Anyone know if this is a "for purchase" product or a freebie when you spend $25 like  TRU has done with past SW Exclusives?

 I liked Jason Bateman's character.

Jason Bateman deserves some kind of award for world's greatest career revival.  He pops up all over the place in supporting roles and is absolutely brilliant in all of them.

I'm with you - I can't think of anything he's done that I haven't liked and he does seem to be everywhere lately.  I have developed a slight man crush on JB.  :-[

I don't agree. I havn't seen one movie related toy line fly off the shelves this summer because of kid demand. Batman, Hulk, Ironman and Indy are all stinking up the pegs around here. I still haven't seen wave 3 or 4 of Indy. The pegs are too full.  The only one that seems to be moving is Speed Racer just because its toy car based. That's the same reason Cars still does well at retail.

If Hasbro over does it (and they will) we won't be able to absorb these without alot of help from the kids. It sounds like alot of us aren't going to help the situation either. I know I'm not. I think we are in the last years folks.

I'm surprised that you have Iron Man figures lining the pegs near you.  Haven't seen the others sell very well, but I live in the land of 1,000 Targets and none of the ones near me have had IM figs for over a month.  The endcap they dedicated was too small and these things old like hot cakes once the movie established itself.  I do think there will be stronger demand for the CW stuff - star wars always sells better than crap like Hulk because it just has that much bigger fan base.

I'm also surprised to read all of these posts and see most people say they will buy the new vehicles.  Wasn't that long ago that Hasbro was frequently stating they could not sculpt new vehicles and expect to make a profit, and here we have a new line where most collectors seem to only be interested inthe new vehicles.  I'm curious to know if times have changed or if Hasbro has always under estimated the demand for these.  Or maybe they just came up with the a few kick butt ideas all at once.  I'm in the vehicle buyer crowd - definitely going to find a way to get the BMF Falcon and at least an AT-TE if not two.

More EU Figs please!!!

Here's my top 15:

CW K'Kruhk (Movie Style)
EU Guri
EU Bastila Shan
EU Jaina Solo (NJO)
EU Jacen Solo (NJO)
EU Corran Horn
E4 Tonnika Sisters Two Pack
E5 Hoth Rebel Soldier (Echo Base)
E1 Ella Sisters
E2 Senator Padme Amidala (Lake Retreat)
E4 Red Leader (Resuclpt)
E5 Torryn Farr
EU Noghri
E3 Cin Drallig
E3 Utai 2-Pack

*EDIT* If these have not been tallied yet, I'd like to change my vote to Lumiya.  Just read "Betrayal" and she would make an excellent figure with her force whip and cyborg body!

Those are sweet looking (other than Abe who looks ridiculous IMO).  Are these roughly Marvel Legends sized?  They actually look a little bigger to me.

You know, at least he figured out she was a complete psycho that was completely incapable of communicating her problems NOW, instead of getting married to her and taking half his assets when she inevitably divorces him. $800 is a small price to pay for figuring that out now.

Did we see the same video?  Pyscho chick, yes, but all they destoryed was a 12" Biker Scout.  That's hardly worth $800.  I think what's disturbing is she feels justified in destroying anything that means something to him because she doesn't have a ring yet. I don't think I'd take any satisfaction in destroying something that means something to my wife no matter how mad I am at her.

Pretty sure he's in Cali - Justin   ;)

I assumed so as well, but figured I would check.  The Pittsburgh guys have been finding stuff early lately as well, so one can always hope its closer to home!

Just saw about 8 of these in a "dump" in the middle of an aisle at a Wal-Mart, with electronic blasters on the other half.  $99.96 a pop for the AT-TE.

What area of the country?

Can't believe you voted for the Question.  Huntress, no contest.

This is the creature from Alien, not Aliens.  In Aliens they were more animal-like in the way they moved (sometimes on all fours, but much of the time not), but in Alien it was upright a good portion of the time you saw it and intended to be more of a humanoid than an animal.

Maybe, but I don't recall seeing it upright like this at all even in Alien.  It was mostly shadowed throughout the movie, without seeing a full picture of it.  They're supposed to be the same aliens (right?), so I would chalk up any humanoid visuals in Alien to lower production budget versus canon on how these things would really look.

Anyway, I didn't want to bag on a cool toy - just not really a fan of the pose, but it is very detailed and cool looking outside of that!

I think you're the only in the MN group that collects Tformers, so if you happen to see any of the birds around, can you let me know?  I'll owe you big!

I haven't even bothered to look at these pegs since I made my returns months ago, but I'll keep you in mind.

Thanks, but you can go back to ignoring the section.  I found two different paint jobs for the birds at SLP on the way home tonight.   ;D

Umm...not a great idea?  What would stop someone from just keeping the coupon, scanning it, and putting it up on the internet for everyone else to use just like this one?  ???

A one day expiration code embedded into the coupon code

And they couldn't just do that via email because...?  ???

Kubricks / Re: Series 9

Well we all better hurry because at those prices they wont last long.  ::)

OMG.  Does anyone ever actually pay over $200 for one Kubie?  That's insane.

Um, anyone that owns Sacul probably fits in that category, so virtually all of the collectors of Kubs that you happen to be asking that question of. ;)  In my defense it is the only Kub I have paid that much for.

Like I said, Insane!  :P

There were some plot points that you could see coming

I'll admit that the premise behind Hancock's origins were a little out there

Some of the action scenes were a little overdone and that's a pet peeve of action, quick cuts, close perspective.  Everything gets mixed up and hard to follow and I really dislike that.

Sooo...what exactly did you like about it?   ;D

If you're not getting Adam Warlock or Union Jack, you're welcome to their pieces, Brent.

Now, who's going to help me get She Hulk's, King Hulk's, Grey Hulk's, Hulk the End's and Skaar's Foom pieces?  :-*

Assuming I can find her, I won't need my She-Hulk piece either.   ;)
