Are you planning on aquiring Logray?

Yes, I'll add him to my list and try to track Logray down after the price settles a bit (along with the Chase Fetts from Series 1, still need to track those down... and then maybe I'll track down the Endor Bike set too).

So, the wife and I went on a little road trip yesterday to take in one last nice weekend in Minnesota (can't squander a 64deg F day in November in MN).  We drove a few hours south along the river where we went on a bike ride and stopped for a Picnic, then later we went out to eat for dinner last night.

So, about an hour ago, I realized I never checked the mail yesterday (because we were out all day)!  I walked down to the community mailboxes and I found the magic parcel bin key in my box and BAM!  I quickly opened the parcel bin to discover that my Kubricks were here!

Woot!  Chase Vinyl Jawa!   ;D

I'll open mine up and post some nice loose shots later...

Oh, yeah, and I should have 1x set of seven (basic 6 plus chase Han) as well as some individual Blocks/Jawas/Ewoks to sell (please send a PM if you are interested in buying)!

Very Happy!

FYI, my case came from a Hong Kong eBay seller and the layout was basically EXACTLY the same as Padawan's, with the only exception being my Chase Vinyl Cape Jawa where his Logray was located.

Also, it is VERY easy to tell a Carbonite Block from a Hibernation Sickness Han by simply squeezing the boxes.  That Carbonite Block is a tight fit in the box!

My wife and I went out to dinner with a few friends last night and decided to see a movie afterwards.  There was indecision all around on what to see, so I talked them into The Incredibles.

Episode 3 Prview aside (which ROCKED on the big screen), the movie was actually REALLY good.  Kind of like how a James Bond/Superhero movie should be.

Once again, Pixar is able to crank out a movie where the characters are very well thought out and VERY human.  I'm not going to offer up any spoliers (since this is the start of the thread), but it was a pretty great movie!  Anyone else catch this one last night?

Also had a preview for next year's Pixar movie - Cars.

Not too bad so far... hanging in the meaty middle of the pack.

Gah, my shooting % are terrible!  Both on the floor and the line, definately my weekness so far.

The latest addition to my iPod?

The Episode 3 Trailer.

With iTunes 4.7, it's easier than ever to transfer .mov QuickTime files to iPod files so now the trailer lives on my iPod where I can hear "Lord Vader.... Yes My Master.. Rise" whenever and where ever I want.

Why I love my iPod even more:

I was able to use the new iTunes 4.7 software to convert my .mov Quicktime file to an iPod audio file.

Now, I can listen to the trailer whenever I want at work, in the car, at the store.   ;D

I've got it programmed so that "Lord Vader... Yes Master?... Rise" plays every time I start up the iPod Playlist...

$10 to ship a single Kubrick? That's weak. They have one of those shipping systems set up by total price of the item?

I was snooping around trying to decide if I should buy one and it looked like it was $5.45 for basic AirMail (7-10 days), $14 for Express (2-4 days), and then $5 more for Insurance/Registered mail.

The $10 was probably Basic shipping plus Insurance/Registered Mail perhaps?  :-\

I am not sure what to make of this Logray/Jawa mystery.   :-\

I am tempted to buy 1x each chase from Actio-HQ, then sell the extra (what ever I don't get in my case), then again, I am tempted to not spend $50 on a single figure.   :-\

Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Chinese Food Thread

Unforunately, I am sensative to MSG in large doses so most Asian Foods are out for me (lest I spent the rest of the night in the bathroom  :-X).

If I am feeling particularily willing to risk my gut on Chinese, I will indulge in a Sweet and Sour Chicken or a Sesame Chicken with rice dish, but that's about as far as I push it.

I agree though about the Mongolian BBQ, that is usually pretty good.  We usually end up at Khan's Mongolian a few times a year for a tasty "meat cooked on a big rock" treat!

Hello VadereX, friend of Kevin/Famine!  Welcome to, please enjoy your stay.

Yes, Morgbug is old but it's a fun old, like the nice old man who llive down the street and talks to his trees...

Were you on MTV too?

Original Trilogy Collection / Re: VOTC C-3PO on Ebay??

Very interesting...

Seems like NewForce got in the wave 2.5 vOTC case and are shipping them now (I got my ship confirmation today... I totally forgot that I had ordered this case from them).

Got my 2x 3PO from Amazon today, along with my wave 2.5 case from NewForce (which I forgot I ordered because I didn't expect it to ship).

So, because I only needed 1 C-3PO,  it appears I've got a few extra C-3PO to sell.
edit: my extra C-3POs have been SOLD!
