The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Collection Battle Packs

The Vulture's Claw set is kind of the anti-that...  And then the stuff like the Palpatine's Office Duel set is pretty lame top to bottom and easily passed on by just about everyone.

I like a BP like the Palpatine Duel because as a non opener it let's "me" set up an important scene without actually opening any figs.

I'm thinking that when the Cardinals beat the Yankees in the World Series this year and Pujols has two rings we can really start talking about him as arguably the best ever. And how nice will it be to have it be a player that is even a better human being.

Joe Defender / G.I. Joe Toys Thread

That is crazy. This may be a totally unfair stereotype, but I'm guessing he has a nice paying job and has chosen that his future will not include marriage.

edit-didn't read very well clearly through the rest of the thread. I wish my wife was just indifferent about my toys let alone that obsessed.

Depending on how hurt Troy is, if I was Pitt I may trade that win to have his knee magically healed. They obviously are a great team still, but...........

Just got a Y Wing Bomber. Certainly glad I didn't keep trying to tell myself that my regular Y Wings were all I needed. Looks really cool.

Whereas I agree that this is an easy pass for me, I also think if it's not too over priced and I was a ten year old who loved the cartoon series this would be really cool to get those two characters and their ships.

This is a random post but, anyone seen the PS3 commercial about the rumors it is dropping to $299 where the Sony guy says "don't believe rumors you hear on the internet, that's how WW1 started"? Its pretty funny.

Once again thanks to a friend I just got the three WM Evolution sets, the first two WM CW 2 packs, and the three general release CPs.

I know there are a lot of EU haters out there, but for us EU lovers how cool is it that in the one wave of CPs we get two of the main "villains" from the last two really good book series NJO and Legacy? To have a Vong and Lumiya is pretty awesome.

I'm not saying Stafford won't be a good NFL QB some day, but starting him in game one makes me excited for another 0-16 season for the Lions.

Anyways, if you disagree and thought it was that bad, then perhaps stay away from the next one if it's made.

They'll find some way of getting "free" tickets and will still bash it.  I kind of enjoyed the new Indy flick for what it was.  Was it great?  No, but it was nice to see another installment.

I'll pay to see it and hope it's good. And IF it's not I'll say so. I think you can go see GiJoe or TF and just get a good action movie and be happy. But, I expected more from Indy. At least relative to Raiders and TLC.

Not so sure about the Giants anymore. Without shooty Joe (Burress) this year and if Usi acts like a five year old and storms out some more..........
