I've seen the Chewie/3PO pack also, but I skipped that one since I have the Chewie/3PO from the Falcon already.

This is one line where I won't be buying resculpts if I can avoid it.  New figures, yes, but resulpts?  No...  although I might pick up one or two on the Stormie 2-packs though.  :-\

Just heard that the season tickets for my buyer group here at work are in, so we'll be dividing up the games this weekend (via a lotto system for picks).  I'll end up with 4 games this year (1 of 11 shares).  Now all we have to do is hope there is a season.  :-\

I watched USA vs. Canada the other night on ESPN.  The Team USA played worse than some college teams I've seeen in my day.  Kinda reminded me of the "Dream Team" in that there are stars on the team, but they don't function well together for a whole list of reasons I guess.

So, the World Cup is alright, but I'd rather be watching the NHL or the WCHA!

they had a very near miss 2 weeks ago with Charlie and now look to be on the exit path of Frances...

From what I've seen it looks like everyone in Florida could be in it's path!

Yep, I do a hockey league every year with my friends at Yahoo.

Works just like the rest, and I'd be VERY interested in a Fantasy Hockey League...

*PSST*  Pick Sebastian Janikowski, K since your kicker got cut.

Such is the Circle of Life; as one JDer gets a new pet, another loses one.

One of my Brown Anoles passed away.  I checked the cage to add water to the dish this morning as I always do, and I found Stumpy the Lizard rigored belly up in the corner (looks like the crickets in the cage already started in on him too... :-X)

Thus, he was removed from the terrarium and he received a proper "Burial at Sea" before I left for work.  Godspeed, Stumpy the Lizard.  You're in a better place now...  :'(

Now, I'm down to just one House Gecko (Spidey).  I might have to hit PetCo this weekend and buy him a new friend... maybe a Green Anole this time?

Gonna be a slow day tomorrow (6 picks)  if we don't back to D-Reb before 6AM :(

Wayne?  You out there?

Or maybe, since we are in the later rounds,  D-Reb will e-mail Scott or I some picks since he is only 6 picks away and it will slow up the draft if he doesn't ;).

Just out of curiosity, I looked it up.

The NY Giants Bye Week is week 6.

The lucky contestant?

Week 6 - Tatooine Express vs The Famine

Wayne, you lucky dog!   ;)

Don't Worry, J-MAC.

At least the Twins are helping out out by beating up on Texas so they don't catch ya in the standings ;)

Boston is really pouring it on... too bad the Yanks won tonight to keep it at 3.5 games.

If this keeps up, there will be some GREAT baseball weeekends in September...

Fri. 17 Boston at NY Yankees
Sat. Sep 18 Boston at NY Yankees
Sun. Sep 19 Boston at NY Yankees

Fri. Sep 24 NY Yankees at Boston
Sat. Sep 25 NY Yankees at Boston
Sun. Sep 26 NY Yankees at Boston

Not to mention the Oakland/Anaheim showdowns and the SD/LA/SF showdowns.  Not too much to see in either of the Central divisions or the NL East where things are on cruise control.

The Cubs should put on a good show in the WC race, they just gotta hope that SD and SF beat up on each other (or LA beats up on both of them) and gives them a chance to pull away a bit.

So, it sounds like the rape charges against Kobe are going to be dropped in a few hours!   8)

I hope he's happy with all he's gone through to get his "street cred"... ::)

Hooray, we made it back to D-Reb!

Good chance I'll actually get to pick again tonight if everyone is around...  :)

Original Trilogy Collection / Re: Jedi Council sets 3 & 4
« on: September 1, 2004, 12:32 PM »

Dang.  Those sets suck hard.

I guess Hasbro was tired of people asking for them to finish the Jedi Council so they just pushed a bunch of crap at us.  I can't wait for next year when they say, "Gee we don't listen to collectors anymore.  They begged and begged for Jedi Council.  When we gave them what they wanted, no one bought it"

I hate when they re-use figures for these sets, but them to reuse the same figure for two sets IN A ROW, that's an all new low for Hasbro, and that says a lot  :-[

Is this the first picture of Rabe?  Nice to see that she'll come in the Red/Yellow outfit with Naboo pistol and not the other outfit.
