As I and many smarter than me NFL minds said two weeks ago, the NFC Championship game was the true Super Bowl. So yes the Pats would have lost too.

What I am saying is Tom Brady, John Elway, Johnny Unitas, Joe Montana, and Michael Corrleone just shut the door on Peyton Manning and Kay.

If you knew me you'd understand: And the winner is...... Tom Brady.

Using my super illogical mindset, I now have all the vintage figs I absolutely want/ can afford to have in my collection after receiving a loose Ewoks Dulok Scout today. (ie some variants are too expensive or I don't care much about and then from the Droids line, the two Fromms and the two droids are too much for not being from the movies).

Because apparently one WW toy wasn't enough I got a Variant Playarts Kai Wonder Woman on ebay. Her right arm is broken, but I paid less than half of what the other lowest selling ones on ebay are going for. Another real nice toy. Need to stick to SW though.

I've has some pretty boring acquisitions posted here, but this may take the cake. For $6 I bought an "Escape From Death Star Game" at a used book store. Box is in decent shape and all the pieces were there so I couldn't resist.

Did you find her at retail?

No. Ebay. Paid about what she would have cost at TRU after tax.

Acknowledging my "like" of Wonder Woman to have always been about appearance and not knowing a bunch about her story, so I'm not talking likeness, costume, etc. here, I picked up a DC Comics Unlimited Wonder Woman recently and the thing is gorgeous. The figure and the artwork on the box are really top notch.

Is the trooper a Bend-um figure with a dark gray lid?

I believe he is made of PVC. He does have the grey lid, but he is not "bendy" like the 1993/4 or whatever Bend ems were. It looks like he is articulated at a glance, but is not.

I knew that ahead of time. I just like that it looks like a weird painted vintage Stormtrooper.

Single Glenn at Walgreens by me. Do they only get partial cases?

Not sure what era I consider 1990, but since it was all of $3.40 I picked up a Euro Disney Stormtrooper. At quick glance it looks just like a vintage Stormtrooper with his crown painted grey so it's close enough to vintage for me.

Do the arms and legs move or he a static figure?

I believe he is completely static.

No order past ROTJ and I reserve the right to change as this is off the top of my head:
1. ANH
2. ESB
3. Godfather Part 2
4. Schindler's List
5. Godfather
6. ROTJ
7. A Clockwork Orange
8. Ben Hur
9. Rear Window
10. Psycho
11. Grave of the Fireflies
12. Shawshank Redemption
13. Pulp Fiction
14. Blade Runner
15. ROTLA
16. Seven
17. Two Towers
18. Silence of the Lambs
19. Casablanca
20. Big

And this is too hard because I have way too many more.

Star Wars Universe / Re: Disney to Purge Select EU

All good points.

I am in the camp that says "whore it out if it gives me more to enjoy" over a few non-whored out things here and there. A lot of not whored out stuff would have been best of course, but who would have guessed George was only in it for the money.

I think fans of the Star Wars EU need to embrace the change that the a Star Trek EU fans had to face years ago, and that is that if your book/comic/whatever does not fit with a story the television or movie makers want to produce then guess which piece of media loses and becomes a "what if" story. I'll give you a hint, it certainly isn't the one that cost millions of dollars to produce.  ;)

I have no problem with this, but it still doesn't mean Disney has to "change" or "cancel" things out. They can do their thing and the stories can not match up, but don't tell me it's not canon because "you" say so. Just acknowledge anything post Thrawn isn't necessarily going to fit into Disney's story. It would be impossible to do it otherwise, but Walt's frozen head just coming in and wiping it out, at least in Disney's mind, is a slap in the face.

The EU lovers and haters both need to accept the stories haven't been congruent and never will.
