The Vikings and Patriots both won yet it was still a bad day because my dream of back to back no win seasons for the Lions is over.

And I love that JediJman called you a homer Scott. Cause he isn't one for the Pack?  :-\

Hey, I will be the first to admit that the Packers got outplayed by the Bungles last week.  Rodgers was off, the receivers couldn't catch anything, and the defense was awful outside of Woodsoon (C. Benson 140 yards?  really!?)  There's a difference between being a big fan of your team vs. living in a fantasy land where they are always perfect.

I can't argue that. I guess I didn't take Scott's words quite as strong as you did.

I blame Hasbro - their own market research should show what is going to oversaturate the market.  They deal with all the retailers on this and need to do a better job of managing what they produce.  Hasbro needs to get a better understanding of supply and demand.  That's why I rarely blame this stuff on the retailers themselves.  This is Hasbro's baby, and they're supposed to be the experts on it.  Not a retailer that carries 100,000 other products in their store.

I agree. I think it's humerous (in a it's easier to laugh than cry sort of way) that movie after movie gets these crazy amounts of space and quantity and the same thing happens over and over. You can't have hundreds of figs on the pegs at all times and honestly expect them to sell. You have to have small enough quantities to let stuff sell and then new stuff come in it's place. Price obviously doesn't help, but Hasbro couldn't have really thought all those hundreds of figures at every store were really going to sell.

I was gonna wait til Christams for "Back Spacer" but you guys are making me think maybe I better get it now.

On a different note. I don't know if there are any other Snow Patrol fans on jd, but on my way home the DJ on the radio said, "We had Snow Patrol on the other day and they said their fans that have been with them for a while need to be ready for their new album to sound different because it was time for them to grow as a band." Then they played ther new song.

I hope I just was caught off guard in this case, but note to ALL bands. There is a huge difference between growing as a band and selling out. NOT THE SAME THING!!!!!!!!!!!!

He pretty cool, kind of a cross between Maximillion from The Black Hole and Gort from The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Thank you. I knew there was something familiar about the design.

In the recent past and near future we've gotten: Power Rangers, Friday the 13th, Terminator, and Day the Earth Stood Still crossover stuff in the SW line.

I may be filing a civil claim against jd for mental anguish because I had to be at work today without being able to spend much time on this site.

Is Eastern time the default time on here normally? i.e. if you're just here as a "guest".

I can't wait for that YVH droid. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Yeah where would Star Wars be if all of us nerds weren't picking at all the little details.  ;)

Found Rum Sleg today to finish off this wave. I think I can see why he seems to be flying off the peg. Even though he is a background character, there is something cool about the Jason Vorhees/Star Wars crossover it seems to be.

Another one I'm sitting on the fence regarding buying or not. It's a pretty droid, but $35 pretty? Hrm...  :-\

I think my hard sell is the fact I picked up two BMF's last Jan at Target for $35, albeit on clearance but... I might stay on the fence unless I see this going somewhere, but as of now a few stores have sold a couple each and the rest are sitting.

I still think you just need to go back one page in this thread and look at those pics and you will be more than willing to shell out $35 for the Oct Droid.

I also got my BMF for $35, but it is a totally different scenario when you get something at final clearance price.

What's truly mind blowing is the price some of these figures are selling for alone on eBay. I mean I saw a Wedge that ended at $61!!!  :o

That's outrageous. Maybe if you are high on crack when you are buying stuff on ebay that kind of thing happens.

Where'd you find it Jason?  Just wondering what stores I should be looking at.

Not sure about your area, but this wave has been most plentiful at Target stores around Minneapolis.  Good luck!

Except for the ones we visit, Justin.  >:(

I'm thinking "plentiful" is a little bit strong of a word.

Still haven't seen this one and I'm thinking it could be a while. The Shadow ARC is collecting dust at every big box store around here (and we have many). I'm really curious to see what XMas brings this year. Usually XMas brings out the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles who clean shelves of whatever is on it. Though with so many people just struggling to makes ends meet will the same happene again this year?

I think it's the only way, short of clearances, to get the Shadow ARC off shelves.

I worked for Target for years and can't think of more than a couple instances where Target will put a specific item from an assortment on clearance. Because they put DPCIs on clearance not the specific item which would mean the Y Wing would be marked down too. And they can't change the DPCI since they come in the same assortment.
