Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Gas Prices
« on: March 2, 2007, 09:05 PM »
WTFreak!  I just filled up and paid way too much.  Regular was $2.83/gallon.  91 Octane was $3.03/gallon.  Sigh, here we go again upity up!

I should've done the same thing, but only ordered the TIE and JSF.  Feeling not so good now.   :(

Here are the TRU listings:

Star Wars Titanium Vehicle TIE Fighter
Star Wars Titanium Vehicle JediStarfighter
Star Wars Titanium Vehicle Republic Gunship
Star Wars Titanium Vehicle X-Wing

I have heard from a source that they should definitely start shipping next month... no pics yet though.

The pics are up now!

The gunship is the "tiger shark" version.  The JSF is Anakin's Yellow version.  The new TIE fighter and repainted X-Wing looks OK.

I completed my first transaction with Robb.  Always a nice experience when working with an established member of the forums.  The transaction was smooth, and I won't hesitate to work with Robb again in the future.  Thanks!

I'm excited about the animation release.  Nice depiction of Yoda on the poster.  I really liked the CW volumes.  I would have liked them more probably if they were longer.

I met JediMAC today and completed my first trade with him.  As proven by his feedback thread, this guy is first rate.  He gave me an awesome deal on some figures and sets I was missing in my collection.  And I do mean AWESOME DEAL.  I hope this is the first of many transactions.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND.  Thanks a bunch!

I met Darth_Anton in person and completed my 1st trade with him today. What a nice guy and a wonderful asset to the collector community. He hooked me up with a couple of figures I really wanted in my collection. I would not hesitate to work with Darth_Anton in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 30AC Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter

Yup, I think so too, and I'm kinda waiting to buy this so I can spread out my SW purchases a bit.  I still haven't seen this fighter at the stores I go to, but that's ok.  I still need to purchase the mace and sith SFs as well.

Yeah....a similar thing happened last season when Apollo was on a self destructive binge and they spent quite a few episodes developing his character.  I thought they were the weakest episodes of the season and really slowed the pace of the story down.

Yeah, I hope they pick up the pace soon.  For some reason, this reminds me of X Files when I was a younger.  They had some really good episodes and then the plots started to be weak and somewhat repetitive.  The episodes became not as interesting.  I kinda lost interest every week to want to see the show.  I'm by no means comparing BSG to X Files because BSG is a WAY better, but the show is beginning to slowly remind me of that.  It's probably just this part of the season.  Hopefully, it'll pick up soon, and anyways, it's gotta cause someone's leaving the show!

That's amazing, wish I could understand the language.  I wonder if there were any remains, if they would've lasted that long in the mud anyway.
I was wondering the same thing.  May be it got stuck and the tank was just abandoned.

Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

Hi Justin, Welcome to JD.  I just joined not too long ago and am pretty new here too.  So far, I've like it here a lot, and everyone's great.  Hope you enjoy!  Very cute kids!  --King

I didn't connect those dots either Jesse... despite going halves on Banthas with Paul, it didn't occur to me that this would be a perfect opportunity to try to get deals on the repainted vehicles that I've been passing on - Hailfire... Droid Tank... Vader's Starfighter etc...

Rob, I think you could have only gotten the BOGO deal on the repainted midsize vehicles at brick and mortar TRUs.  I checked online early Sunday morning and the only midsize vehicles they had online were the non-exclusive ROTS JSFs.  They also had the large wing TIE, Clone Wars gunship, and Dagobah X-Wing.  There were no Saesee Tiin's, Darth Vader Sith JSFs, or Hailfire and Droid Tank...  So you probably didn't miss out on those online unless they became available later.
