The Legacy Collection '08-'10 / Re: Recent Legacy Purchases

Scored a complete set of the ESB Wave 6 figures. Unfortunately the Hoth Rebel Trooper was "skirted".

You found the skirted version in a store? What chain?

(By the way, I'm still working on the first chapter, but I'm more-or-less in a holding pattern of sorts while I wait for Photoshop to catch up to the dreams and visions I have planned for the series.)

Why not just make the best of with what you have now, create a complete classic adored by fans all over the world, and then you can just tweak it to death as the technology becomes available?

That's pretty freaking hilarious  :D :D :D :D

I heard that a Mr. Johnathan C. Lately bought the site (which is unfortunate since now he will have to do the wishlists here too) and that the site is now the exclusive place to get AT-TE replacement legs.

Have you seen the TV commercial for the new Punch Out? It's really humerous and cool.

It's the Mighty Muggs that are on sale for $9.82 - the Evos are $18.62 something like that.

That's what I meant. Thanks for the catch. I probably would have had a lot of angry people running to KW.

But I'm still giving Manny the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah. I missed it though. Did Manny end up having a boy or a girl? ;)

The store by my house also has Mighty Muggs on TPC for $9.82 and Ultimate Light Sabers on TPC for $I forget.

I think Wedge has two, due to surviving the first assault...  which technically counted as an assist since he was in the trench and slowed the assault by the TIE's on Biggs and Luke.

Yeah, I think being involved and surviving these two "suicide" missions means he deserves two.

Just two random MLB things I had to comment on.........

Bobby Jenks was fined $750 for throwing at Texas Rangers. What is $750 to a pro athlete? What if your work fined you 75 cents for something? Would you even think twice about doing it again and not care about the "change" if it benefitted you?

Roger Clemens says he wouldn't take steriods because it would be suicidal. He said his family has a history of heart problems. His brother and STEP FATHER. Um, I didn't realize step genes passed on. I wonder if when you divorce a person and get a new step parent if you lose those genes too?

I was just squinting at the fine print on the back of the box that lists all the features, and am I correct in seeing the words "optional Rogue Squadron markings included" pointing to a bunch of TIE fighter and 2 Death Star kill markings?  That's pretty cool!

That's really cool. Just the Death Star kills may sell it to me now.

There's nothing worse than a big limp Star Wars toy.

Doesn't matter - the Bears have the division clinched.

All you Vikings fans can suck it!!!!111!!!

You type exclamations points like the Bears play football (no I don't know exactly what that means).

Now they say the Vikings are looking at Favre X-rays and if they don't think surgery is necessary they will try to sign him.

Well don't count Manny among the steroid positive, he's been tested 16 times in the past 5 years and steroids were never found.

This suspension is bogus.  An MD scripted him for hCg concerning erection issues.

It has performance enhancing effect, but only between the sheets.  Not on a baseball diamond.

You can say he's not a steroid user since hCg isn't a steroid. But saying the suspension is bogus sounds a little biased to me. The rules say you get suspended if you use this and why wouldn't you use the team doctor that would know this?

I should just go copy and paste my A-Rod post from a few months back and change the name, but instead I'll just b*tch again.

Stupid jerkass MLB stars who have to ruin my favorite sport by cheating. How in the world do you try to cheat now when they are actually testing and doing something about it. Screw you Manny. I hated you anyway you quitter, but now you really suck. Up yours.

If any of the 20 something stars come up steroids positive I don't know what I'll do.

I started watching Fringe but didn't get into it that much.  It's another show, like Lost, where there are all these hidden things in parts of it that lead to a bigger mystery.  And have an online component and all that.  I'm sorry, I appreciate their ambition, but I want to spend an hour a week with a show and be able to know what's going on, I don't want to have to then spend hours sifting through web sites trying to get clues.

I've watched every episode of Fringe and have enjoyed it but am defineately not a huge fan of shows where just watching it isn't enough to know what's happening. I wait for next weeks episode to tell me what happened and leave with just more questions half the time.
