Vintage Kenner / Re: Latest vintage acquisition

Picked this up from a seller in Brazil. It's missing the decals (other than the one inside the cockpit). The right wing doesn't stay on (I'll be trying to attach it somehow so if you have any tips please let me know). One in great condition is out of my price range. So I'm stoked to add, as not perfect is it is, this variation to my collection. I love the colors of the plastic.

My nine year old read it and loved it.

Cool and smart kid

I meant to mention this last Thursday Dave, but I'm not sure a 9 year old will love this book. I enjoyed it but mostly as the Thrawn lover that I am. Fun to read about his meteoric rise through the Imperial ranks but maybe not enough to hold a kid's attention

Once again Ovechkin and the Caps choke in the playoffs.

Makes sense I'm an Ovechkin fan as they suck in the playoffs just like all the Minnesota teams I root for

I agree with Pete on the stands. I had to force Leia to fit into two peg holes and Vader I just gave up on. He is only using one peg hole.

1133
I've picked up both Vader and Leia. Are they great? No. Do I wish Hasbro would have invested time and money into another line? Yes.

That being said, I like these two. I may end up with the rest.

I voted for Sim as well but the 6% he received doesn't really say much for him as a whole.

I would argue Aphra's boring outfit means the "coolness" of her character is there.

Why I feel the urge to "stick up" for this character I don't know much about is beyond me, but how does the 6% of us who voted for Sim and don't know who Aphra is outweigh the 36% who destroyed our choice? That's the attitude that irks me.

If I'm a 20 year old who reads these comics, the choice to vote for Aphra or some guy in a movie from way before my birth with 16 seconds of screen time seems obvious

Don't quote my %

Thanks for the links Jeff

This was a no brainer

I'm onboard with you and your OCD Jeff, BUT this is how my "wish list" goes:

1) All the EU guys from some book/game/etc.

2) ONE RANDOM EU GUY FROM SOME BOOK/GAME/ETC.

3) no guy from some EU book/game/etc.

I'd like the Anakin Solo, but am happy we at least got Jacen and Jaina

How can this wave be in stores already? Maybe I'm more annoyed than I should be because I still haven't seen an R2, but wow. The back of the packaging says June release. And why does it have to be Walmart? Ugh.

Have these been spotted anywhere other than Game Stop?

The Vintage Collection / Re: 2017 Hasbro Star Wars Fan Figure Vote

I'm hoping for Yak Face or Sim.

That being said, all I can do is laugh when old farts say things like, "who is Aphra?" and act like because we don't know who she is that no one else must. Can't be that the "kids" now into Star Wars care and know about her (and are partly responsible for us having a fan vote of Star Wars figures in 2017)
