I received the Rebel Pilots II set from HTS today.  I think that the Keyan Farlander figure might be one of my favorites of the year.  Just something nice about seeing that red flight suit again.  Is this it for the Evolutions sets until Spring now?  I didn't think we had heard of anything else (other than the Imperial Pilots Set variants coming next year).

Isnt there supposed to be a c3po set aswell?

On the side note I have still yet to see rebel v2 however my sister left for Disney world today and she said she will try to find it for me there

Woot! TRU Can is having a sale on their figures until The 16th. $5.97 for all basic figures (legends,legacy and clone). I am just happy I kept my receipt cause I just called and they said they will do a price adjust without the product for me today Now I just hope I can find the rebel V2 set that was reported being spotted at that TRU.

On another note I am very surprised to see that the AT-Te is selling at $5 less than in the states at WM yet it is being sold for $130 at zellers. Price for this years items are so messed up. TRU vehicles go for $30. Yet at WM they are $27 but at sears (the place that never gets SW stuff anymore unless its the holiday season) is selling them for $25, although I have only seen the clone helmets at sears anyways.

Was finally able to pick up 2 of the TAC figures I needed at a local comic shop. While going to another I was able to find the all so rare (anywhere besides Japan that is) Gundam figures. I only bought the LaGOWE because it was A. Cheap and B. the only one from the Gundam Seed series. I wanted to buy the Destiny mobile suit but that one was $16.99. Its a great series but they are very hard to get and very expensive for the main characters mobile suits. I might pick up the Destiny the next time I go. Besides they have been at that shop for a year now. When I went last year they had 3 of these Gundam figures and since then I have picked up to of them. Only one left to go lol.


edit august22****picked up a ton of figures in Buffalo at a way cheaper price. heck I was surprised to find wave 3. only thing that sucks is now after I find the quad cannon clone it will be even longer till something new arrives up here
next stop Fan Expo....it will be expensive for sure.

ok so are these figures coming out this month or in november? Because like smartsoccer up above mentioned comic con gave an august release date to these BP yet I remember reading somewhere else it comes out in november.

anyone catch Lucius Fox's comment regarding the new batsuit? something along the lines of how it can handle a cat? was that foreshadowing or a stupid joke?

in any case, it seems like the whole Selina Kyle thing is wide open for the next movie. i'd be glad to see that.

oh, and it was a good movie.

The real question is did anyone catch what the joker said to the bank manager after putting a smoke grenade into his mouth? something along the lines of "what doesnt kill you only makes you stranger" Then take into consideration that the manager was played by a fairly famous actor (william fichtner) who hides behind a gun and gets shot in the leg which might mean he would require a cane to help him walk when he heals. Only hint they didnt give us was a riddle

Picked up one more animated Battle droid and Clone trooper.

Id like to think of this as episode 2.5.

All the Clone wars figures I bought were 1st day. It doesnt really matter cause I ended up opening them all but when me and my friend were at TRU we noticed 1 guy grabbing every single one he could see into his cart so we stood beside him and grabbed the ones we needed and boy did he look pissed. He ended up following us around staring at our cart. It was funny, he eventually left once he realized we were indeed buying them but the fact that he was so desperate to get all of these make us laugh. And the reason why we knew he was indeed a scalper was..well what kind of collector would buy 10+ of each figure. ie ani,obi,yoda...
