Beautiful work!  Nice solid construction.  Good weathering.  Nice use of soft goods, so they don't look too bulky.   The diorama pulls it all together too.  Kudos!

It'd be nice to see Leia's '42 equivalent, too. These are awesome, as I stated before, but it's nice to keep coming back and looking at these!

I'm picturing maybe something akin to a "Rosie the Riveter" poster?

For that picture where it looks like Han is reading a blueprint, you should put a couple little sawhorses in the backgrouond and add a hammer to his belt. :)

Seriously - this is an awesome project.  It really looks like a labor of love.

Wow - that looks like a ton of work went into it.  Interesting concept to mix customs with digital environments.

That picture of Sidious sitting on his throne with the bare knees cracks me up.

I realize these are prototype images yet.  But... is it just me, or does it look like they just used Indiana Jones legs & feet for the Weequay?

It's the way the vest is hanging open on it, it's too wide at the bottom.  Plus it was designed for Lando's poofier arms/sleeves.  Plus Han would never be dorky enough to wear his collar over the top of his vest like Lando...

I agree on the vest.  When I made mine, I cut downt he collar quite a bit.  It's just hidden behind the mendal.

Yes, Steve. You should just go and work for Hasbro. You'd do a better job at it. heck, there are a few people on here that do awesome jobs at customing.

I spent some time at CV hanging around their booth dreaming about their jobs... :)

Couldn't Han be 'improved' by using Smuggler Lando's torso? His shirt's buttoned up.

Oh, you mean like this?  :)

After looking at the figures in this wave, I can honestly say it'll be good to take a wave off.

Star Wars Dioramas and Displays / Re: Failure in the Cave

Awesome once again.  I don't recall the tunnel structure at one end of the cave.  I'll have to go back and watch that.  Is that presumably part of the ship from the ark Jedi who crashed on Dabobah?

That is very cool.  There can't be too many sets your missing?

Beautiful work as usual!!  Nice use of the WWII era tools (flashlights, entrenching tools, etc.)

That's really cool so far.  Be sure to show the 100% complete image.

I entered an idea for a 'toy customizing' panel at CONvergence, our big local sci-fi & fantasy convention in Minneapolis, in July.  It got enough panelists to make the cut, so we're on.

I'm planning on bringing some of my work to display and discuss the following:

•What to build - planning a custom vs. building one from leftover fodder
•Parts (fodder) - what to look for, where to get it
•Disassembly & assembly - tips & techniques
•Painting - primary coats, weathering, etc.
•Accessories
•Vehicles, props, etc.

Any other ideas on what info. folks might like to share?

That is really a lot of nice work.  Do the octogon blast doors really work?
