Just an FYI that this is back up for pre-order again if you missed out the first time...

Star Wars The Force Awakens First Order Legion 3.75" Figure 7-Pack

They used "Sidekick" for the TFA Han figure too - the 6" TFA Han was listed as "SW E7 Sidekick Battler Black".  Maybe "Sidekick Battler Black" Is Freighter Han and "Sidekick Battler Blue" is Starkiller Base Han?

Here's a few others to aid the sleuthing...

SW E7 Villain Trooper Commander = 6" Captain Phasma
SW E7 Secondary Alien = 6" Zuvio
SW E7 Secondary Hero Battler Orange = 6" X-Wing Poe
SW E7 Sidekick Alien = 6" Chewbacca
SW E7 Villain Trooper Red = 6" Flametrooper
SW E7 Blue Trooper = 6" Snowtrooper Officer
SW E7 Lead Hero Battler White = 6" FN-2187 (Finn in Stormie Gear)
SW E7 Sidekick Battler Black = 6" TFA Han Solo

We got the PS4 Battlefront bundle for Christmas. (thanks, Santa!)

I haven't had a chance to play the online stuff yet, but my sons and I have been having a blast just playing the co-op missions and the versus stuff.  Fun game so far, though I think my 9-year olds are already better than I am at the game after only a week. :P

I hear people on wanting to order these online, but that's not why Walmart signed up for an exclusive.

There was rumor, at one time iirc, that these were specifically to be put up for pre-order...  But with WM, I doubt that was ever much more than a rumor without much truth to it.

It wasn't a rumor, it was in the Walmart/Hasbro press release - "fans, customers and collectors can expect Walmart and" to carry the figures

That's why people are so annoyed - the press release makes it sound like the waves would be put up for pre-order on and that never happened for Wave 2 (or Wave 3, but the press release never talks about Wave 3 technically).

Here was the press release again...

Here is the full press release from Hasbro & Walmart...

The Collector-Favorite Line Will Feature Figures From the Saga Films and STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, Beginning on September 4

BENTONVILLE, AR, Sep. 4, 2015 – Walmart and Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) announced today that the retail giant will be the exclusive home of the fan-favorite STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 3 3/4-inch toy line in the U.S.

Starting on “Force Friday,” September 4, will begin selling the first wave and taking pre-orders on the second wave of the highly collectible toy line. Customers will find the product in stores beginning in October, making Walmart the only destination in the U.S. for fans looking for highly detailed, highly articulated 3 3/4-inch figures based on the upcoming film STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.

First launched in 2013, STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 3 3/4-inch line quickly became a fan-favorite line, in the tradition of earlier Hasbro toy lines like the STAR WARS VINTAGE collection. As the new exclusive US home to the STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 3 3/4-inch line, Walmart is proud to become the go-to destination for STAR WARS fans looking for the finest Hasbro toys available.

“Walmart is very excited to be the exclusive home of the Star Wars Black Series 3 ¾ inch figures,” said Anne Marie Kehoe, vice president of toys at Walmart. “This is just the beginning - fans, customers and collectors can expect Walmart and to be the place to find the newest characters and figures as they are released.”

“We’re thrilled that Walmart will be the new home for fans’ beloved STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 3 3/4-inch toy line,” said Maureen Smith, senior vice president of brand marketing for Hasbro. “With the support of a world-class retailer like Walmart, we can ensure that collectors continue to get new, highly detailed and articulated 3 3/4-inch STAR WARS action figures for years to come.”

The first wave of the new STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 3 3/4-inch line is currently available for purchase on and features EPISODE VI DARTH VADER, EPISODE VI LUKE SKYWALKER, and EPISODE IV CHEWBACCA. The second wave, featuring a brand new EPISODE IV PRINCESS LEIA figure and the first two figures based on STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS (FIRST ORDER STORMTROOPER and KYLO REN), are available to pre-order now on Both waves will be available in stores in the next few months.  Additional 3 ¾-inch figures will be coming later in 2015.

The press release pretty clearly says "are available to pre-order now on" but that wasn't the case.  There were placeholders for the figures (some of which have since been deleted), but they never went "live" for orders until ToyWiz started selling the Wave 2 figures for ridiculous prices as a secondary seller.

So yeah, I can see why people are upset isn't the option they thought it would be...

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Walmart Black Series 3.75" Wave 4

So, Wave 3 is becoming a bit more common.  Time to start thinking about Wave 4 again.  Here were the rumored figures, with (now dead) Walmart links:

Really hoping one of the bottom two is a TFA 3.75" SA Han Solo.

The Force Awakens / Re: TFA 3.75" Jungle/Space/Snow/Desert Line
« on: January 4, 2016, 01:13 PM »
Losing track of these with so many announcements the past couple days.  Let's see if I've got this correct?

Snow/Desert Wave 3 =
repacks of everyone from Wave 1 and Wave 2

Snow/Desert Wave 4 =
snow = Asty, Stormtrooper, Snowtrooper (re-issues **)
desert = Captain Rex [Rebels], Unkar Plutt, and FN-2187

Snow/Desert Wave 5  =
snow =  Kylo Ren*, Squad Leader Stormtrooper, Nien Nunb
desert = Jakku Finn, Zuvio, Flametrooper (re-issues **)

Jungle/Space Wave 3 =
repacks of everyone from Wave 1 and Wave 2

Jungle/Space Wave 4 =
forest = Resistance Rey, Han Solo, Hassk Thug
space = X-Wing Poe, TIE Pilot, Resistance Trooper (re-issues **)

Jungle/Space Wave 5 =
forest = Kylo Ren, Phasma, Luke (re-issues **)
space = Admiral Ackbar, Tassu Leech, Fifth Brother [Rebels]

* - sounds like this "snow" Kylo is probably a NEW Kylo figure, since since the first Kylo was a "forest" figure.

** - still not sure if the re-issue/carry forwards have new BAW parts or if they will have the same parts as previous release.

I was surprised by the actual lack of variation in the vehicles... there's TIE's and X-Wings, and they're on a mission that's heavy on bombing, but no Y-Wings?  I was hoping for an A-Wing too...

Yeah, it's too bad there were no A-Wings or Y-Wings for them to turn into toys.  Now we won't be able to bitch about how ridiculous it is they are charging us $40 for an A-Wing or $90 for a Y-Wing.  :P

Looks like I never posted MAFEX Boba Fett in here when he was announced, so here he is too - due July 2016.

Airing of the grievances this year COULD be pretty epic.

New 3.75" TFA Figures!  Sweet!  Wait...
- They're 5POA?  Ugh, that sucks.
- They cost $8 each?  Man, that sucks!
- The pack-in build-a-weapons are a useless suck-fest.
- I can't find any of the figures I've spent weeks hating on at the stores - you suck, Hasblo!!!
- I finally found some figures... god the paint apps suck.
- I finally saw the movie - Zuvio sucks, he's not Boba Fett and he's not even in the movie for more than 1.5 seconds!
- I finally saw the movie - Goss Toowers sucks, he's not even in the movie for more than 1.5 seconds!
- Hasbro should just go back to making OT Cantina Aliens who were only in the movie for 1.5 seconds, that's what fans want!
- Ugh, my Targets are loaded with nothing but Wave 2 pegwarmers!
- Ugh, my local Walmarts are utterly devoid of any new Star Wars toys for kids (and by "toys for kids", I mean 3.75" stuff I want (but still hate), not the rest of the aisle jammed packed with Mashers, Micro Machines, Vehicles, Role Play and all the rest of that stuff kids might like).

I think that's about all for the 3.75" TFA stuff.... now where did I put my list for the 3.75" Black Series stuff (Walmart! $13 each! Wave 1! Paint Apps! HATE!)

 ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
