anywhere from 150.00-200.00. I love Legos but for a 2 inch plastic figure? No way those will go up in value if you buy one at 200.00. What kind of disposable income does it take to buy 1 of those? Tons of bidders too!

HasbroToyShop.com has (I think) everything that has been out for 6.99 plus shipping. In the past they had the newest figures at 4.99. It's all plus shipping but you can use the new discount code for 10.00 off 50.00. In the store for me they go quick at first but do tend to hang after they restock a few times and it seems the cases are a good mix of old and new. Today at Walmart I saw the Durge 2-pac just went up along with both the clear and black Emperor 2-pacs. Not at all like trying to find a Mcwhatever!!!

Thanks a lot for the update! I'm glad to see Lego hasn't given up on the Franchise stuff. I know it's not their core type stuff but I really enjoy the specific sets...SpongeBob, Batman, Star Wars. Wish they had gotten TMNT

Just a note for anyone who might have missed it. Lego has the Lic. for the new Indiana Jones movie! I can't imagine how much money I will need to save for these sets. What if they go back and release sets from each of the 3 previous films also. A Sean Connery mini-figure! The possibilities are endless.

My Wal-mart in Wis. must have 40 of the Vader with coin album. All still at full price. Have those disappeared from elsewhere?

Hi! I saw a bunch of UGH Snowtroopers at Wal-mart this morning. Are these the ones you want 8 of ? If so do you want me to go back and get some? I think they were 9.98 each?  I live in Wisconsin so don"t know about shipping to where-ever you are.

LEGO / Re: Celebration IV Exclusive Mini-Figs Set
« on: June 5, 2007, 09:20 AM »
That is really a nice set! Am I right in thinking it comes in a plexiglass display case or is that just thin clear packaging? It's a shame they don't make cool sets like that available to the general collector. Yeah , I know about the Hasbro lic. for figures....still, even with the ton of money I have put into Legos, $50.00 - $150.00 is out of control. Any chance they put some up at Shop-at-Home like Hasbro did with some of their exclusives?
Another thought would be selling those type of mini-figure display cases? I think alot of collectors would jump at a case made specifically for Lego mini-figures!

I stopped at Wal-mart in Madison, WI. this morning and arranged the pegs. Wasn't too hard...5-Obi"s and 6 R2-D2. No sign of Wave 2. With 11 figures still on the pegs it may be awhile before they hang more.

No sign of the new wave around Madison , WI.  and I check Wal-mart and Target a couple times a week looking for McStormmie.

I stopped at my local Wal-mart this morning at 7:00am, like I have almost every weekday morning for the last month trying to get a McQuarrie. They had 37 TAC wave 1 figures up on the pegs. 2 SBD, 4 Airborn... but no McQuarrie. I figure they must have put up at least 4 cases of figures? I'm pretty down right now with Hasbro still packing him at 1 per case and now wave2 starting to show. I've read all the discussion about waiting and they will show up but I no longer agree. I think he will remain almost impossible to find and the McQuarrie figures in the next wave will be worse to find as this spirals downward. I sure hope I'm wrong but thinks look dark at this point.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 30th Anniversary Cards?

I haven't seen any at retail yet so I'm wondering...will these new cards fit in a Pro-Tech Star case? There are now 4 different star cases so does anyone know which star case? I'm really hoping to find some of these and would like to get some star cases ready. I know...being a non-opener is a disease! Thanks.

Really nice pictures. I have collected HW on and off for years also. Mostly all the competition has turned me off. Too many people lined up at Target before it opens. I'm not an expert but I believe this year there are more TH. because there are 2 types now. The regular and a Super treasure hunt. I don't think the packaging is any different (haven't seen a TH this year) but the super has the real rider soft tires and different wheels. Maybe a close look at some of your doubles will show a difference.
A note on the Batmobile line the new 1966 model is out which looks really awesome (at least in the pix) and there is a 5 pac from Batman Begins with that flat black stealth Hummer Batmobile that is way cool.
A good site for news is HotWheelsCollectors.com. It's message boards are huge.
