Maybe you guys shouldn't be so biased towards short people. Why can't a small person be in the rebel army?  ;)

Other Toy Lines / Re: McFarlane Toys R.I.P.

McFarlane stuff has always been geared to adults so I think they were more than willing to trade articulation for really accurate look. Which when your making adult toys makes sense to me.

I saw those too, and the Jawa was very tempting but I ultimately passed. I also thought it was pretty cool that they made a Tarkin marble. :)

I'm a huge Tarkin fan and was tempted, but then remembered I'd be spending $4 for a marble and didn't.

This is probably my most pointless post ever, but a local Target had the ANH wave of marbles in stock. The Vader vs. Obi Wan is the "platinum" one in this wave.

I'm glad someone recognized my question for what it was.

Does anybody know what the effect weightlessness has on the ability of ants to sort tiny screws?

Ouch.....I feel bad for the two of everything people out there on these things.  Makes me feel better that I'm not a completest anymore though.  $$

I am normally a "two of everything" person. But for these, I'm leaning towards just getting one of each to keep MIB. If it turns out that the Hailfire Droid or V-Wing are indeed repainted in some way, then I will get them. If not, then only one of each for me with these.

Are these two nothing more than repacked TAC Hailfire and CW (original) Hailfire? I thought they were going to be "snazzy" colors like the recent AAT, etc. If that's the case then I don't even know why I was thinking about these.

It defineately looks like Brainiac is the wave 5 pegwarmer.

Easy wave to wait on as I am only getting Kit Fisto and the Rocket Droid. Would sooner burn all the Jar Jars.

Jar Jars the best fig in the wave.

What the hell was this - Worst Directors Ever? I mean seriously the guys from South Park could do a better job! And we all remember BASEketball.

I'm not saying BASEketball was good, but I don't think the idea behind it was to make a great film.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Who Is Not Buying?
« on: April 15, 2009, 06:42 PM »
My original plan for this line was just to buy new characters. But I love the line so I buy it all. And the best figs are the animated versions of characters I already have a "regular" version of.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Terminator the Series
« on: April 14, 2009, 05:48 PM »
I understand that every time someone jumps through time and does something it changes the future, etc etc etc. but to me that "fact" makes one version of the future a small fraction of the "rest" of the futures and takes away from what you are watching. I think they need to down play that.

I don't like young John jumping into the middle of the resistance he started. That doesn't make sense to me in keeping with my general understanding of Terminator stuff. I'm a fan but not super hardcore and it just confuses me.

JD Sports Forum! / Re: College Hockey
« on: April 13, 2009, 05:43 PM »
I don't know if anyone else watched it, but the last 1:20 of the Men's Frozen Four Championship game was unreal.  That has to be one of the worst choke jobs I've ever seen in college hockey.

Giving up two goals in the final 60 seconds and then losing in OT?   :o

That was one of the biggest choke jobs in sports not just college hockey.
