Man, it's crazy to watch this spread like wildfire across the internet.  I see some people not READING our forums/front page and just taking everything on the lists as NEW NEW NEW!!!!!  It's pretty obvious that these lists are a mix of A) stuff that's already been released, B) stuff we know has been cancelled, and C) stuff that *might* or *might not* be coming.

I downloaded the entire list from Hasbro's CS page (over 2700+ items!) and there are a LOT of things that are obviously cancelled items - like all these AMP'd things:

And there are other things that we know for fact Hasbro mocked-up and then cancelled when they couldn't find a partner, like the Funeral Pyre Vader, which is buried in there -

So, does that mean Funeral Pyre Vader is back on?  Or is he stll cancelled?  No idea.  Just take the list, speculate and enjoy.  Make it fun.  Don't take it as gospel or you're just setting yourself up for disappointment down the road. ;)

Man, so much info in there to process...  going to take a while for folks to flesh out what's new, what's cancelled, what's old.  Lots of digging through item numbers in our future I think.

I'm most intrigued by the vehicle listings, like:
SW EpVI A Wing Fighter with Han Solo A1932

Will be a long wait to find out if they're 3.75" scale or something else - Jedi Force, a return to Action Fleet, etc.

That Holo Grievous is the Clone Wars one from 2008. (item #88560) and is not new...

New stuff has item/assortmen numbers in the Axxxx format now for the most part. ;)

Looks pretty good. I have no problems with them taking vast steps away from the way it was in the comics because they've already done that (Havok/Beast in one era, Cyclops/Jean in another, Iceman in a third, etc).  As long as it's a good story, I'll get over it not matching the comic version.

Jeff, I think the adjustment window is only around a week or so. Your best bet might be to buy new sets on sale, and return them with your original receipts.

That's what I was afraid of... I'll save $12 if I can get the price adjustment, but I could waste that much in gas driving to/from Kmart a couple times a week looking for them again over the next month.  I may just cut my losses and be glad I found them already.  :P

Anyone know offhand the price adjustment window for Kmart?  I bought the sets last Thursday (10/17) and can't recall if it's 14 days or less to get a price adjustment...  would be nice to just get an adjustment instead of having to track down new sets again at the sale price...

Would your dogs enjoy a birthday card and call from a giraffe?

Arndt is confirmed as script writer

Lawrence Kasdan and director J.J. Abrams have assumed screenwriting duties for Ep7.

Other crew announcements/confirmations in the article...

The press release says "one million TELEPODS figures in consumers' hands around the globe" and "With one million TELEPODS figures in consumers' hands", so I'd guess that's retail sales not retailer orders.

A few other things to note.  First, it's one million globally, not just US sales. Second, the one million number TELEPODS includes both AB:SWII and AB:Go! Telepods sales.

The idea I think is that he is being slowly healed by a spirit of community. I don't see how it serves to move the plot forward if he starts going nuts again.

I kinda thought that was the point of Rick's talk with Hershel... Rick was wondering if "you can come back" and Herschel tells him, 'your son came back, you came back'.  I though that was them telling us that Rick was healed/healing from the tragedy of Lori's death, but I guess I can see how people read that as Rick still worried because he is still hallucinating things (camping lady).

Here's another one from 2008 that basically spells out how the plan was to adjust the figures to create an animated/realistic hybrid design.

Here was the pic from 2008.  They started off in 2008 with the Hybrid Anakin, but later Clone Wars was closer to 'Animated' Anakin, while TVC Anakin was like the 'Saga' one shown here.

What is between the CW animated style vs. the more realistic main line style?  Honestly, I thought some of the aliens from the CW series fit right in with main line stuff, so not sure what a hybrid of these two would look like.

2008 Clone Wars was a hybrid look.  Some of the later CW wave figures went more "animated" (thinking Anakin/Obi-Wan for sure) and some ended up more "realistic" like some aliens and Cad Bane.  A while back there was a great developement pic that came out.  It really highlighted how some at LFL wanted pure animated, most of Hasbro wanted realistic, and they settled inbetween.

But it should be Vader personally hunting the Jedi down.

If I read things correctly, Rebels is like 14 years after ROTS... maybe Vader is just bored with it at this point?  Sure, the first few years after ROTS he was probably tracking and killing Jedi, tracking and killing Jedi, over and over every day.  But after 14 years?  I'd like to think he upgraded to larger scale evil projects by then... ;)

Wow, I am totally enthralled by the drama these are kicking up at the big general toy sites (AFI, TNI, Fwoosh, etc).  Mattel's 6" scale guys are PISSED that after years and years of begging for Reeve and Keaton 6" Movie Masters, Mattel finally offer up what they were begging for... but only in this new 4" scale that no one wanted.  Awesome.  :D

Reeves Superman looks great, but I can see why everyone is pissed.  I imagine Hasbro announcing 6" Black Series Tonnika Sisters would set off the same chain reaction over here.  :P
