Other Toy Lines / Re: Transformers

Just an FYI for Transformers fans - Target has some nifty autobot black T-Shirts in the men's section along with all the other printed T's.  I think they're just $10 and some were on clearance this weekend for $7, so if you want a TFormer shirt, might be good to check out.  They also had an Imperial Logo shirt on clearance, but every store I've been to just has Mediums and I need an XL.   :P

How Many Five-Year-Olds Could You Take in a Fight?

Says I can handle 21 of the little buggers.  As the father of a five-year-old myself I know that it'd only take a well-aimed headbutt to take the fight out of me real, real quick.

...and the last couple of questions are so very, very wrong...

Only 15 for me.  I draw the line at using a 5 year old as a weapon against other 5 year olds and/or throwing them.  :o

I would suggest picking up some of the SW comics if you're not already getting them.  The Vector multi-timeline crossover starts in KOTOR this month, so perfect jumping on point for those new the these books.

Anyone finding the new Legends at retail anywhere other than Wal-Mart?

Interesting video, though very one-sided imo.  Anyone have a better summary of the mentioned increase in rates for sellers?  This seems to me like a case of trying to fix something that's not broken - none of the new rules really seem to make sense, or at least the implied benefit to Ebay is not well explained.   :-\  All the same, I can avoid using ebay for a week to help out the cause.

Commander Rex offer is 4 UPC codes and $6.99($7.20 for Canada). Offer ends Dec 31,2008. I'm gonna send off my offer tomorrow. See how soon I get it.

WHAT?!  Its $7 plus four UPCs?  Hasbro you stink.   >:(  Why not just make it an online Exclusive and charge $20?

At least 5, but that was mostly sober.   ;D

I don't think it really is as much of an issue of SciFi airing it or not. The actors are no longer under contract. With the publicity and acclaim all of them have recieved, they likely won't have problems finding other work. Then it is a matter of being able to get all of them at once. I'm still optimistic we will see the second half of the season at some point. I doubt any of the actors/crew are going to want to leave the story unfinished. I would hope that we at least see something by next Spring/Fall.

I think they'll come back.  They also don't need to get everyone at the same time - depending on what needs to be filmed, they only have to get a few characters' schedules aligned and can just film things out of order.

Anyone else notice "Takes helmet off", "I'm Daniel Faraday, I'm here to rescue you"
"Takes helmet off", I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you" reference?

Cool episode. I think they want revenge on Ben becuase of the Purge.

I totally caught that - I love it when they hide references like this in the dialogue!

WM now has the FF Legends Line on clearance.  Saw the Torch over the weekend for $5, but passed on him.  Never did get my invisible woman.  >:(

My WM still has a few Invisible Womans left if you want me to pick one up for you. None of the packaging was in good shape though.

I also have a regular variant (not the backwards one) of Marvel Girl if anyone needs her (cost + shipping of course).

I just want 'em loose, so if you can get one or two, I would happily take them!  Could pay cost plus shipping plus your time, or I think I have a few items off your want list if you're interested in swapping.  Let me know if you can get them and we'll work something out.  Thanks!

Hey, I found a bunch of TAC Legends figures with the Commander Rex offer sticker on them this morning at my local Walmart. The sticker said to get the P.O.P inside or go to I looked at Hasbro no sign of the offer. Anyway, there was no way I was going to buy those figures, so I guess we are going to wait to see what we need to get this figure.

Wal-Mart Wal-Mart Wal-Mart.  Hey Target - catch up already will ya!?

Electronic sounds and motorized doorway system have got me sold on this.  This was the best part of the vintage ships IMO.  I'll defintiely get one now, maybe two as well.

I'm sorry, but where are you buying your comic packs for $14 or more?  Wal-Mart is $9.96 and Target is $9.99.  Even if they were $11.99, you're getting figs for $6 each and a free comic.  ;)
