The Sequel Trilogy / Re: The Force Awakens Trailers
« on: November 29, 2014, 11:44 PM »
I've always been able to put the OT in a bubble surrounded by an invincible force field that can't be touched by anything else that has the Star Wars name on it. To me nothing can detract from them. That's partly why I'm able to be a big EU fan. And as bad as the prequels were and as low (relative to the OT, not the PT) my hopes are for the whore Disney's trilogy, I'm nothing but excited. It's more SW. I'm always happy to throw a little negativity out there, but this next year can't go by fast enough.

Though if soccer is a part of the new movies then all bets are off..........  ;)

My "problem" continues!

I agree, it will be fun to watch all those rainbow-arcing downfield touchdowns he will be catching next year from RG3. Between him, Garcon, and Jordan Reed, that is going to be one dynamic passing offense.  ;D

Dan hasn't done anything to f this team up in quite awhile. You can thank the Shamahans for the car wreck that was last season.  The team now is a lot closer to 2012 than 2013.

This is douch-y but can't help myself......

Hahahahahahahahahaha.... nearly pissed my pants

Seems virtually impossible that Star Wars combined with Samurai couldn't be awesome.

Any thoughts on Darryl dragging his hand across the walker mouth?

I just took that as a "in the moment scare" not a "will we find something out in the future scare"

What a jumbled mess of a filler episode

Nicely put!

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: 6" Black Series Rumors
« on: November 21, 2014, 03:37 PM »
Rumor has it Wave 6 has already popped up at Target... ;)

Cool, but relentless.

Was it Target or Walmart? RS says one and YF says the other (with a quick look by me anyway).

FU Stormtrooper Commander 6"
McQuarrie Concept Boba Fett Helmet for 6" figure.
Not great quality, but good enough.

Picked up "Tarkin" this morning. So excited!

2 out of 5.
Tarkin's early history was some what interesting, but the plot of the book was boring. I liked the interaction between Vader and Tarkin. But remove Tarkin and make it just a generic Imperial big shot and the book would have been a joke.

Picked up Ezra and The Inquisitor at Target today. But the partial case thing is killing me

New Pink Floyd Album "The Endless River" hits today.

I'm excited to listen to it.

Thanks for the reminder. Picked it up yesterday.

HOLIDAY may be on specific toys, not sure.  It just came to me today.

Kinda weird to give that specific code to enter, but it only works with certain toys, but then again HTS isn't exactly normal either.  :-\

I read the fine print. It's only for toys in the "hot holiday toys" list.

I thought the Beth episode was bad and not because it was boring. Just bad. I enjoyed this episode. Nothing boring about it. Assuming they are going same route with Abraham's back story as they did in the comics (they didn't really officially say that) it was nice to get that in the show now. And adding some development to Eugene was needed. I am a little more pissed with Glenn and Maggie for ditching the rest of the group now. Just seeing them in this episode made me think of that. I enjoyed Rosita and Abraham's interaction.

These episodes where we get more out of the "secondary" characters are needed to keep the show interesting in my opinion. I don't just want to see zombies killed. There are plenty of bad zombie movies out there for  that.

Sorry that was a lot of random thoughts put into one paragraph.

First revelation in the show that I have been disappointed to already know from the comic
