I just don't see a lot of people out there that are going to want the two basic figs and NOT the piece of the Darktrooper.

By buying it at the "Half Priced Books" store and using a 50% off coupon I picked up "Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor" for $3.99 yesterday. Nice to get a three month old hardcover book for half the price of a paperback.

As I was just reading "Outcast", Nrin Vakil showed up. The Quarren from the pilot WM CP that just came out. Sort of cool to have an EU toy I just bought show up in the current book.

Picked up Star Wars: Fate of the Jedi -  Outcast the other day.

So did I. I'm about 2/3 the way through. I'm liking some of it, but not so sure about other stuff.

I have never bought one of these before, but a collectible store near my house has the Aayla for $29.99 and I'm tempted.

That's a great price. I'd say go for it. You won't be disappointed.

I did. And I am defineately not disappointed.

As Keonobi was saying a big part of it is the role model thing. I bet those of you who don't care about steroids in sports won't be so happy when your son/daughter decides to use them because they saw athletes get away with it and then ends up with one or more of the side affects. Which can range from minimal to death (accidental or suicide).

LEGO / Re: Lego 2009

I'm going to wait for the Easter clearance and see if I can take my receipt in and get a discount.

That doesn't work on clearanced items.  Just hold on to your original "full price" receipt and buy a clearanced one.

That is correct that you can't get any adjustment on clearance and I'd be shocked if any of these SW LEGO sets make it to the day after Easter. I think collector's and parents will snatch these up before then.

I noticed last night when Japan was celebrating their WBC championship that one of the players/coaches name on the back of their jersey said YODA.

If you guys can get this to work on the B Wing or the Lars Homestead then more power to you, but when the ad says 40% off and then lists the price $14.99 to me that isn't ambigious. That means a specific original price which the B Wing and Lars HS are not.

For storage and environment reasons I wouldn't mind the SW cards being smaller, but I think the Marvel stuff is too small. It just doesn't look right to me. I'm not exactly sure why. But its not pleasing to the (my) eye when its that small.

BPs have been $24.99 at Targets in my area for months.

I think the season was great.

And whereas I am curious to see where the Anakin/Ahsoka thing will go and end, I really like her and she doesn't ruin anything AND I think kids really like her and this Cartoon Network show is very much for kids.
