A Cindel w/ Teek and Noah exclusive set would be awesome... with a companion set of the bad aliens w/ witch.  Hasbro would have a very cool set on their hands if they did that.

That was my impression of Derryl when I met him at TF.  Very helpful and courteous.

My impression from what I've read, heard, and seen on web videos is of a completely different DDP than my past perception... I was 100% impressed with the courtesy and humility I saw from him with CVI.  He's earned the benefit of the doubt from me going into 2013.  I just hope that he and their team truly have learned from their mistakes over the past couple years.

I've been buying cheap Asian Ewoks off the eBay sellers for a few years now and my Ewoks army is pretty large.

Most of my Ewoks are from Endor.

How are these packaged? Four of each in a case or two of each in a case?

There were four of each  at the TRU where I found them this morning, so I either came across 1 case or 2....

Two of each per case, from what I've seen evidence of.

As for the price variance reported on these sets, there's two TRU in my area, just a few miles apart from each other. One store often has prices about 10% higher than the other on about half the SW merchandise.  Both have these sets though, at $39.99 each.

$14.99 is a steal for the AT-ST drivers.  For the Ewoks, it sounds about right... it's awesome that Kmart apparently hasn't jacked up the prices on these.  It's a pleasant surprise.

Picked up these sets tonight at TRU.

Ewoks rock, as expected.  So does Porkins... astromech droid is okay, I guess... same goes for the TIE pilot.  But those other two pilot are terrible.  Hasbro needs to let go of that awful Luke sculpt.  I'm going to use the heads for generic customs, I guess.

I really agree on Dagobah Luke - remember the one that came with the X-Wing a few years back?  That one was a tease... I kind of thought we'd see it in a battle pack later, with Yoda and Dagobah Vader.  But an upgrade would be fantastic.

Pete_Fett just helped me out with some new loose TVC figures that are impossible to find in stores.  Awesome seller and I really appreciate his help!

That makes a lot more sense then since there's not a spot for it at Target stores but the new Wal-Mart planogram has it.  Didn't they have it online at  Or am I imagining that?

There's some sellers on ebay that have that Luke cheap if you decide you want one but not the Fett - I've seen one for $3.99 recently, and I think shipping might even be free.

Sandtroopers reported that it has been found at a Target.

ps - I went to Target today and they did their restock and these figures were gone from the plannogram

They are on a back endcap now.

Not in my area.  Just the basic figures are on a back endcap.  3-pks/vehicles are nowhere to be seen.

Maybe I'm just too easy.

And maybe I'm just too hard on Hasbro on this.

What bothers me is the "head" has what looks like a really, really good paint scheme that puts some depth into the sculpt, and almost looks like a matte finish... looks like top quality!

But the body and legs seem to be completely void of paint.  It looks like they just skipped that altogether... then the feet have a lot of brown paint... seems to be a little overkill to me... and it makes the foot the joint really looks too clean then.

I know it's just a toy, but I think they got a little zealous on the mud paint, and should have put less into that and a little more into weathering the legs/body.  I can't complain too much I guess, because I have a few of the Wal-Mart version and am pretty happy with those.

Col. Dietrich...  Seriously.  That's all I'm sayin'.  ::)

******' Crystal Skull.

It's my least favorite of the films, but if not for that movie, we might not have gotten any figures made at all.

I also don't think the paint job quality on the figures helped, or some of the figure selections - Belloq, for example, should have had his white suit from the get go, and his "ritual" outfit should have come with the Ark.  Toht should have been available early on, etc.

It's too bad, really.
