Thanks Jeff.

Have there been any rumors/announcements/rumblings about a 6" scale Maz Kanata?

My prediction made with no research other than 4 viewings of the movie and reading the book once.

Ben is the star student at Luke's academy. He's got a little fandom towards his grandpa and a big ego. A younger girl shows up and is very force strong. Ben finds out who she is, Luke's kid, realizes his open path to the next big thing Jedi isn't so guaranteed now. Snoke starts putting ideas in his mind (in book leia mentions snoke was watching Ben for a long time). Next thing Ben destroys academy with luke and daughter only survivors. Luke goes to his mountain. Rey to Jakku to hide and here we are.

I always enjoy reading the SW novel after having seen the movie multiple times.

That being said, it didn't add a ton.
unkar pluut in maz's castle
more about how starkiller weapon works
poe getting from crashed tie fighter to safety
some of rey's inner thoughts about the force/dark side

And there isn't really anything kylo ren thinks or says that is specific about who or how he knows rey. But there are things the book says that tells you he does. And snoke says to hux "I think kylo was right about rey"

Also enjoyed the han death scene. What han and kylo were thinking.

And snoke is a lot more pissed with kylo about some of his decisions

That was kind of all over but hope it helps

And she is?

It's not specific, but I've heard a lot of people saying they'd like her to just be "a girl" who becomes a part of the story and doesn't have to be Kylo's sister, Luke's daughter, the other survivor from Luke's academy, etc. and that possibility is gone.

Finally got a chance to read "The Force Awakens". Not as much extra info as I was hoping, BUT Kylo Ren certainly knows who Rey is pre-Force Awakens.

If you have a "small" Target by you that carried the Millennium Falcon take a look for them. Target near me marked them down to $41 and change today.

Are you talking about the one with the nerf gun in it?

Yes, sorry, Battle Action or whatever they called it with Nerf gun and Finn, Chewie, BB8. Was $140.

I think you missed my point, Nick.

No, I got your point. Hook em at "cheaper" figs w/ no articulation and then when you raise the price because the figs are nicer you've still got them hooked.

You just got the brunt of my annoyance with every (of course that's exaggeration) post about Hasbro and the new line of figures having to be negative. Jeff points out a nice upgrade to the Ackbar and the next comment is about Hasbro suckering people in. Again Siddy it isn't really about your post as much as it is I feel from what I read I'm the only one who likes and still enjoys this new stuff (again an exaggeration).

No kidding. When is Hasbro going to stop caring about making money and give us an 87 point of articulation figure for $1.99. I mean really Hasbro.

Judith might be a much more effective tool to paint Negan as a monster than just about anything else.

I might have agreed with that except would everyone's apathy toward Judith make us not feel as strongly toward Negan being a monster if he killed her? I feel it wouldn't work.

Where did you find the Star Destroyer/ Mon Cal Frigate?

I only have a couple of these, but that sounds like a must have.

Anyone else collecting the Hot Wheels ships?  I bought my son the remaining ships he was missing for Christmas, and I just picked up the 2-pack with the Star Destroyer and Mon Cal frigate.  The only one that eludes me so far is the Rebels TIE which is in a 2-pack with the Ghost.  I even have the two versions of the snowspeeder (Luke's is packed in with a "playset").

Mostly talking to myself here, but I saw the First Order Snowtrooper today and I really liked it. I wish that these things weren't so big because I like how they look being so big. (I say that realizing how illogical it is).
