Jocasta's Reading Room / Re: SW: Visionaries EU or Infinities?
« on: September 13, 2006, 02:32 PM »
with all the stuff they've been retconning lately i wouldn't be surprised if the grevious story becomes canon, but the maul is too kool for them to retcon, it'll never happen.

Jocasta's Reading Room / Re: Legacy Novels
« on: September 13, 2006, 02:30 PM »
not really, i think we only haft to take half of what Lumiya says as truth, its quite frankly the return of the sith. Lumiya was always a hothead and i guess she finnally learned to chill out and think up a plot. or so were to believe. but Jacen turning to the dark side seems natural to me,but i really hope he turns out to be Darth Krayt.

yeah i've only read three njo books and i consider them the best ones, i know what happens in the rest and these three are the most eventful and best reads:

Vector Prime-Star by Star-The Unifying Force

as for after the njo, everything is cool:
Dark Nest Trilogy:the joiner king, the unseen queen, the swarm war.

Legacy of the Force: Betrayal,Bloodlines,etc....

in a lot of ways i think were more creative than movie makers and in a lot of ways we clearly are storytellers without the connections to get our storys out there in that meduim.
it is pretty sad that this form of media has no recoginition, but i really think you guys should do what i've done and start your own fanon pedia pages, were all full of storys that no one really knows or can gather from the pn's. if anything we might just gain some sort of following good or bad.

but yes comments are the main reason for posting, we want to know what everyone thinks about what we've done. its the only form of encouragment we can get for doing this. it makes us feel that there is interest in the storys were telling.

anyone think we'll get duel with a Dark lady, but hopefully not in eighties neon colors? i'd buy one and repaint it if need be for a lumiya.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 'Scum's 2007 report... Oh my!
« on: September 13, 2006, 11:28 AM »
last i heard the vong had been pushed ahead by hasbro, and ofcourse received the "what is that" comment from the eu haters so they could respond when told about it with "thats stupid", and most if not all of that list on rebelscum is bull. quite frankly were probably gonna get another repack collection. if not cool.

The Original Trilogy / Re: Holy Trilogy on DVD!
« on: September 13, 2006, 11:18 AM »
i will never understand the need to have these versions on dvd, but atleast you guys can quit whining about it. if anything i can be extremely pleased to not ever haft to see a message board devoted to complaining about "improvements" made to films that diden't age very well. well atleast you guys finnally got your way, if anything thats great.

but one quick question, what will be the future gimmick for rehashing the films on dvd? first time on hd dvd, then you guys haft to whine for the unaltered trilogy on hd, then another format? or will there be a prequel trilogy special edtion to create the new wanted unaltered hd versions? much like the action figures rehashing became sad long ago, any thoughts?

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Episode 3 Flubs
« on: September 13, 2006, 11:11 AM »
personally most of that stuff can be looked past, but i really wish they could have made it clearier that obi-wan slashed anakin's lungs, because he actually does if you look and listen to his rasping its hard to watch after you've noticed it.

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: ROTS DVD Review
« on: September 13, 2006, 11:05 AM »
disc two never had a chance nothing tops revenge of the sith, nothing.

but on a side note, bloopers would have been great, i think i'd buy a new copy just for bloopers. ep 1 and ep2 bloopers are awesome why no sith bloopers are we supposed to believe there wern't any? i mean we know threepio hit the deck atleast once and i doubt hayden was able to not fall down at least seven times.....

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: Top 25 Worst Sequels Ever Made
« on: September 13, 2006, 11:02 AM »
what a bunch of whoy, TPM is a great film when compared to half of what is considered by the masses to be "Great". for instance i diden't see pirates 2 but i read the spoilers and my god it sounds retarded and it made all that friggin money. and is considered great because guys are being forced into taking their girls to drool over those guys apparently over and over again. pretty sad, i mean titanics the same story, and return of the king had the two towers before it.

The Prequel Trilogy / Re: So, Are You Happy with the Prequel Trilogy?
« on: September 13, 2006, 10:55 AM »
first off i gotta say my opinion has changed many times on this subject, but having just recently watched all three prequels on dvd.starwars.com i'm extremely happy with them. i'm the type whom was generally forced into agreeing to disagree with everyone over TPM & AOTC. but since ROTS i feel that those two are validated and actually quite good in the long run, and there was a time when i loved lotr trilogy over prequels but have within the last year practically lost all interest in Rings. (there was a sad time when my wife and i only owned the entire extended trilogy, so they got played it out.)

but i have still yet to watch all six in a row, i've tried. but the days aren't long enough.
another reason i've come to enjoy this trilogy more, is the expanded universe which sadly i haft to say without it my interest in starwars wouldn't be half as strong.

i've finnally made it through the prequels on dvd.starwars.com, not really worth the effort but atleast the feature can work, but the original trilogy dvds only have script to screen, which is kinda annoying? so did they they ever have the depth commentary or did they cheap out? or is it the fact that i got the trilogy set that came out last year sans disc four.

Photonovels and Movies / Re: Episode VII: A DARK FACADE
« on: August 29, 2006, 05:04 PM »
hey everybody, guess whose computer took a dump on friday and had to be reformated?

anyways i've lost everything except for what you see here. and i've started recollecting all the background images needed to pick up where i left off.  one major change will be a approach to this project , i'll be only focusing one episode at a time instead all three at once and i'll be shooting in sequence.

in the meantime i've started making pages about my trilogy on "Star Wars Fanon" the wiki dedicated to fanon. feel free to contribute anything you've gathered so far about my trilogy.

its nice to see you guys are able to discuss your flat dislike for hasbro's repaking powers, over at rebelscum they'd wanna burn you at the stake for bagging on hasbro. i'm wondering if half those guys work for hasbro.  i guess i'm banned over there, but i'm not sad about it, those ppl are pricks. you guys are kool...
