I'm a little shocked at all the complaining about the BAF figures.  If Star Wars had something where you get a free tauntaun or wampa part when you buy each figure, I would be all over that.  Obviously the strategy is to get you to buy everything in the wave to build the BAF.  If there's stuff you wouldn't normally have bought, but you did to get the BAF, then their marketing dept. is doing their job.  ::) This is no different than having to buy one of each vintage style SW figure to get your mail-away Lucas is it?

And yet people whine that they have to get a few extra figs for the BAF.  You know, Hasbro could just stop putting BAF parts in with the reg figs. They'd charge the same price, you'd still get the figures you want, but instead of having a chance to build a BAF you'd have nothing extra.  Then they could make Blob a Target exclusive and charge you $25 for him.  Orrrr, you could just spend a few extra bucks to get the couple of figures you really don't want, use them to make Blob, and get rid of the extra figures on here or Ebay or use them for customs or whatever.

288?

Can you fit that many on an endcap?

Yups..36 per shelf x8 shelves = 288  ;)

He's not kidding.  The Target by my work has one full endcap of these.  I don't think there were 8 shelves, but they were stacked 2-3 high per shelf, all the way to the back.  They're all $5, so I grabbed about 4-5 of each.  Seems cheap, but 30 of them still cost $150 plus tax.  Anyway, I decided to go check out the Action Figure aisle and found two more clearance endcaps with O-66 on them!  Not full endcaps, but about a full shelf on each.  I was almost tempted to put my $5 ones back in the hopes of getting them evencheaper - I don't know how they're going to get through that many figs even at $5.   :o

all of the actors are hit or miss.  especially parkman and mohinder.  yikes.

Parkmans actually one f the better actors. I like that Audrey Hansen FBI character, too, and its nice to see her back. I hope they dont kill her off.

I wouldnt mind seeing Claire go, but DL...thats gonna be a bummer.  :(

I just realized that Im gonna be at the Grand Canyon next week, starting Monday, so Ill miss the finale by mere hours.  :'( Thank God for Tivo!!!   ;D

Your favorite characters are Parkman, Audrey, & DL, but you would be okay with Claire getting bumped off?  What!?  We must be polar opposites.  ::)

Anyone want to save 25% and get free shipping at hasbrotoyshop?  Enter code FNFSPR7 at checkout.  I just used it to order She Hulk, Yellowjacket and Quicksilver.  Total came to just over $23.

I'd imagine it would work on anything.

Thanks for the tip.  I looked thru the SW, T-Formers, and Marvel stuff, but couldn't find a single thing that I wanted in stock.   :-\

Thanks. :)

I was going to buy a dewback from him, but he decided to keep it and there was an Interceptor, but the stickers were peeling up.  He's also got another pile of stuff he's going to bring in sometime that may or may not include an Ewok Village and some other good stuff.

Wow - you never hear about stuff like this these days.  Great catch!  If he has anything left, you should have him post here - I'm sure people would scoop up the rest of the leftovers!

We maxed out at $3.30 in Minneapolis this weekend.  It's down to $3.19 now, which is still ridiculous.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 2007 Star Wars Comic Packs

Yet to see these around Pittsburgh.  We dont' have pegspace for comic packs at ANY store even though...  TRU, Target, KM, WM, they all are devoid of comic pack pegs.  Kinda sucks since, of course, Wave 2 are the best so far and aren't shipping much around here (yet).  A sign of the times with Star Wars it seems.

We don't have peg space for them in Minnesota right now either.  I found them using the DPCI at Target - almost all of the Targets around here have them in the back room, but haven't brought them out because the aisle has yet to be reset.

I thought last night's episode was terrific!  I was a little bothered that they offed so many people in one show, who knows if they're all truly dead.  I was happy to see Ted go - he was sort of a wasted character IMO.  I'm indifferent on Linderman and Eric Roberts - They both died pretty senselessly and its nice to have some bad guys around other than Sylar.  Will be interesting to see who replaces ER at the agency and I'm just not convinced that Linderman is gone.  He's involved in almost every episode - I think it would be a shame if that plot line just vanished.

As for Sylar, I think he'll kill Ando and that will finally drive hiro to slice him.  I don't think that will kill him though - he seems almost as indestructible as Peter despite not having Claire's power.  I think Sylar and Peter will have to face off at some point, but I don't know if that will come next week.  Peter seems fairly indestructible given that he survived the shard of glass through his brain and Future Peter survived the explosion that took out New York.  I don't get why Future Pete had a scar though - if he had the healing factor, then the scar shouldn't have been there.

Definitely looking forward to next week!

Glad to see that this hasn't shown up yet. With all the buying over the last few months, I'm enjoying this little "vacation" from new stuff for a few weeks!

Snagged a Luke/R2 pack at the local Target using the DCPI trick. The box had already been pilfered of the others though. I noticed my Luke has a longer right leg... weird.

Uh...longer than what?  Heh heh ...heh heh.  ;)

Here's the funny part though - Mediacom doesn't make $100 on their varient figs.  They make fewer of them and sell them at essentially the same price as all the other figures via a case price.  Its the folks that resell the rarer piees on the secondary market that make the big bucks on variants.  So what I don't get is, why would Mediacom not just make the same number of all figures and capitalize on selling a lot more of the rarer figs?  Or do you think they keep some of the rare ones and sell them for more money on Ebay?
