The only store that's putting a time limit on things right now is TRU I believe...  Target, WM, and K-Mart just require a receipt to get back what you paid, and Wal-Mart may not even require that at ALL stores.  I've returned things with just a sad story about my receipt getting lost and got back full price...  Not that I got them on sale to rip them off of course, I just didn't have a receipt for something I am sure I couldn't afford and didn't need so I wanted the $ back.

A good truck too.

If that's a butt zipper on her pants, that's hot.

I may actually try for Park's autograph actually.  A Maul auto would be sorta cool.  I have Vader so his would look nice alongside it...

But then I'm gonna want Lee's and McDiarmid's, haha, and I'm sure neither signs much.

JD Sports Forum! / Re: NHL 2005-2006 Thread

It's more his health than anything I think.  He's a real family guy...  I think his eratic heart beat has him concerned and that he's more interested in getting control of the team from off the ice because he's said he can't do both effectively, and obviously nobody else can get control of the team for him, so it's probably for the best.

The guy was among the top scorers when he was playing early this season...  He can play with the best of them still, so it's definitely not that he's needing to retire I think, but it is more that he's just wanting to do this for his own health and well being.  I respect that, and he has said it's guys like Crosby that are going to be the spokespeople for the NHL now...  Not him.  I like that just fine.  :)  I'll forever wear my Lemieux Jersey though...  That'll be the jersey I most cherish in my wardrobe and the reminder of why I played the game myself.

Yeah I'd like to see the scultp maybe used for Han and altered for a slightly shorter Luke at some point, that's a good point Spuffy.  They're two needed figures, I just hope Hasbro isn't shorting this figure since it's a mail-away and taking teh cheap route on it so it's more or less a statue.

IF they're re-using it, and that's a big IF because they're weird like that, I'd hate a non-poseable Han or Luke in Stormie gear...  Much needed resculpts from the POTF2 era though.

Yeah, I'm a little happier/relieved about this...  Sucks for carded guys though bigtime.

Plus I think a Lucas Stormtrooper is about as stupid as it gets.  I could buy him as a pilot, it was kinda cool, but the Stormtrooper thing just appears quite boneheaded to me.

I don't know if this has been added to the thread yet, or not, but. . .

Click the pic for more. . .  if you dare.

So I went into that site...  Is that John Gotti's kid?  I was missing the facts behind that, however I did find this picture among the "originals" file and let me just say that this has the most photoshop potential for hilarity out of any on that list, I'm sorry.

Welcome aboard Darth Nuch...  I'm wagering you're a Pittsburgher as well?  Well so am I...

This is does tend to be more adult oriented around these parts but we like all new people so we're glad to have you come by.  Nirvana's been a good addition.  I didn't even realize his age for a while (explains why he can't meet up with the local collecting group for a beer when we have our meetings).

Enjoy the site...  You'll get the hang of forums eventually.

I have an Ephant on a damaged card here that I couldn't trade away and basically wondered what I could do with it too.  I've brainstormed and come up with nothing.

Short of adding a new head from another toy line, I'm stumped.

I can't even think of a species his form closely matches.

Having picked up the Jedi Fighters on clearance now, and now knowing theyr'e actually spot-on scale, I'm all for these re-releasing.  I'd dig the TRU ones as I passed on them due to cost at the time, short of the figures...  I'd just like the ships of course.

I'd also like Mace Windu's and Sae Sae Tinn's from Clone Wars...  I'd also take some paint schemes Hasbro dreams up if they wanted to.  I'd even take a Jedi Fighter with a Clone Pilot (plausible) as a squadron mate for some Jedi.

Imperial uniform colors varied some by the films, but in general the Tarkin outfit was a LOT greyer than the films will lead you to believe (having seen recent photos of it), and the ESB Imperial officer uniforms aren't too different in color from Tarkin's or Motti's in ANH.  Ozzel and Veers should match perfectly (as should Piett) however none of the 3 seem to.  Veers is the closest to perfect that I've seen...  Motti's not too bad.

All the other Imperial Officers are off to some degree.  Ozzel's the worst of the lot in uniform color.

If the trash compactors had had walls and a roof, they'd be perfect I think...  Something one could have built off of and integrated into a larger diorama or great stand-alone items.  They were more or less just a base in pretty packaging, but the idea's there at least...

Still though, that "base" in pretty packaging was pretty expensive...  Makes one wonder again just what a small item that was more than that would come in at.  Hasbro seems incapable or unwilling to work on bigger ticket items for value.
