The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (SPOILERS)
« on: December 21, 2015, 06:02 PM »
I've been reading a lot of stuff I agree with. Did however want to whole heartedly disagree with Justin's thoughts on Driver. I thought he very much fit the part of "fighting off the light side" when he was helmetless. I didn't take it as whiny but as torn.

I thought casting across the board was brilliant

Picked these 3 up today. Not sure I'll keep Poe and Luke's lightsaber, I mean Rey.

I really like the Jacen Solo, I mean Ben Solo (yes I'm a little bitter they didn't go Jacen). And I really like it more so because I really like Jacen/Darth Caedus in the EU world than the fig itself is that good.

The movie could have used a child actor or a a little older actor who had mastered the art of whiny acting.........

Anyone else have a small stroke before they realized Snoke was a hologram and not a giant?

The Force Awakens / Re: The Force Awakens 3.75" 'Armor Up' Assortment

So is the Poe the same as the one in the X Wing?

Justin-I wanted to make sure you took the email from Disney to say "order cancelled" ie if they were to get more we'd still have to place a new order to get one. Not that if they get more then they'll send it.

66
And sounds like orders have been cancelled by Disney.

1:6 Scale Figures and Collectibles / Re: Force Awakens 12"
« on: December 8, 2015, 01:49 PM »
I have seen them all over lately.  I don't think he will be hard to get if you're collecting them.  They definitely look cool, but no space for that huge scale anymore.

Are you talking 12" or 18"?

Pretty sure I have seen both.  Want me to snag or stash if I see one?  I didn't realize anyone was collecting these.

No thanks.

Thanks for the heads up!

Vintage Kenner / Re: Latest vintage acquisition

After some frosting, a cracked bubble and an "unsealing" bubble I've resigned myself to $50 or less for most carded vintage (which means I hardly buy anything anymore). I figure that if something I paid $50 doesn't stay carded I'll live. That being said I'd rather keep my fingers crossed on all the stuff I currently have and will hold on to. (obviously the Lili Ledy Chewie was an exception, a part of that being it can't become "unsealed" as it already did)

Decided to take a look at some of the other foreign cardback figs. As I already knew most are out of my price range, but stumbled across this and still can't figure out why I got it for so little. It does have some creases, bubble dents, and gun has come loose, but still displays nice.

I was watching this for months. It went on sale for 25% off. I threw all my other Christmas and birthday present plans out the window and grabbed it.

IT IS A RESEAL, but everything is original Lili Ledy and it looks really nice. Goes straight to the top five list in my collection.

Has anyone noticed the TRU exclusive 12" Captain Phasma in store during their toy runs? I see them showing up on eBay now.
