If you guys can get this to work on the B Wing or the Lars Homestead then more power to you, but when the ad says 40% off and then lists the price $14.99 to me that isn't ambigious. That means a specific original price which the B Wing and Lars HS are not.

The Legacy Collection / Re: Card Size?
« on: March 23, 2009, 09:52 AM »
For storage and environment reasons I wouldn't mind the SW cards being smaller, but I think the Marvel stuff is too small. It just doesn't look right to me. I'm not exactly sure why. But its not pleasing to the (my) eye when its that small.

BPs have been $24.99 at Targets in my area for months.

I think the season was great.

And whereas I am curious to see where the Anakin/Ahsoka thing will go and end, I really like her and she doesn't ruin anything AND I think kids really like her and this Cartoon Network show is very much for kids.

Yeah Hasbro. Really weird that the line stopped showing promise once you raised the price from $5 to $8 when in the aisle over you could buy die cast stuff for $1.

I'm pissed. I love this line.

I don't know what they were thinking with these. I have seen them at all the TRUs in my area and I think one store has sold one marble so far. It looks like the Ziro is the "limited" platinum one in the first wave. But $4 for a single marble, really? I would be surprised if more than two waves of these ever make it to stores.

I've been seeing a lot more of the newer/WM exclusive Comic Packs lately

These haven't even hit anywhere near Los Angeles yet.

First time that has happened.  :o

Not really. WM has been really horrible about getting the exclusives to our stores. One of the three here in the Valley never gets them at all.

We have numerous WMs in MN that don't get any of the exclusives. It's really annoying.

We've been talking these in the MN thread, but wasn't sure if it had been mentioned in the main Lego thread, but Target has a V19 Starfighter and Grievous' ship mini set for $4 in the Easter toy section if anyone is interested.

If this was already mentioned sorry for the repeat.

I saw the AT-AT set at a couple of Targets today.  Strangely, no signs of the new 2 packs at Target yet (at least locally).

The $40 AT-AT is out now? Or are you talking about something else?

What store chain did you pick these up at?

People are going to have to change their tune if the Patriots get Julius Peppers for the 2nd round draft pick they traded Cassel away for.

Don't buy the EU stuff then. If you consider the new CW stuff EU then you will end up with tons of it. I think Lucas and Hasbro know they have to grow the kids into fans if this line is going to continue for decades more so all the EU stuff is going to let the movie stuff keep getting made as a huge line that gets a lot of space at general retailers.

My biggest confusion is not people who say I don't like EU stuff and won't buy it, but the people who say I hate it and they should stop making it. You wouldn't get all the stuff you like for years to come if it didn't exist.

I'd take a new obscure film character over even the most popular EU creation any day of the week.

The reason that doesn't really make sense to me is that it isn't like the EU characters we get (for the most part) are basic figs taking the place of some film character. There have been a few EU waves and is one in the future, but they are few and far between. Whereas CPs for instance wouldn't exist if they weren't EU. And maybe the argument is there could be a different line of toys that were film based without CPs, but I don't know for sure.

I'm glad Hasbro agrees with me and not you. Or at least whatever their reasoning is it fits what I think/like.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Hasbro keep bringing on more EU stuff. I still want my OTC stuff, but I would rather have a Borsk Fey'lya than my 456th Darth Vader fig. I do follow the EU stuff and I enjoy it greatly.
