I need a goalie if someone has one available.

As for different case assortments, I like it.  It can help keep certain figures from building up in excess quantities and helps keep a more consistent assortment overall.  Better than getting one assortment with 7 different figures in it, that's for sure.  But they are probably overdoing it with the Vaders.

I don't know about the multi-assortments.  I hate the idea that my local Target will get in 2-3 of case X only to find out that it has only 8/9 of the new wave.  That means I STILL have to keep running around to track down that one last figure.  What a pain...

I guess I'm just lazy, but I'd prefer that the majority of the cases they offer to the store actually have ALL of the new figures from a wave instead of only 90%.   


Don't even get me started on this "Bounty Hunt" nonsense...  anyway they try to spin it, it's going to suck. 

People are trying to say that these are the vOTC-esque figures (like Brian mentioned) - X-Wing Luke, Tusken, Endor Han, Scout Trooper, Greedo - but that will suck ass if it's true.  so many questions, my brain hurts...

If the vOTC are being inserted "randomly" into cases, why?  How?  1x per case, per figure? 

I keep thinking of the nightmare scenario where I have to track down TEN different cases because each case only has one bounty hunt figure and I need to find a carded and loose for all five figures...       

this is just getting ridiculous... 2 more case variants showing up...

So, the Fire Pilot is only 1per case in 3 of the 4 Wave 4 cases...  and in those same 4 cases, each one has 2x Darth Vader #13.   

Yeah, 3 Coruscant Fire Pilot for every 8 Darth Vaders... not counting all the Vaders released in the Hoth wave... and the Geonosis wave... and the Tatooine wave... 

edit: to counteract all my negativity, I should point out that the 3 of the 4 cases do have 2x Clone Trooper (Utapau) so I guess it's not all bad... 

A couple things -

1.  Between being sick and the holiday schedule, I didn't have a chance to pimp out the Rebel Troopers challenge ending until today.  Sorry about that.     Back on track I hope this month...

2.  OK, I'd really like to participate this time, but I have NEVER attempted anything like this before, so be prepared for lots of newbie dio-building questions... 

3.  Ryan, I like where your set is headed... 

Yeah, what Matt said - no worries.

Some people just like having all their threads smooshed together is all.

And, like Matt also said, any merging of threads that is done is usually done behind the scenes after the work has been out there a while (and drifted back to page 4-5 or something).
