This is the creature from Alien, not Aliens. In Aliens they were more animal-like in the way they moved (sometimes on all fours, but much of the time not), but in Alien it was upright a good portion of the time you saw it and intended to be more of a humanoid than an animal.
I think you're the only in the MN group that collects Tformers, so if you happen to see any of the birds around, can you let me know? I'll owe you big!
I haven't even bothered to look at these pegs since I made my returns months ago, but I'll keep you in mind.
Umm...not a great idea? What would stop someone from just keeping the coupon, scanning it, and putting it up on the internet for everyone else to use just like this one?
A one day expiration code embedded into the coupon code
Well we all better hurry because at those prices they wont last long.
OMG. Does anyone ever actually pay over $200 for one Kubie? That's insane.
Um, anyone that owns Sacul probably fits in that category, so virtually all of the collectors of Kubs that you happen to be asking that question of. In my defense it is the only Kub I have paid that much for.
There were some plot points that you could see coming
I'll admit that the premise behind Hancock's origins were a little out there
Some of the action scenes were a little overdone and that's a pet peeve of mine...fast action, quick cuts, close perspective. Everything gets mixed up and hard to follow and I really dislike that.
If you're not getting Adam Warlock or Union Jack, you're welcome to their pieces, Brent.
Now, who's going to help me get She Hulk's, King Hulk's, Grey Hulk's, Hulk the End's and Skaar's Foom pieces?
The Empire Strikes Back: my math comes up with 6 syllables
Another question for those of you that have purchased these sets already...
Do the R3PO and K3PX figures come apart as build-a-droid figures, or are the joints fixed? If they do break down, do the parts swap with C3PX parts?
I have a suspicion they don't come apart since it hasn't been mentioned, but this would go a long way towards getting me to buy these buggers.
If target wanted to do a promos like this here is what they should have did instead of doing this internet/email thing which is just like low hangen fruit for people that would take advantage of something like this. They should have radomley picked stores throught the chain and have someone at the door handing out coupons like this, kind of like they do at Disneyland with their "dream teams" that hand out goodies at the theme parks.
Kinda lame IMO
Well, its no transformable Stop Light, that's for sure.
Anyone still seeing the "Real Gear Robots" around Target stores? I bought Wire Tap V20 and would like to exchange it for a Night Beat 7 or similar robot (looks like a phone and ear piece/Lazerbeak). I haven't seen these around lately.
Nothing wrong with transformable stoplights Justin. Or phonebooths or Mountain Dew machines for that matter. I've been collecting these things for so long that I welcome an oddball here and there.
I think I've said this before in this thread, but I gave up and returned all my real gear stuff once I found that Hasbro was repainting everything more than twice which is their usual.
Oh - I found the last batch (I think) of TRU movie exclusives over the weekend. Red Energon Cliffjumper and the yellow repainted blue crane guy from Cybertron. Never picked up the original versions as they're very sucky. Even more sucky at $30..
It's a regular basic figure just like any other.
But it's in a fancy plastic case! Surely that's worth double the price of regular figures!
Thankfully Target loves to clearance things. I'll hold out and try to pick him up for 50% off ($6.50ish range) in a few weeks when the clearance starts.... normally I try to support Target's exclusives at full price, but these "twice the price" exclusive figures suck compared to a lot of the other Target exclusives (like the "2 figures for $10" Order 66 sets).
