The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Clone Wars ARC-170 (Imperial Deco)

I won't buy the ARC for any of the prices it is going for but Target is selling them for $65 (I think some even $60) so that makes it a little less expensive when the Y Wing does get released.

Is it just me who gets the impression that there are a lot of people collecting SW toys who don't actually enjoy it? And I do recognize the difference between being pissed about price increases and not enjoying collecting.

I love it, which is why I do it.

My head is going to explode...

I'm going to buy it because it's a cool, bordering on iconic, scene specific set up. Might even make a nice shelf display piece. If it doesn't get made, I won't cry.

Beautifully stated.

Just an FYI. The "Abyss" book is coming out on Aug. 18th now for anyone who cares and wanted to know it's a week ahead of the original post.

I saw the Favre thing on the news at Champps yesterday as well.  I don't get why Vike fans are upset - I thought you were all saying he should just retire and that you didn't want him anyway?  So he goes and retires (finally) and everyone's pissed at him for that?  I'm no Viking fan, but I personally think you're much better off with Rosenfells anyway.

I'm fine with whatever Favre decided. I would be fine with Rosenfells except I'm pretty sure like a bunch of clueless morons we are gonna start T Suck, I mean Jack.

A Clockwork Orange may have been a better movie than book... that's because the whole book was written in first person from Alex in his future-speak.  Tough to sift through parts of it.  Still it was a good book.  But the movie was brilliant.  The movie was very faithful to the book, only omitting one major scene I noticed.  Ending was different, though.  The book went a few more years into the future, while the movie stopped after Alex was rewarded.

I've never read the book. I probably should. I love the movie. Malcolm McDowell gives one of my top three acting performances in it.

eh...i kinda think Harry Potter is dumb....the books are better

Of course the books are better. When are movies ever better than books? In a movie you have to try and cram 700 pages of plot into 2 hrs.

Picked up the Crab Droid and Can Cell today (because I never bought them in the ROTS days) and as others have stated, wow what a waste of packaging. They must have added all the packaging they saved on the new carded figs to put in these deluxe figs.

Well ****, then don't buy one.

In the mean time don't sit around and talk about how Hasbro shouldn't make something that other people do want made.  You lose nothing if they do make it, and a lot of us are happy.

I tried my hardest not to post the same thing in reply. Thanks for doing it.

AP - I'm curious to know why you disliked the set.  I thought it looked pretty neat for what it was and yes I'd pay $30 for this.

The Funeral Pyre for Darth Vader set was a blemish on an otherwise shining product offering, and if you liked that set, I'm sorry. You're wrong.

I'm just glad that someone is out there to tell me that my opinion on what I like is wrong. Thanks you saved me some money in the future.  :P

BMF Slave 1 is coming!!!!  Be prepared to ee it at Comic-Con!!!

No it's not. I just got out of the panel. Someone asked about it. It's not coming.

Didn't they say unless it shows up in this animated series?

I just want you guys to know that if this is NOT coming now you are responsible for making me think it was and now the fact I am crying!!!!!

Hasbro Presentation: Imperial Scanning Crew will be a running change with 2 different crates.

Thank God for that. I mean can you imagine if we weren't going to get a choice of crates? I don't even want to think about it.

The new tites look very impressive!  Frankly I'm shocked that Hasbro bothered showing them, but I'm not complaining.  Just hoping that WM's and TRU's are able to stock these.  Not sure if I want to start buying cases of these final waves online.   :-\

I have a really bad feeling that that is going to be the only way to track these lasts handful down.
