Been awhile since I've felt this way but........ eh.

Carol with the little boy was creepy.

Rick kissing the married lady should set something interesting up. Though mostly it makes me sad we don't have the Rick and Andrea relationship from the comics going.

And I'm a little scared they may have "traded" Daryl for Jesus. I really like Daryl but Jesus is awesome. Hopefully I'm just reading something out of nothing.

In the book "Tarkin", which was released post Disney taking over, so I don't know exactly what that means for canon, Legends, etc.  ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) Tarkin is pretty sure Vader is/was Anakin.

I went from really disliking this show to being super psyched about it going forward thanks to these last three episodes

Watched "Birdman" last night. Twelve hours later and I still can't decide if I liked it or if it was too snobby. I don't even like superhero movies for the most part either, but Birdman's message may have been a little too full of itself. And I consider myself somewhat of a movie and music snob. The fact Birdman somewhat was satarizing itself may be it's saving grace.

I thought the whole idea of the episode was to show how close to rock bottom they are. People are thinking of giving up.

I took the tree thing in a similar light. But it showing there is still hope. And specifically for Gabriel maybe even divine hope.

If the story progresses as I think then this makes sense to me.

Vintage Kenner / Re: Storing your Loose Figs
« on: February 6, 2015, 11:37 PM »
My figures are stored/displayed in curio cabinets/shelving units. Collections are to be displayed not stored away unless you are moving. If you are going to store figures & what not for a long long time then you should not be collecting... My figures are on figure bases in real cabinets & can be seen 24/7 not $55. plus to hide them away to rot IMHO!

Thanks for letting me know I shouldn't be collecting. I'm glad you are here to school us all. I'll throw all my stuff out tomorrow. Again thank you very much. Wish I hadn't wasted the last 20 years. Where were you then?

I'd love to display my stuff more than I currently can and am honestly thinking of becoming an "opener" so I can, but don't need people telling me I shouldn't collect because I store a lot of my stuff. That's a really d bag thing to say to a lot of us collectors out there IMHO!!

Seriously this line really pisses me off "If you are going to store figures & what not for a long long time then you should not be collecting..."....... Ok time to move on I guess and go back to enjoying my collection as much as I always have despite it's non 24/7 displayability.

Nope, not quite done. I've always thought the most obnoxious thing is when someone else tells you how to enjoy collecting something. The whole idea behind collecting something is the enjoyment YOU get out of YOUR collection. However YOU choose to do it. Would have though another collector would get that.

Man this got me riled up good.

Luckily I don't remember much of the bad, as this was the first Super Bowl in 5 years where I didn't have to work, so I basically spent it drunk.

Sounds like you actually are Johnny Manziel.

Got the Sand Skimmer today. Yellow bubble, some veining in card, but overall very nice. Think I got lucky here.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Everything eBay! Scams, questions, etc...
« on: February 1, 2015, 02:50 PM »
I am not asking this so I can do it. I'm dealing with an obnoxious seller right now who keeps taking his time to respond to questions and then finally will say/do something like he's moving to the next step in the process, but very slowly as if he hopes to drag it out so long the eBay protection policy expires. I was trying to think what he'd do next and this popped in my head.

Post pictures of something in your collection that is valuable on ebay for auction.
Winner takes it for $x00.00
Pay for and print shipping label.
Affix it to empty box and send it on it's way to winner.
He gets it. Lets eBay know the box was empty.
Do they believe him or does the seller keep the money because tracking number shows it delivered?

Picked up a carded POTF Sand Skimmer from Brianstoys today for $54.99 w/ free shipping. I think it's a steal considering what I've thought about spending on loose versions.

When that arrives I will have a version (many incomplete mind you) of every vintage figure, vehicle, and playset including Droids and Ewoks. Now the long and arduous journey to completing the many that aren't complete.
