Collections / Re: Commander Apoc's collection

I think the Episode 2 Obi JSF was released twice during the Saga days, one by itself and again as a Kaybee exclusive which also came with the Obi-Wan Light Saber Attack figure.  I'm pretty sure the ship was the same though.  I'm still having a tough time tracking down the TRU exclusive ROTS JSFs.  I know what you mean you win some and you also lose some.  Lately, I've been mostly losing and not bidding.  I still haven't purchased the latest 2 Episode 3 starfighters (Mace, Sith) and Saesee Tiin's due to lack of funds.    :)

I didn't see it, but I looked it up.  I think this is what you guys are referring to.  Very impressive.

Nice Comm. Apoc.  Are all 4 of the Obi-Wan JSFs for Episode 2 the same?  I was wondering if there was a difference between the KBee exclusive and the normal one (I didn't think so but wasn't certain).   Was wondering if you had done any customizing with them?

Adding the CW's, Kit Fisto's, Saesee Tiin's, the 2 TRU Exclusive, and the ROTS Anakin Yello JSFs will pretty much complete your Hasbro midsize JSF vehicle collection!  That's where I'm trying to get!

That'll be an $18 + tax savings for me if I decide to get them all.  Any savings on SW stuff is welcomed by me.

The others seem to be peg warming already.

Did you doubt it ! ?? ! lol.

Yeah, some of these figures look pretty crappy.  What do we call that - the Hasbro effect?    :-X

Here are pics of some cute and sexy BSG items taken at the 2007 UK Toy Fair.  They're from Diamond Select and "Some Items Subject to Final Approval".

It will be I, II, III, IV, V, VI.

Great, so after viewing TPM, they'll refuse to watch the remaining five.

Not necessarily, the attitude I'd like to take is The Best Is Yet To Come!

That's interesting that you pose this question because I was just asked that very thing last night by my cousin.  She was at Target and was interested in buying a SW DVD for her son who is turning 7 next weekend.  She wanted to know whether to buy the OT or PT series movies first.  I don't have any children, but my thoughts to her were to show the movies in chronological order but to explain that the OT movies were made first.  That way he'll see how it all started and eventually ended.  I'm not sure how long one should wait to show the next episode.  I think that if he enjoys the first movie, he'd probably be eager to view the next.  Again, this is coming from someone who does not have kids, so I may have it all wrong (but who is a kid himself! :)).

I'm sure your son will enjoy Star Wars regardless how you show it to him!  Have fun!

In my area, the new Hasbro MLs are pretty much at all the stores I go to.  Iron Man and Hulk are the 2 that I usually don't see hanging on the pegs.  The others seem to be peg warming already.

I just completed my first trade with Greg over at RS, and it was definitely a great experience. Greg is a great guy, always in great communication, and packed all items very nicely. The items shipped quickly and were as described. He also threw in some bonuses. I would not hesitate to trade with him again. This was my first ever trade, and I hope they all go this well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Just filled up at Costco a couple of days ago for $2.31/gallon (87 unleaded).  That's the lowest I think I've paid in a while in LA area.
