One thing that really pisses me off is when I get a $100 medical bill from some hospital that I visited almost 2 years ago!   >:(  I have no idea what the deal is with this, but I'm guessing my insurance didn't cover everything, and the idiots are finally getting around to telling me about it now.   ::)

Another annoyance is when my girlfriend randomly decides to go into one of her "moods".  No idea what triggers this stuff, and fortunately it only happens once every several months, but when it does, look out!  Silent treatment and glares for a while, and she expects me to somehow figure out what the problem is.   ???  It'll usually turn out to be something so dumb and inconsequential, that I wind up getting mad that she wasted 2 perfectly fine days being a butt dart.

Pet peeve: When people take their left turns on the green arrow SO SLOWLY that no one behind them can make the light as well, so they have to sit there for another 3 minutes before they get another chance.  Also, when pedestrians casually walk along at a snail's pace across a drive way that you're trying to enter, while traffic piles up behind you.  The pedestrian(s) could easily just pause for a couple seconds to let you turn in and allow traffic to continue to flow on the street behind you, before they continue on their merry way.  Inconsiderate jerks.   :-X

I've been listening to various Clapton albums, and on the far other end of the music spectrum, the LOTR soundtracks as well.  Puts me in a nice, mellow mood.  Some great stuff!  Haven't picked up anything new at the record store in a couple months though.

Anyone else?  Still haven't seen a trace of these around my area yet, and I'm worried that they're never going to make it.  Has anyone compared these with the originals to see if there's any notable differences (paint) that make them better than their initial issues?  Sorry if anyone already answered that, but I'm too lazy to browse the rest of the thread.   :-[

These have the new slimmer bubbles too, right?

I agree with the sentiments on that TRU 4-pack.  Blah!  Unless Hasbro does the right thing, and sticks some real hard to find figures in there like Ascension Amidala and the Naboo Royal Guard.  Other than that, I'd rather not have another rehashed Jedi Duel against Maul collaboration.

Great news on more Council scenes!  It'll be wonderful to be able to set up the entire Council now.  Really glad to see Hasbro stick with this concept, despite the plethora of shelf warming Screen Scenes at Target.  So, has anyone figured out who we still need in the various neutral and/or seated poses?

As for the ships, though I'll assume they're indeed coming, I'll believe the Sandcrawler and new wings Tie Fighter when I see them.  Hopefully they both come to fruition finally, since they're long overdue.  I'm curious to see what changes they make, if any, to the Y-Wing and Slave 1.  I assume the AOTC Slave 1 was more accurately sculpted than the original SOTE/POTF2 version?  One question:  Where the heck's the stinking Cloud Car?!   >:(

Another convention exclusive figure?  Obviously the "Toy Fair" part is wrong, since that's already passed.  I wonder if they'll make another silver figure.  I assume they will.  If so, who do you guys prefer it to be?  I'd say probably a Stormtrooper, which is what the upcoming Clonetrooper SHOULD HAVE been!   ::)

All in all, I'm excited with this list.  Any news is good news!

Wow!  That's an incredible setup you've got there Jared!  Well done.  I don't know much about home theaters, but I know enough to understand when I see one hell of an impressive set up, as yours appears to be.  I don't think I dare ask what kind of dollar amount would be attached to such an extravagant setup, do I?

So how many DVDs do you have to watch on that thing?

Some huge matchups the last couple nights!  The Timberwolves showed their true form again, dropping the Nets and their 14 game winning streak down the toilet last night!   8)  Tonight's Spurs/Mavs game was a little disappointing with the huge blowout and Duncan getting injured.  But the Kings/Lakers game was definitely a thriller!  I was really surprised the Kings beat them IN L.A. and without Brad Miller, Bobby Jackson, and of course Webber.  But Peja and Bibby couldn't be stopped from the outside.  Atrocious D by the Lakers, and just all around uninspired play.  No idea why Kobe settled for a 30 footer to end the game either.  Could've easily just gone for two to tie, with a whole 14 seconds left on the clock to work with.  Weird.  Can't figure those guys out some times.

Still fun to see a couple great matchups on national television like that though.  Wish they could do that more often!

Hey Ook!  Nice to have you join the JD party train!  This place is a blast, and a nice change of pace from what other sites around the net have to offer.  I'm not around as much as I'd like to be, but when I do pop in, I definitely enjoy the comraderie the JD'ers show.  Have fun, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the boards!

Forgive my laziness for not browsing through the link there, but I assume this is going to be animated right, and not live action like the Flinstones was, for example?  Hopefully they'll slap an R rating on it, and really let the characters go to town!   8)

I think this is the first time I've ever seen anyone mention post counts here, or express a desire to become a moderator.  Not really how things go here, from what I've seen.  Didn't think anyone cared about that stuff at JD.  I'd agree with the staff members that already replied, that there's not even a need for mods around here that I've ever seen.  Couple "situations" popped up briefly here and there, but were squashed almost immediately.  Other than that, I've completely forgotten that there's even mods at this site.  Most of them just seem to be part of the regular gang, which is a big reason why I enjoy it here!   8)

I do some strange things at the Star Wars section out of irritation too!  I like to stack up things where the figures would otherwise be, like 10 Screen Scenes on top of eachother, or a pile of Clone Wars ships or lightsabers.  Basically anything that draws the attention of the stockers or employees to the empty wall!

No visuals here, but it's still kind of funny.  Some of you have probably already seen this though.  Please forgive me for all the ">"s in there, but that's how it shows up in my e-mail, and I sure as hell ain't going to delete all that crap.
