Still interesting that everyone walks everywhere.

I thought the same thing - especially the blue guy walking across the desert.  It was bad ass when he walked into town, but a little silly when he left with no ride.

Love all the new/returning characters brought to life in this episode!  They've done a really good job tying in characters from all over the SW universe to give it that cohesive feel.

I did not like the choice presented to Grogu at the end though.  I understand the symbolism, but why can't he have both things?  Obi-Wan wore armor during the Clone Wars. Doesn't Shaak Ti wear Togruta jewelry, cloths, and body paint?  I thought it was kind of silly to make him choose in that way.

Have any of these shipped out to people?  Did they get a smaller number than expected, or none of these?

This order has been a mess for me.  Half was fulfilled months ago and then my credit card expired and GameStop wasn't able to change my credit card so I had to cancel the other half of the order that included the Nightbrother and place a new order.  So I'm sure I went from the front of the queue to the back of the queue if there are limited quantities, although my order hasn't been cancelled.

This is actually one of the few Gaming Greats figures I'm excited about because of how different it is.

My order is a mess as well.  I ordered six BS figures in this order, including the Nightbrother, Armorer, Jump Trooper, 501st, Carbonized Greef, and Archive Leia.  Greef and Leia arrived separately, but I'm still waiting on the other four with no news or timing on any of them.  There is no indication my order is cancelled or that they can't fulfill the Nightbrother, but I'm obviously getting concerned with so many people getting cancellations.  Anyone else still have one on order that has NOT been cancelled?  I'd be curious to know if they started cancellations with single figure orders, as those would be easier to cancel and refund than breaking apart orders for multiple figures like mine.

Haha!  Of course its delayed.  Over priced, similar to previous offerings, not screen accurate, exclusive, not enough accessories, and now...delayed.

In Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Targets, I never saw this on the shelf and never saw a shelf tag for it.  I got mine via ship to store.

I'm really surprised this never hit in reasonable numbers ahead of Christmas.

Ditto.  Same thing with the wave 2 Holiday themed Black Series figures - I haven't heard of anyone finding those locally.

I have a contact that buys Disney stuff and resells for a 20% mark up.  So my droids came to about $21 each with shipping (I bought 8 of them).  A bit more steep than the $15 tag, but a lot cheaper than Ebay or flying to the park myself.  I just hope they're in ample supply so I can get the full set.  I do think we'll see more - I thought I saw a post somewhere about another wave of them coming out in little sandcrawler crates.

Oh yeah, at that small a mark up I'd do it and be done as well.

Are these available at any Disney stores in Orlando that don't require theme park tickets?  I'll be near Orlando in February, but am not going to Disney...

Are they sold at the Galactic Outpost in Disney Springs?  Or just limited to Galaxy's Edge stores?  I'll try to find out.

Disney did a Sandcrawler blind-box series of mini-droids a couple years back.  They were way smaller than 3.75" scale, so I skipped them.  I guess I could see them recycling the Sandcrawler idea again if they do go back to this well.

That must be what I saw.  Glad its not something new as I was hoping these mystery crates would be around for a while!

$15 is a little steep for these droids, I'll admit.

At this point I'd happily pay $15 each.  Seems like the only way to get them if you can't get to the park is to pay $30 to $45 each.

I'm also concerned that this is going to be regular occurrence.  New waves every 6 or 12 months...

I've got all of these except for C1-4B.  From what I can tell it seems to be the most scarce of the bunch, at least on eBay.  As for the droids I have?  They're nice - the paint deco on S3-R9 and JB-9 are fantastic!  But with the BB droids there is all of one point of articulation and the weeble-wobbling action feature.  I don't know that collectors are getting tremendous value here, aside from the whole Disney playing on the whole blind box phenomenon that's hot in the toy business right now.

Do you have any extras to trade?  I'm hoping to score some more of these, but sounds like they're currently out of stock.

$15 is a little steep for these droids, I'll admit.  The droid itself should probably be more like $6-7 with today's prices.  I'm willing to bump that up to $10 with the crate it comes in - those are almost as appealing as the droid for me.  Add in that the bases connect and they double as a figure stand and have a sticker - I'll bite for a few more bucks.  So if these were $12ish at retail, I'd expect to pay the Disney Park markup of $15 for them.  I think the build-a-droid figures were $13 or 2 for $20, so not too far off the mark from those either.

For me, $90 retail or a little further over $100 to get a set of 6 with crates is tolerable.  If these were a set of 12 and I was looking at $200 just for 12 random crates that could contain doubles, then I'm probably out, but I'm still in the game for now.

Well, I got my package of these from my Disney connection today.  He was able to snag 8 of them, so I was hoping for at least 4 different ones.  Out of the eight, I only nabbed 3 different versions. Kind of a bummer, but these are still really cool.  Anyone looking to trade doubles on these?  Here's what I have:

2x B5-SL (Blue BB)
2x C1-4B (Chopper)
4x S3-R9 (Grey Astromech)

Looking for:

CH-83 (Yellow BB)
G4-S8 (Green Astromech)
JB-9 (Yellow BB)

I'm not sure it moved the plot of TBOBF forward in any way, but it sure is setting up The Mandalorian Season 3.

Not only setting up The Mandalorian Season 3, but maybe other shows as well....  makes me wonder if all those "pre-Empire,Galactic Republic" ship parts ended up on Tatooine thanks to whatever is gonna happen in Kenobi?

Ooooo!  I like that idea.  I thought Tatooine was supposed to be a really remote, untraveled location from the OT.  It seems like the hub of the universe between Luke, Kenobi, Boba, Mando, the Pykes, the Hutts, etc. A tie in to Kenobi would be a nice link - that's one of the things I love so much about all the Marvel stuff is the small connections that make it seem cohesive.

I'm also not clear on why Din didn't tell the Armorer or Paz about the other Mandos - they seemed to think they were the only ones left.  It felt kind of weird that he rejoined them for a few hours just to leave again.  Certain scenes like Mando having to unload all his weapons before boarding seem odd to me - if nothing's going to happen to them, then we didn't really need to belabor that.  When I recap my travels, I generally don't spend a lot of time talking about how I made it through airport security with no issues.

I really liked the episode overall despite the lack of Boba.  Kind of slow at times, but it gets Mando to Tatooine with a new ship, brings the mechanic (and R5!) back into the story, lets us know the Armorer and Paz are still out there, and had some great scenes with Mando flying the N-1, the Wheel space station, Darksaber battle, Night of a Thousand Tears, etc.  Weird to have this in the middle of Boba's show, but I liked it as a stand alone episode.  I wonder what other muscle they're going to bring in?  I'd love to see some OT bounty hunters join the cast.

Something insane just happened.

Mythrol and Kuiil just got here, shipped from Pulse, in the same box.

I'm flabbergasted.

I don't understand what you're saying.  They can't fit both figures into one box and mail them at the same time.  Was this maybe a dream or something you saw in a movie?

I got pretty excited a few minutes ago when I saw a shipping notice from HasbroPulse, but it was for my Rebel Fleet Troopers.

Same. Exact. Thing.

The giveaway for me was that I redirected my Crest, but the notice still had my home address on it.

When i get the shipping notice, I'll see if the carrier will allow a re-route to a local facility like FedEx does.

Hope that works for you.  I was able to do that with the Barge and redirect it.  I've had a lot of issues since then with UPS or FedEx offering to change the delivery address in my email, but then when I try to do it online it says "not allowed by shipper."  Walmart is one that never allows consumers to redirect their packages for some reason.

Looks like Amazon is finally starting to fulfill this wave - I got a shipping notice for Kuiil and another alert that my Echo Base Rebel should be shipping soon too.  Hope the others from the wave aren't far behind.

Confirmed - got a shipping notice on just those two figures as well.
